  1. It would be too pricey for me. I would have to take my wife, son and nephew. That puts walk-in at $20,000, not even taking into account ancillaries. Probably end up over $30k. Not to mention how upset my daughter-in-law and my nephew’s wife would be for leaving them out (one is a Bills fan but married into it; the other is a Chargers fan).

No, we’ve already decided that if Buffalo is in it, we will go somewhere together (all 6 of us) to watch the game. We could go to the Caribbean for half that to watch the game. And I would be with the Bills fans that mean the most to me.

I saw the non-tripping call as a makeup for the slight hand check by Kelcie that cost the chiefs a 35 yard gain.  Then I got mad when this post reminded me of all the free defensive holding calls they gave Mahomes.

In real speed, did anyone start screaming for a tripping call?  I know no one at my house did. After replay we did, but I can see why he didn’t throw a flag. Should he have?  Hell yes. But in real speed, I can understand why it wasn’t thrown.

glad it didn’t cost us the game.

  3. I’ve met a few players over the years. Usually just a handshake and a hello. I’ve never talked football with them, except for one.

I was in the Atlanta airport late one night, traveling home from a work trip. This was back before smart phones and such devices. Early 2000’s. The concourse was pretty empty, and I was sitting in a gate area reading a magazine or newspaper. I was wearing a Bills sweatshirt.

out of nowhere, this older gentleman comes up to me and asks if I am a fan. I told him I was, and I introduced myself. He introduced himself as Billy Shaw. I noticed a ring on his finger and asked if it was one of his AFL championship rings. His face lit up as he held it out, and he said no, this was his most treasured ring. It was his HOF ring.   He took a seat and we talked for ten or fifteen minutes. Super nice guy. He initiated the encounter and seemed to enjoy talking about his playing time and the Bills in general.  His flight was called and we said our goodbyes.

    Great memory.

If these are all lies, Araiza needs to publicly come out and explain what did or didn’t happen like immediately.  Gang rape and minor and NFL player.  The story is taking on a life if it’s own.  He needs to defend himself in media immediately.

You don’t “defend yourself in the media” if there is a criminal investigation. That could go really bad. But, you’re not concerned about that. You only want to continue trying this in the media. Much more fun on social media than a court of law, right?

The detectives will have made notes of what they heard on the calls.

The recording doesn’t even have to be admitted. The accuser and the detectives listening can testify about the conversation. And before you all start screaming hearsay, read Rule 801(d) of Federal Evidence. I practice in Alabama, but I assume CA has similar exceptions.

Why do the political types like Beasley tend to have Dish Network instead of DirecTV? Could just be me, but I've really noticed this being a thing.

And what “political type” is that?

people just can’t help themselves. Leave your political views off a football message board.
