  1. I'm retired military too!  I retired this year, but I recently got a civil service job.  Trust me, it gets boring sitting around the house, but you must find something to do to keep your mind occupied.  Register for classes, volunteer for habitat for humanity, find a local organization and get involved.  Do something that makes you happy.

From what I have seen he looks fine. Moves well, stronger arm than I expected, poised in the pocket.

Lets play a game, name Chicago's WRs?? He has a bunch of bums out there, learning the game and avoiding injury were the task for 17. So far so good.

I'll admit I don't follow the Bears, but I thought Wheaton was pretty good when he played with Big Ben.  I also thought Inman was decent when he played with Rivers, but other than that, I can't say much about the talent around him.  He does have two good receivers in Meredith and Kevin White hurt this year.  Next year he should have a pretty good supporting cast to help him out.

  3. I saw him live when Carolina played Jacksonville in a preseason game back in August.  I thought he looked better than Chad Henne during the game.  I didn't know anything about the guy at the time, but he looked good against backups.  If we let TJ Yates go then I don't have much confidence in this guy making the team.

Easy for a ref to not see it.. I didn't see it in real time. I would expect discipline from the league, though.

The refs job on a run play is to watch the QB until the play moves downfield.  On passing plays, his/her job is to watch the QB from drop to release.  So, it's unclear how they missed that one because it was a clear shot to the head.

I am curious if anyone has an answer for this. I was driving through Moulds hometown of Lucedale, MS and there is a sign proclaiming "Lucedale, MS, home of Pro Bowl receiver Eric Moulds". In the picture Moulds is in a Titans uniform. He did finish his career there but not even a full season. Did he have a falling out with the Bills organization? I was not aware if there were any negative feelings on either side?

I recall him playing for the Titans for a little while, but I don't remember if he played a whole year.

Where did you see that sign?  I travel to Lucedale everytime I go home (closest Walmart) and have never saw that sign.  You probably passed through my hometown of Beaumont too!  If you blink you missed it.

I was a little disappointed when I read Eric Moulds was only "honorable mention."  How could they underrate such a gifted receiver?!?!

I didn't know this until about 10 years ago, but Eric Moulds use to come to my house when he was little.  I really don't remember because I was little too.  It was pretty cool when his mom and my my mom were talking about their kids and my mom told his that I was in the US Air Force.  His mom replied that her son played in the NFL.  Well, his mom won those bragging rights. Lol

I agree. That moved hurts and it's going to linger. It looks like Hue was able to save face because that was Sashi's screw up. Meanwhile he has won one game in nearly two seasons and has shown that he will fall out of line if he doesn't get his way.

If for whatever reason they trusted Hue that much then make him the GM. What could possibly go wrong? They could then find a better coach!

It was rumored that Hue really like Wentz, but they didn't draft him, which I assume had more to do with Hue not selling it to Sashi better.

Cleveland is on the cusp of being a good football team.  They just needs a few more pieces on Defense and a legit QB.  They actually have a decent offense now.  I'm actually picking them to upset the Ravens this week.  Call me crazy, but I have them winning.

Are you serious?  Dumping Hotrod to go with Robert Griffin?  Even the Bills aren't dumb enough to do that.

Cmon man, you know that a guy not on the Bills roster is better than what we have.  Like I always tell my neighbor, the best QB in town is the one on the bench or not even on the roster until you have to play said QB and he craps the bed.

Fake or not I want Cousins. I literally don’t care what the cost is. Just get the QB.

Man, I really don't like comments like this.  I'm sure you're just kidding about the cost, but.....Ok, I'm off my soapbox now.  Anyways, I like Cousins too, but I'm not sure he magically turns this team around.  I imagine the record would be similar to what we are right now, but at an asking price where we all say we should have stuck with Peterman and see what he blossoms into.

I can't agree with this flawed conclusion, and you're right, the logic does not make sense.  Starting Peterman against SD was Dennison's idea because he probably thought Peterman could execute his antiquated offense better than Tyrod.  And who ended up looking stupid for this?  McDermott.  If I'm McDermott, I'd be looking over Dennison's shoulder during preparations for NE and wouldn't trust him going forward.

I'm not so sure it was Dennison's idea to start Peterman.  I don't have the link, but shortly after the Chargers game Tyrod referred to Dennison as his friend.  He said he even gave Dennison pointers during the Chargers game. He never spoke so highly of McD.  Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it seems like his entire body language changes when the reporters ask questions about McDermott.

It was knee high, not waist high.  That's why O'Leary went down to get it.  It should have been thrown much earlier - O'Leary was WIDE open right off his break.

Ok, I'll give you that one, but Matthews caught one placed about the same height as that pass and stayed upright.  Again, I'll admit it wasn't a great pass.

Anyways, I'm happy about the victory.  Go Bills!

Taylor had a chance to pretty much bury the Chiefs on a simple play and he didn't take it.  O'Leary wide open in the middle of the field with literally nobody within 20 yards of him...not exaggerating. Taylor has an absolutely clean pocket, nobody near him, nobody in his face...all Taylor has to do is make an easy throw, give O'Leary the chance to run after the catch and instead he throws the ball at his feet where he has to dive and make a catch, nullifying his ability to gain more yards.  Instead of a first down + inside the 20, we have a 3rd and 2 at the 42 oe 43 yard line...3rd down and we lose yards, then punt.

Please watch the play again...sure it wasn't a great throw, but O'leary didn't have to go to his knees to make the catch.  He indeed was bracing for a hit which didn't come.  He could have very easily caught it with his hands.  The ball was waist high.

  13. You know, I feel like the Bills take this one from KC 27-21.  We had them last year until we didn't challenge the Jeremy Maclin long catch that resulted in a score.  I was watching the game in Alaska with a fellow Bills fan and was screaming for a challenge.  Anyways, I have a good feeling about this one.
