Is he? Yes, he is great and is considered the best QB in the game. Big reason for that is his supporting cast steps up in big moments which is a big reason why they have 3 Super Bowl wins. If Allen got that same support the Bills probably have a Super Bowl win or two. Then there is Reid>>>>>>>>>>>>>>McDermott.

Exchange the players, put Allen in KC with Reid and Mahomes in Buffalo with McDermott. I'd bet a whole bunch of money Allen/Reid wouldn't have missed a beat and KC would have still won 3 Super Bowls whereas I also bet the Bills with Mahomes/McDermott would have zero.

Mahomes/Allen are that interchangable whereas Reid/McDermott are not.

Three things Brady did when he took over - he took the ball out of Josh’s hands and ran it more, he simplified the offense, he allowed Josh to have designed QB runs. Josh’s Bills were 6-1 against playoff teams, but 5-5 against teams that missed the postseason.

Despite his total number of TDs, for much of the year Josh struggled with inconsistency; we wondered why the offense looked broken, why everything felt so difficult. He also couldn’t escape the turnover narrative he brought unto himself.

I didn’t feel that Josh had an MVP type of season. Others shouldn’t feel that he did either. Did Lamar deserve the award? I don’t think so, but it’s hard for voters to go against a QB who makes exciting plays for a #1 seed that beats down other top contenders. 6-2 against playoff teams including five blowouts, 7-1 against non-playoff teams. He and the Ravens were the model of consistency all year. That’s why he won the award, all the other chatter about his skin color is nonsense.

So what, that said Allen was still better than Jackson in every stat.

How close would Josh have come to winning the MVP if the Bills had 13 wins and had Lamars exact stats? I know, Josh wouldn't have cracked the top 50 in votes.

There is way more going on here than people want to admit!

  3. So all Lamar needs to do is going forward is throw for 3000 yards 25 TDs and run for about 5 TDs and he is automatic and unani.mous MVP. What a joke the NFL has become, where would the Bills be if Josh only had Lamars numbers.

I'll say it, the NFL is woke and Lamar won it because of his skin color, it's what they wanted, todays NFL is scripted beyond belief and it's disgusting. Prove me wrong, there are others way more deserving!

Good for him, Browns ownership treated him like crap, guy leads that team to breaking their playoff win drought against the ***** Steelers, division rival has to be big for the Browns, what has a tougher follow up season where he still plays hard for them but is playing injured most of the season and they just dump him for a sex offender.

    Yup,

I never had an issue with Baker, he gave Cleveland everything he had and they ***** on him, can't help but feel Baker going to have the last laugh when it's all said and done.

I’m slowly getting more and more convinced this is the kind of old good player that Beane will go after. Especially with Brady’s emphasis on the run and McD being a defensive guy. A pound the rock for 3 YPC guy just feels right.

    So what do we think?

Need a top WR more than a old RB.

    Small?!

We lost maybe the best true OLB in Football for the year. Replaced by a guy who started the game playing hurt already and went down again. We didn't have our new young stud MLB. We didn't even have his backup. We had a guy who was on the couch two weeks ago. And he got halfway through the game too.

We didn't have one of our Starting CB's. And our other starting CB was playing at maybe 50% Guy was screwed on any route over 5-10 yards. Was consistently yards behind guys and unable to close on receptions. Even Mahomes made him stand still with the simplest of moves.

We didn't have the guy who scored 4 TD's on the Chiefs in the :13 seconds game. We didn't even have another Outside WR we could split out wide. We were putting slot guys over there.

All of this on top of Von Miller and Micah Hyde (the guy who replaced him was out too) not even remotely returning to form.

It's insane to think we were able to make it work against Mason Rudolph and the Steelers - so we should have been able to make it work against a team that's been to the AFC Championship 6 years in a row and has the chance to repeat in the Super Bowl and make it 3 Lombardi's in 5 years. One team is a dynasty, the other didn't even belong in the Playoffs.

What's funny is nobody seemed to use injuries of any sort durning the 6 game win streak, yet when they lost epically again in the same fashion to the same but weaker team injuries are all of a sudden the main excuse! Nope don't buy it, enough with the excuses. Excuses are for losers.
