My boss lives in KC so I might actually be able to swing that game as a "business trip".

Thanks!
I don't know about Vinovich, but glad we didn't get Boger. His crews seems to be flag happy. Any idea about the broadcast team, maybe we can get Romo?
I believe we have Romo/Nantz, yes.

For the Bills, I am about at a 4. Steelers are imploding and we should beat them as well as the Jets. Potentially compete with Ravens and Patriots and honestly I'm expecting them to have a shot against the Cowboys.
For the WC race I'm a little bit more concerned, maybe a 6. Even at 10 wins we need some other teams to lose a few. We've got Raiders, Titans, Colts, Texans all kind of bunched up here. Cleveland is sitting there at 6 wins and if they win out they have the tiebreaker over us.

Does anyone know what this weeks plans are for the Bills? I'm thinking they fly to Dallas Wednesday am, in time to get some practice in there Wed pm. What about today and Tuesday - do they practice both days, use one for film review and game planning? I thought Monday's were always "days off" but am not sure.
Richard Sherman did an article once about TNF games and he said they don't get Monday off.

The reason I started after week 4 is because after those four weeks plus the 12 weeks he played last year it gave him a full 16 games worth of games.
Typically, it's said a QB's growth truly starts in season 2 of their career.
Oh and BTW the 2nd QB is none other than Tom Brady - that gives me hope for how Josh and the offense has developed PLUS that the Bills may have finally started to close the gap on the Pats
The 8 rushes for 5 yards gave it away.

Williams was the justification for letting Gillisee go to the Pats. Then we cut him. And we had Tolbert.
That was the year Reggie Bush ran for -3 yards

I hate how much our future depends on the Titans.

Does a tie help or hurt us?

IIRC Denver is good against the run

16-22 but on the lower side of that range.

Micah Hyde, on his regular monday appearnace on that terrible Schlepp and the bulldog, said that no one is using the term "must win" this week, but that the team knows they need to come out strong and put this team down. Take care of business. That was encouraging to hear because you know the players are treating this game as a must win.
Certainly our season isn't over if we lose this one but it's important to not force games like NE and BAL to actually be must-wins.

In this scenario the Jets will be fired up for revenge. It wasn't that long ago they needed a week 17 win at Buffalo to make the playoffs and the Bills ended their season. That was the game Fitz threw 3 INT's. I hope the Bills have a playoff spot clinched before week 17 but I doubt this will be the case.
Was there anyone on the Jets that played in that game and is still on their roster? Hell, Leveon Bell was on the Steelers team that got put into the playoffs because we won that game.
They might play for the spoiler factor but I'm not seeing a revenge game scenario.

Some games more than others.
If we're getting wrecked (Eagles) I kind of check out. I've learned mistakes early on in the game are usually pretty inconsequential. Allen's misses early on yesterday elicited no response from me.
But take a game like Cleveland last week. I was likely annoying my neighbors with profanity-laced shrieks. Games we should be winning but are full of mistakes just tend to get to me.

It's going to be an absolute gauntlet, but it's also going to be a gauntlet for the other teams in our division. Maybe 10-6 wins the division next year if the Patriots continue to decline.

Edmunds could be a special rusher. His length lets him get his arms around guys that appear to have beaten him.

He's like the ultimate game manager at this point. He will absolutely not lose you a game. He's pretty much an OC with his IQ so he can win them a game but against good defenses he's just not making the insane throws he used to.

I think he likes wearing the CBS jacket and being in the broadcast booth too much!
Earlier this year he was in a PGA event and had a stipulation with CBS that if he made the cut on Saturday he could play golf on Sunday and someone would cover for him.
I can't see him giving up that kind of flexibility. But I would like to see him coach.

Announcing his new podcast about CBD

The thing about Fitz is that he comes in, invokes Fitzmagic, but it always eventually runs out. It's the reason he keeps finding himself on the bench.
His stats have been declining every game since he came out against us with the exception of the literal Jets.
We're coming out fired up and with a much longer leash from McDermott.

Or we start winning games we should. If we define "games we should win" as Dolphins, Broncos, and Jets we still need Steelers to lose 2 games (3 if we don't beat them).

Doesn't matter which team wins tonight, as long as the other wins next time.

Knox would have dropped it anyway if it were a perfect pass.

They need to put a defender on him, even if they aren't being super physical for the ball. Throwing lazy bombs to a single guy isn't going to help.

Ideally CLE and PIT split their games. That gives CLE 7 losses and PIT 5. Then we will have to beat them and win the other "expected" wins to get to 10-6 and have the tiebreaker. So it doesn't matter what happens this week as long as the opposite happens next time they play. I'd rather see a CLE win today because I just don't trust PIT to lose many more games whereas CLE needs to completely win out, which is tough to do even with an easy schedule.

31-23 Ravens
Bills keep it close most of the game but simply cannot keep up in the 4th once they start ramming Ingram down our throats.
Even though we lose, the media narrative around the Bills continues being positive as we're seen as more of a dark horse playoff team.
