  1. I've accepted the 2nd down throw was the correct play. I do wish he had gone to Shakir on 3rd down. He would have still needed 2-3 yards but we've seen Shakir make magic happen before and his defender had turned his hips to the inside already when the window to throw was there. At the very least you've got 4th and 2 or 3, you can make the decision then whether you want to kick or not. It makes a 44 yard FG into like a 37 yarder and more importantly it would have put Bass on the left hash where he is considerably more comfortable. Maybe he still misses but it's a better setup than what they gave him.

  2. My gut tells me I need to see game time inactives before I should trust my gut.

Current impression is the offense needs to score 30+ with <2 turnovers. Chiefs have won super bowls with less than elite defenses where their biggest defensive edge was getting pass rush through just enough for their offense to stay ahead of the other team. Our DL is the healthiest defensive unit we have and I think we can win in a similar way to that, but we need a clean game from the offense where they get TDs on the majority of their red zone trips.

Just FYI, that script has seem to flip (for the Steelers) over the past three games.

    Last week: 155 rushing yards

    Week before: 202 rushing yards

Week before that: 113 rushing yards

They seem to have found something in their rushing game over the past three weeks that they didn’t have most of the season.

Rudolph opened up the passing game which helps the run game get going.

Until the last few weeks, I thought the Steelers were 100% frauds.  There is something to be said for eeking out wins in close games, so I have to give them credit for that - but they were one of the luckiest teams in the league to be in the position they were heading into the final weeks.

Since they began starting Rudolph, they've looked like a different team.  That concerns me much more than some wind.  But I still think they're the best draw in the AFC, and a team we should beat 8x out of 10.

I still think they are frauds. Fluke win after fluke win mainly on the back of TJ Watt who is out for this game.

I do think they'll come out swinging and absolutely will try to out-muscle the Bills to start the game, but if we just can put together a clean game it shouldn't even be close, weather notwithstanding.

If you are The Baltimore Ravens, how are you approaching this game against The Steelers? I am asking because I am seeing people say they would be foolish to "let The Bills in" and that they should tank, in hopes of Buffalo being eliminated. I personally think that could backfire because division games are always tough and you never know, especially if The Steelers get in. Do you think The Ravens care about The Bills being a potential threat or would they be more concerned about a pesky divisional rival, or do they just not care at all?

Sorry for bringing this in this thread, but I didn't know where else to put it. I personally would feel a lot better going into this game Sunday night being in the playoffs already, especially if Josh is dinged up.

I've read that both Lamar and Harbaugh at least partially blame too much rust back in 2019 for their team coming into the playoffs flat and ultimately getting bounced prematurely. I expect starters to play at least some of the game.

Think Bill Belichick isn't looking to prevent the Bills from winning the AFC EAST crown🤔. Hope McDermott has the team focused and the Bills play a CLEAN game. No TOs or stupid penalties. Control Barmore

Agree on these. This iteration of the Patriots are similar to the Jets in that you just need to take what the defense gives you and don't turn it over and you'll win a nice boring 24-10 type game. Belichick wants to bait you into taking big shots and that's where they'll pick him off or at least make enough defensive stops to give his offense a chance to get lucky.

That's the kind of thing I pulled for during the drought - because we usually played teams who were more talented, and we needed an equalizer.

We're as good as this Cowboys team, and should beat them at home.  I'd prefer weather not be much of a factor.

Very true. Not sure how we can expect to win a super bowl if we need weather to be a factor as that game will never have bad weather.

  8. This year has been a slowly accumulating pile of pain. Started with the Jets Week 1, losing White against MIA, losing Milano and Jones in London (then the game), making Mac Jones look like Tom Brady, almost losing against NYG and TB, that god awful 12 man bull#### vs. Denver, now this week.

If they somehow go on a streak from here and make a playoff run it'll outdo the 2017 season.

  9. Remember when we lost to NE and TB in consecutive weeks last year and all hope was lost? Then they didn't lose another game the rest of the way and still won the East.

  10. I listen to Lebatard's show and he's been an Allen hater for his entire career so far. He was even shitting on Allen's performance on Sunday saying "you need an arm to be a QB" and then went on to praise Cam's day even though Allen's stat line was 10x better.

He doesn't watch Bills games, he just finds what people on Twitter are talking about and make some exaggerated comment off of it.
