Sorry if you got that out of my post. What I should have said in shortened logic is he will be lucky to finish his first contract let alone his first season not on the IR and his brain is a small pea. I wouldn't draft him before the second round then again I wouldn't even draft him. He could fit with a simplified system like the one Taylor runs, you know pea brains that can not handle a big play book. Cleveland should draft him not the Bills and even on Cleveland his success will be very limited with a very short NFL career.IMO the short bus guys should stick to riding the same bus. If the Bills wanted Jackson they would have kept Tyrod that way they can take turns on IR.

As Gump would say run Tyrod run or should it be now run Jackson run.

    Clueless

  2. I don't really see the miscommunication TBH. Everyone's seen that route before, it's a pretty standard concept: isolate TE on LB and take secondary away for 3-7 yard gain. The TE isn't required to adjust upfield if the ball gets to him on time. Taylor waving Thomas upfield after the fact doesn't impress me, I think he ran his route as drawn up and the pass simply wasn't on time.

Thats because there was no miscommunication. When the QB (No Matter who it is) waves to go the receiver KNOWS to go. You learn that in the sandlot. The first experiences of ever catching a football has its imprints all over it. Stating the TE isnt required to adjust for his QB just reminds me why some of these post are just clueless minds with clueless time. Wow..

  3. All this Dareus Hate. Yes, he does not play up to his incredible talent and potential. Yes, he may be playing hurt. He still is capable of being an asset and a beast on the field. The offenses still are game planning around him. Yes, his contract was a huge mistake by the Bills. But this nonsense about taking a huge cap hit is idiotic. When his contract will allow a trade without a massive cap hit, go ahead and give him another chance to "prove it" with another team. not at a loss though.

And this elevation of McD as some saintly genius. This worship of some nebulous "process" as a miracle cure.

I see McD as a egotistical crusader who has been able to correct the damage done to the defense by another egotistical personality named REX. The Bills D was great before Rex, it has just returned to where it was pre-Rex.

Yes, somebody did great on bringing in Poyer , Hyde. They hit the jackpot on Tre in the draft. They brought in Hauschka in FA. It amazes me that everyone gives McD 100% of the credit for them, but puts down Whaley for other selections. If it turned out good, it was McD, if it turned out bad it was Whaley. Everything that happens that turns out good is because of the "process", while everything that happens bad is Whaley's fault.

The Offense under McD is much worse than when McD was brought in.

McD has not proven anything other than he does not suck as bad as Rex did on the Defensive side of the ball.

Simpleman you nailed it..You should have dropped the mic!!!!

  4.

    I think that's horsesh** myself.

Kelly had more success as a football player. He also arguably lost the team 4 straight superbowls with his partying and playing hung over - he pretty much acknowledges that in his book.

He sucked as a husband and father until he found God and says he reformed. He has more football accomplishments to date but blanket unqualified "deserves way more respect" than 5 other men combined, as men I think McDermott and Tyrod to date deserve more respect for how they comport themselves.

"Has more fame" or "has more football accomplishments" doesn't equate to "deserves more respect" in my book. Your mileage may vary.

    Well stated!!!!

Worth recalling that Jim Kelly's ties to Trump predate his time in Buffalo. He was briefly a NJ General before the USFL failed, and Trump reportedly housed Jim's family when he was in NYC for medical treatment.

He was a Houston Gambler because he REFUSED to play for the Bills

  5. Ahh The "Peoples Champ" Jimbo Superbowl no show Kelly. Couldnt keep it in his pants now cant keep it in his cheek. Mr I need my 15 minutes of fame once again. He never was a team player yet so revered around these parts. I wonder if Fran Tarkenton strolls the Vikings sidelines pumping his chest screaming I went to 4 superbowls 30 years ago look at me. And some wonder why the curse has continued,,,Maybe because the ghouls are still parading around the stadium sidelines. Time for change and a true New Era. Who cares who sits and who stands who works out and stretches or who is holding themselves in a bathroom stall while the anthem is played. No one has ever disrespected a member of the armed services in anyway on the football filed and anyone who feels disrespected is uninformed. Cant be upset with change because its gonna happen one way or another. McD said no plans to address the Kelly situation.............AT THIS TIME!!

  6. In the first game against the NY Jets, the Bills had 190 rushing yards on 42 rushing attempts 4.5 yards per carry average. Against the Panthers, the BIlls ran for 77 yards on 28 attempts a 2.8 YPC average. It got worse against Denver with the best RB in the league held to 1.5 YPC avg. It sure looks broken to me!

This team is set up to be a run-first team that needs to run to win games to help set up the passing game and keeps the defense off the field.

Like I said, this team can't rely on the opponent turning the ball over three times due to stupidity every game. Those three turnovers were huge for the Bills.

8.5 underdogs against the Falcons in Atlanta seems about right.

It's not broken at all. This team ran up against the best two run defenses in the league the last two games. I bet you wont see 1.5 ypc again. I expect close to 180 yards rushing against the Falcons next weekend.
