I would rate him as a better version of Lamar, but not in Josh’s class as a QB.

That Hail Mary play had a hell of a lot more to do with the exceptional talent of Hopkins than it did with Murray.  There are many QBs who can scramble to buy time and throw it up for grabs in the end zone.  This was not some spectacular play by Murray.  It was a spectacular  play by the WR.

WHAT??? He ran left as far to the sideline as possible then twisted to throw a strike right handed!! Lets give proper due when its due!!!

I agree... he's good. Maybe even slightly above average. But, unlike JA I don't see Murray as someone that can become a complete pocket passer. To me Murray is Lamar Jackson 2.0, who was a Michael Vick 2.0; Murray is just a bit smaller. Once they figure him out, he will regress like Lamar has. Don't get me wrong, Lamar still plays at a high level but teams are understanding his game more and are able to defend him better and they will with Murray too. If you look at Jacksons stats, he has 7 less touchdowns to only 2 less picks than Josh. (JA 21 TDs to 7 INT's and Jackson has 14 TD's to 5 INT's) Not to mention Jackson also only has 3 rushing TD's to Josh's 5.

Josh on the other hand can be and is a complete pocket passer. He has pocket presence and awareness; sheds tackles and also has the escape-ability when needed to extend plays. I don't see Lamar or Kyler being able to become that prototypical "pocket" passer and personally, I think because of their size (more so with Kyler than Lamar) I don't think they have the durability to last beyond 5 maybe 6 years in the NFL.

I don't think he's hesitant at all. I think he's trying to focus on his reads and getting the ball down field and trying to run it himself on only the designed plays for him to do that.

Josh has more pass completions 249 than Jackson has attempts 247. Josh also was leading the league in 3rd down conversions percentage. I'm like the GM's..If all things are fairly equal...Give me the tall GUY!

Starting QB’s Bills played against in 2019:

    S. Darnold x 2

    E. Manning

    A. Dalton

    T. Brady x 2

    M. Mariotta

    R. Fitzpatrick x 2

    C. Wentz

    D. Haskins

    B. Mayfield

    B. Allen

    D. Prescott

    L. Jackson

    D. Hodges

That defense only played 6 games against a QB that was considered good to elite and 10 games against QB’s ranging from average to straight garbage.  I’m gonna be the one to say it......the defense was way overrated.

    PLUS!!!

2019 schedule bottom 5 in the league,,2020 schedule top 3 in the league. defense definitely got exposed for what it is..Decent when opportunistic (Turnovers) below average when not.    Still gonna do damage this post season barring major injuries.

When asked how he is able to make plays and come through in the clutch late in the 4th quarter so often when his team needs him, Allen just said "I just want it more than anything." That simple answer basically tells you everything you need to know about why Allen has improved so much in such a short time and in ways that many never thought possible.

Allen's mindset is one of belief and confidence in himself mixed with an insatiable hunger to improve and get better which leads to tirelessly working on improvements and refinements to his game.  Allen is only scratching the surface of what he can become and it is already looking pretty damned good...

I predict Allen leads this team to its first Super Bowl victory within the next 5 years.

I also predict that Allen will take the reigns from Kelly as the best QB ever to play for the Bills by the time his career is over.

    FACTS!!!!!

Right. I think I’ll take your word over the 3x probowler that spent 15 years in the league.... what in the world would he know about the position or the schemes.

    Thanks man.

Wasnt asking for you to take my word nor do i care what Deangelo Hall has to say.. The eye test says top 3 no way no homerism on that.

He was always good, but Bills fans crucified for the mental aspect of his game.

BB cleaned that up for him, but you are fooling yourself if you don't think he has gotten away with more stuff on the Pats.

All you have to do is go look up his old Bills footage and you will see he is called for penalties far less now than he was then.

Thank you..Gilly does the same ish he has done his entire career. Hold hold and hold. Only difference is he gets away with it now cuz he plays for the Cheatriots

  6. Wait for the Cowgirls to lose a few more then ticket prices will plummet. The Stadium is primo and if you get a chance go Saturday to the stadium and sign up for the tour. It's worth the trip alone and they send you a cool little certificate of tour proof. BTW Tailgating is AWESOME!!!

    Njoy & See you there

I went to AT&T Stadium today and all I can say is WOW! I have been to many Professional Sports Stadiums and Arena's all around the world but the AT&T Stadium hands down, is the most impressive facility I have ever seen.

I had some time to kill today prior to an event I had to attend so I said, what the heck, let me run out to the stadium and get a few shots and maybe some souvenirs for some friends back home who are Cowboys fans.

Little did I know that they had a VIP tour for only $27.00 so I said, what the hell, and took the 11/2 hour intimate tour!

First of all, this place is HUGE, Fuccillo HUGE! driving in the area you can see it on the horizon because it just can't hide! Once inside, it's vastness takes on an entirely new scale.

NO OBSTRUCTED VIEWS! Nada. Nothing. Nowhere! Site-lines are simply incredible. 105,000 people, are you kidding me?

The concourse areas are impressive, MANY bathrooms, restaurants, food& beverage stands, NOTHING was neither forgotten nor no expense was spared to give the Cowboys fans the ultimate Fan and Game experience!

I'm an old school Bills fan. Been to many games dating back to the 70's but I have to tell you, this is what we need and we need it DOWNTOWN!

I want to be spoiled and pampered when I shell out the $$$ to see my team. I'm tired of the miserable ride in the dead of winter to OP.

This is the shiney new toy us Bills fans deserve!

Oh and, I also met Jerry Jones as well ?

Did you get the tour certificate they mail to you for taking the tour? Serious stadium no doubt!!!!

He's been with Tasker on the radio this week & I'm surprised by his lack of knowledge.

Yesterday he talked about how Miami traded Wes Welker to NE & expressed astonishment that they would trade him in the division.  What he obviously had no knowledge of is the fact Welker was a restricted free agent & had agreed to terms with NE on a contract with a poison pill that would make it impossible for Miami to match.  Because the contract wasn't signed the fact that NE had Miami over a barrel is somewhat obscured because Welker signed a new contract with NE after the trade, but anyone who covers a team in the division should know this.

Then today they were talking about players whose careers were cut short by injury.  Brown didn't even know what position Greg Cook played.  Greg Cook's story is well known by just about anyone who knows NFL history.  Once again, maybe acceptable for casual or younger fans, but for a guy who covers the NFL for a living, pretty bad.

You expect him to remember every detail of every player move? especially from a non Bills team? Wow you should get a grip and pick a better way to discredit Chris Brown. Brownie is very knowledgeable and not remember specifics of a Welker Deal or what position Greg Cook played is obsurd. Hell there have been 3 or 4 Greg Cooks in the NFL.

Geeez..You can surely tell when its off season..

Yeah.  I can see what you are sayiing.  What you said is your opinion and very well may be true,  HOWEVER,  the patronizing and condescending method of presentation is what will get people defensive.  It was "all right" to say: "I won't be impressed until..." BUT you went with (in essence)  Buffalo sucks and everyone is desperate and will be happy with ANYTHING take.  This method will almost certainly bring out people's negative reactions!

Agreed. I never believe they suck and you will never hear that from me.

Yeah Mello now that I understand the context of your post its a fair take....cant take much from shorts practices except the basic physical talents.

This is the best you could do with your 2nd post?

Hey John from Riverside,,Im from Riverside as well but a long time ago. Yeah i dont post much cuz just like at the old Bills Forum people with differences of opinion seem to lurk so they can complain about someone elses opinion. I wish him well but not excited about running around in shorts. Nothing impressive about it.
