Wallace decided to leave the bills based on the color of his underwear.

"Honestly, I was on the fence of either staying with Buffalo or going to Pittsburgh. And ultimately, when my agent called, and he was like, ‘You should think about going to Pittsburgh.’ I said, ‘OK, I’ll call you back, let me pray about this.’ I prayed, and I said, ‘Lord, if you want me to go to Pittsburgh, let me know, give me a sign.’ Man, I’m just sitting there, just contemplating, and I looked down, and bro, I had black and gold shorts on,” Wallace said. “I was like, ‘Do you know what?’ There it is. There’s a sign. The Lord must want me to go to Pittsburgh. And I honestly just called my agent back and was like, ‘let’s go, let’s do it.’"

Yeah and the dolphins fans are all excited to play us because of what Hill did to us in the playoffs but then give me a blank stare when I tell them the corner he did that to plays for Pittsburgh now and some with a straight face say to me don’t lie  that was tre white.

Did anyone see that heated debate on First Take just now? They were debating if Allen is a top 5 QB in the league.  Keyshawn had him behind Brady, Rogers, Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert & Watson.

I actually have issues w/ all of those names being ranked ahead of Allen.  I get the deference for Brady, but would anyone really want him over Allen RIGHT NOW?  Rogers I can understand more.  Herbert has done nothing in the league.  Burrow looks to be very good, but hasn't shown nearly the versatility & clutch play that Allen has (imo).

    But Watson?

I don't really get it - not just Keyshawn's take, but a still fairly large group of pundits who can't seem to break away from what they thought of Allen in the draft, or his rookie season.  I get that it's not that important, and in general, prefer it when the Bills are disrespected, but it just seems like I'm living on a different planet than some of these guys.

EDIT:  he also had Mahomes ahead of Allen (which is one I completely get, though I think is closer than most)

Here is your answer to who’s better?  Watson gets all his yardage in garbage time when he is losing a game also Watson has just 1 playoff win in his career and only reason for that was a Cody ford phantom call that the league admits it was a mistake.    Allen has to do it against the likes of Belicheat every year and also Allen has won more playoff games in his 5 year then Watson has in his whole career.

Just to be factual, Jason Garrett bought the entire Giants operation down with his prehistoric offense.  We've seen teams overcome a bad Oline like the Giants have but we've never seen a team overcome a bad oline and a scheme that wasn't NFL ready.  John Mara hired JG, not Judge. Judge wanted him gone, a lot of Giants fans feel like Garrett's offense is the Real reason behind Jones, Barkley, Golladays play and is the indirect reason Gettleman and Judge got fired.  This is why there's still belief around the league and in the building [Schoen, Daboll, Mara, Judge before he left] that Jones can be legit.  I stopped in to see what you guys had to say about Dorsey and I had to reply to this comment about the offensive mind of Jason Garrett.  This is why a lot of Giants fans like myself think the most important hire for us is the OC lol.  BTW McDermott blew that game with that brain dead decision to kick the ball in the endzone!  Robbed you guys of a SB victory I think.  Whoever won that game was gonna win the SB in my opinion.

I would have kicked it deep too with 13 seconds left  your defense should be able to hold up.

Agreed. It’s a good strategic counter balance. Plus Breece would make Allen even more deadly. Teams have to totally game plan around both which makes it nearly impossible. Just thinking about it gets me excited.

That speed and size underneath in the pass game forces defenses to move up and cause a linebacker to worry about Breece coming out of the backfield and it opens a lot of space for josh to scramble.

Beane never likes to go into a draft with a whole in the roster.  Our CB position is the last glaring need in our roster.  Levi is gone and there's a good chance Tre won't be finished rehabing his knee before the start of the season.  The available free agent CBs are getting pretty thin;  Gilmore, Joe Hayden, Kyle Fuller, Patrick Peterson, Xavier Rhodes, Tavon Young, Chris Harris, Janoris Jenkins are still out there.

Of all those guys I think Gilmore has the most juice left.  He is coming off that big contract with the Pats that was paying him $10+ million a year and then signed with the Panthers last year for just $7 million.  I'm sure he is looking for another big multi-year deal but he may not get one.  If he doesn't, he might be willing to bite on a one year prove it deal in Buffalo and then look to cash in next year.

Buffalo would be an ideal spot for a one year prove it deal.  He would likely be playing on a team with a lead in the 4th quarter with opposing QBs pressing to score some points.  He would also likely be lined up on the opponent's WR2 when Tre gets back.  That sounds like a great situation to start stacking some interceptions.

I know a lot of people here don't like Gilmore because of how he left Buffalo, but that was with the old regime, and honestly, the old regime was a dumpster fire and I don't blame him for wanting to go to a real franchise.  If Beane can swing a one year deal on Gilmore I think that would put us over the top.  A secondary of Tre, Gilmore, Poyer, Hyde, and Taron Johnson would be scary.

A one year $8-10 million fully guaranteed contract and a chance at a Super Bowl just might just get it done.

I like the idea and he would excel in McDermott system but would that be something there left side of the line played next to each other in last season’s pro bowl now you have the two starting corners in last years pro bowl.

4.39   40.   6’ 1” 217lbs.  A faster and bigger Marshawn Lynch.  Breece can run, catch, and block. He has 2 seasons with over 1,400 yards rushing. Out of all the running backs this year, he is the one I want the most. I really hope we can finally get a star RB to compliment Allen. I would roll with Breece and Singletary.

I agree with you some fans think that Josh has a magical arm and can throw in any conditions but I remember the colts and patriots games in Buffalo were the weather was so bad no Qb could throw but all the colts and patriots did was run the ball and we became the laughing stocks of the league because we could not stop the run.  Buffalo needs that back that puts fears in teams who try to run cover 2 all the time.

I agree that Ford will be given one more chance to prove he's not a bust. The Bills don't easily give up on their high picks.

However Saffold is very athletic whereas Ford has not proven to be.

Also Saffold's size is somewhat misleading to what he brings to the table. From reading what the O-line experts here are saying about Kromer and his methods, it's Saffold's mobility which fits the scheme so well.

I would be a bit concerned if the Bills didn't bring in a legitimate challenger to Cody Ford.

I don’t think they have cap space Beane has been restructuring contracts like a wizard and squeezing the cap like a sponge I don’t know if there is anyone besides Josh he can restructure without some players getting really mad about it.

  8. I don’t think he is not coming back he lost his starting spot to Saffold and Cody Ford will now be the starting Right Guard.  Last year the bills had two starting guards weighing no more then 308 pounds now both weigh 325 plus.
