Josh and Isaiah Mckenzie had the jet motion "drop pass" perfected. That was a staple of our offense two years ago that simply vanished. Would like to see it come back

Hot Take:
Somebody on our current roster will have a bigger starting impact than any of our draft picks.
-
If you come on here complaining about us being in Nickel then I don't think anybody here can help you...
-
How many firsts could we trade for Mahomes to sit him behind Josh?
-
Any season ticket holder will tell you that the last two years have been dogs*** in terms of home game weather. We're lucky to have a guy that will even attempt a pass in some of these games.
Its hilarious to watch opposing QBs and kickers try to figure out the winds in the stadium.
-
Its weather. Even the nice home games aren't always great throwing conditions. Would be interesting to look at his poor home splits and see how other QBs played that day.

Is that the reason why the Bills don’t get many home prime time games? Because of the stadium and it’s a hard set-up? Always wondered why we have so few home night games.
that's always been the word on the street. They seem to make it work just fine, though...

I'm one of those, "I love 1 PM home games" people, but give me the Thanksgiving night game at home.
I know its probably a popular idea, but I think the rule should be: If you win on Thanksgiving, you get to host the following Thanksgiving. I realize its not for everyone, but the Bills have played well on Thanksgiving and it's made my favorite holiday that much better.

Tyrod was a good dude that wanted nothing more than to bring success to Buffalo.
My buddy lived in his building downtown and all he ever did was study film and workout. I'm glad he was the one to get us to the playoffs.

Place went nuts for the Micah Hyde pick and nobody sat down after that.

Home field advantage is more than Josh slinging it around the yard. Opposing QBs & special teams units need to deal with it as well. We just need to suck less than they do.
I have a funny feeling that keeping snow on the field yesterday was a choice made by the team to see how they played in it. The hashs and sidelines were perfectly clean of snow, so they definitely had the option to clear the field.

I love when we can run it, but its not our identity. We need to attack differently against certain coverages.
Last year we stretched defenses horizontally with Mckenzie sweeps. Those have been all but eliminated from the playbook. Getting back to that style of offense would be more beneficial than trying to force a between the tackles running game.

Whoever thought the Pats were going to lay down and die because 5 of their starts opted out last year and returned this year wasn't paying attention.
If we don't start playing full 60 minute games, our matchuhps with the Pats will be tough contests.

I think it was more of a message to our team. "You guys aren't playing well enough and we're going to *make you earn it* until the clock hits zeroes.
Right message for a team that came out flat.

I’m giving this to the players. They didn’t do much scheming in this one. Played safe which was exactly what they’ve been doing vs KC. Difference in this one is the offense put up 38 points. Everyone on defense did their 1/11. Poyer and Hyde played under control all game. They really never had to switch up.
Wait until they post the all-22 and you see the safety/corner coverage combos that they showed pre-snap vs post snap. My guess is that it was anything but vanilla

I'm really struggling with this game on my weekly Pickem Pool. I'm currently ranked third out of 46 in that thing, and I'm only one pick behind #1, and #2. Pressure's on. The current spread is 16.5, and I suspect that is right where it's going to be. I know the Bills could completely stomp them, like they did to Miami. But, I can't get past the notion that they're going to want to keep everyone healthy, play a lot of backups in the second half, and probably want to keep a 2-3 score buffer, and cruise beyond that. But, Houston is not going to stop fighting until the end. I don't think they're going to roll over, and get all mopey like the Dolphins. I could see the Texans covering the spread.
Anybody got opinions?
weather could be an equalizer. I’d expect the spread to drop as we get closer to game day if the forecast stays crappy. -
not when I can watch Kay Adams on GMFB

How is this a discussion?
People here have a preference over the coach and gm who just took us to a conference championship? The guys who get to see him work every day, his daily one on ones, work ethic, culture fit with the team, etc... Sorry they didn't include you in the discussion.
Flipping a 7th rounder ST specialist for a 6th is a steal. Go get the next guy in 2022.

Is nothing sacred anymore? Peanut Butter Whiskey smh.
So many good options and they go with SCREWBALL. Way to fumble at the one yard line whoever the hell put that together...

The addition of Hollister and getting Sweeney back has me optimistic about TE this year. Along with Knox, I feel comfortable not spending the $$ on an aging out Tight End.
-
quick passing game. Getting the offense into a rhythm with timing patterns etc... Like Brady...

Didn't have Josh, but beating the Falcons early in the 2017 season was a turnaround as it relates to how I viewed the team. Players were buying into McDermott and the additions of Trey, Poyer & Hyde were so crucial in that early success.
