Would do if you played in the NFC North? If you had to play us, Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit? You think you would sweep us?
I cannot make sense of this question or questions.... I dont even know. What is this thread?
-
How many games has he actually changed? Some of you are talking like Watkins is the the player that comes in clutch to win us games. Actually, he is the player to hurt his foot every year and almost come back.
I am skeptical about any potential trade but Watkins is definitely trade material.

Hahaha. Love this post and thread

I'm cautiously hopeful. When Pegulas hire a new GM it'll easier to say.

Having two first-round picks next year gives us a significant draft advantage to be able to trade up into the first few spots and get a franchise qb. I think Cleveland is the only other team with 2 next year.
What we want are teams that won't draft a QB next year to tank this season and get up into that 1st or 2nd spot for the 2018 draft. Teams
like the Bears, Titans, Bucs, Colts and Panthers come to mind.
(Obviously an Alex Smith injury or meltdown would work in our favor as well).
It's likely that the Chiefs and Bills will average out to middle 1st round picks next year, and it would probably take our 2019 first round pick as well, but there's a very real possibility that this extra 1st round pick will put us in a position to outbid the field and get a Darnold type QB.
So while you're rooting for the Bills--or against them like some of you miserable posters here--be sure to root against the Chiefs (yes even when they play New England) and the aforementioned teams. And of course, be a Browns fan if you aren't already....
Eh.... Still gonna root for the Chiefs.

....merge them all into a "NEGATIVE NELLIES UNITE" thread for group therapy and commiseration.....gonna be a long weekend......................
Haha. Damn right

I think the majority of people would say it was a horrible draft no matter what happened. A lot of people here is basing their facts on articles and other people's opinions. None of us have actually visited the players and gone through a butt load a situations to determine what's best.

Anyone out there want to argue for 2018? 2019? Come on, convince me that I'm wrong!
Ehhhhhh.... That's a hard one. Maybe 2019 with a lucky Franchise QB pick. Or really lucky Dak Prescott type scenario. Other than that, I don't see it.

Some think he will be fired soon after the draft along with the scouting team.
Thoughts?

The way I look at it, while from a points standpoint Buffao's 1st gained in the trade gets reduced to a 2nd, next year If and when a trade occurs Buffalo's extra 1st becomes a bargaining chip most teams can't compete with without Buffalo being forced to give up anything the following year/draft.
If next years draft is more lucrative / better draft class per team needs the trade becomes even more beneficial in my humble opinion.
Agreed. Having draft capital is potentially important for next year. Plus this year the difference between pick 10 and 27 isn't as bad as years prior.
Here's an interesting link that shows how trades can be evaluated from a basic level:

Love this move.
Promising move, actual smart planning.

Give Taylor another chance I say before drafting a QB early. I know QB comes first, but Bills have plenty of need outside of QB that should be addressed before gambling on uncertain draft prospects..
Rams and Eagles are going to be just fine. The Bills, however, are barely treading water. Our mantra right now is 'Wait till Brady retires and hope Garropolo isn't the second coming.'
Scared of drafting a QB in the first. Scared of success. Satisfied in 'the process'.
It's such a bore rooting for complacent mediocrity.
This is a good point though.

Drop back in to the 20s is what I am hoping for
I agree. But I think trading down to 12 or 13 with Browns or Cardinals is more likely than a team in the 20s. Draft is deep, there isn't a huge need to trade up and lots of teams will want to trade down. Perhaps the Texans would be willing to trade up, but I don't think so.

Gotta love the mocks where we get a 2nd, 4th and 7th plus a future first. Good luck with that one. All those picks and you wait til rd 6 to draft a slow LB when we need a WLB that can run and cover. All that thought into the mock and you fail address a HUGE need til rd 6 with a player that doesn't fit very well into out scheme. Peppers can do some of that stuff but he also just wasn't very good at anything in particular on D. Zero WRs. Lol. Almost laughable imo
Agreed.

Smart move by Pats. Just another example of what superior management looks like. This deal will probably be too much to match. Bills should have tendered him to a higher pick in the first place in my opinion.

Hmmmm, not sure how I feel about another OJ playing for the Bills......
This aside though, OJ has potential beyond almost all others this draft at most positions. For this reason, it's hard to turn him down if he falls to 10....
Wouldn't be disappointed with this pick

Davis will be better with tyrod. He creates more separation than Williams which Taylor needs. Please don't pick Ross at 10.
What type of coaching do you want to see this year?
