Patriots fans are the worst pathetic bandwagon fans in the league. As soon as the going gets tough they go south. Read your own fan board Patriots boy after the B-slapping you got from the Titans. It was a beauty! The caterwauling was epic.
Im sure they were. This board is pretty entertaing for that as well.

No thats what Bills fans do. Nobody whines like you guys.

Yep. Love to hear Pat's fans meltdown when Jimmy G gets a SB win!!
Pats fans wont meltdown. Remember all the teams that played this weekend are trying to get where the Pats have already been 9x's.

Its playoffs let them play. Plus I think refs get a little hesitant throwing flags when qbs become runners. Maybe the next generation of refs will be more apt to make those calls.

Rooting for Tenn. would love to see Tannehill get a ring. Would also give Vrabel 4 rings which would be pretty cool.

BB resents not having final say.
Which begs the question .. why does he stay?
The world is against them even more all these years later.
I know BB does.
If BB wanted Jimmy that bad he could have signed him to a 5 year 100 million extension at the beginning of 2017 season and let Brady walk at the end of the season. Brady's cap hit was about 22mil before the extension.

He hasn't had a full allotment of picks is the point. And yes at the start Bill had less control. But by the time he built the core of the second era of the dynasty? From 2009 to 2015? He was in total control by then.
Bill has had total control since he was hired. If Kraft ever interfered with football ops Bill would walk.

That report has already been knocked down by Bill himself.
2017 offseason sf called the pats about a trade for jimmy g Bill turned it down. Sf at the same time asked about a trade for Brady. Bill basically laughed at them. After the sf inquiry pats went to Jimmy and offered him a 2 year 24 million guaranteed bridge deal which jimmy didnt want. They also gave brady a 2 year 40 million extension with a 30 million signing bonus. There was no way they could have franchised jimmy at 24 million for 2018 plus have brady at 23 million against the cap. Hence the trade at the deadline.

Sure believe that if you will
Lets hear your counter. There was no way they were going to pay 48 million for 2 qbs

No But I bet he is SUPER Pissed about having Brady and Kraft force him to trade Jimmy G.
Kraft and Brady didnt force that trade. It had to be done. There was no way to sign jimmy g. That was 100% Bills decision

If that’s the case then I’d expect him to trade for cam newton and possibly attempt to mimic what Baltimore is doing. They already have the personnel minus needing some tight ends.
Te is a big need no doubt. Unfortunately its a big need around the league

I wouldn’t put anything past him. At this point though I think he’s considering the end game more than a rebuild.
I think he is contemplating the quickest way to fix it. He has stated several times this year he is not ready to hang em up. I think the all time win record is important to him.

Very few head coaches have the ability to coach both sides of the ball anymore. I can think of a handful.
Belichick
Caroll
Harbaugh
Flores

I don't see that because Brady would be admitting that he's a lower tier starting QB with that paltry $$
Why are you shorting your team a title in your avatar? We all suffered through all 6... Might as well display them all
I cant see Brady at this stage wanting to start over with another system, plus who is going to give him a 2 year 50 mil contract.

Tre is going to get big money 16 per and worth every penny.

Do you think Brady will be back?
If he comes back it will be at BB's price. They have about 50 million in cap which includes the 6.75 he is on the books for. My guess is it will be about 16-18. I could also see bill going with stidham an allocating money to for depth on the oline, te and more receivers.

Heard it at the end of the regular season and they didn't disappoint with their performance against the Titans.
They will have shot again next year. The majority of the coaching in this league is awful. You dont have head coaches anymore you have glorified coorinators who pawn off the other side of the ball to someone else.

First of all, fix your avatar, will you? Your team has 6 titles. Once you update it it'll be good for about 20 years.
Second, I said in the text that you quoted that this is not about their careers overall. It's about 2020 and going forward.
I love talking NFL history. The Patriots dynasty is now NFL history. Good stuff to reminisce about in March and April before the current teams get underway.
I heard that in 2011 after they lost the sb. I heard it again after the went one and done against baltimore. Heard it again after the afc championship loss to denver.

It's not about careers. It's about where we are right now.
It's about the FACT that Josh Allen outplayed Tom Brady in the playoffs in a game played in 2020.
Patriots fans who post here will point to Brady's career. His Superbowl wins. His career passing stats.
They will be doing that a LOT over the next few years as they come to grips with the end of their run.
I love talking football history, don't get me wrong. This thread is about the present, though!
So... Brady is still great, but just needs weapons but Allen stinks? I mean, this Bills offense was loaded with talent, right?
Brady won the superbowl in his first starting year.

I'm trying to look that up. I don't remember the NFL ever having 3 WCs. I can certainly remember when there was only 1 and 3 divisions.
I could be wrong. Stay tuned ...
Prior to the division changes in 02. 3 div winners and 3 wildcard teams. Can you imagine what the afce would have been like if the colts had stayed in the division.

I know but think Kraft do almost anything to keep Tommy even fire BB if came down to it. Yet think Tommy rather move on maybe with McDaniels.
Kraft already stated that resigning Brady is Bills decision.

So what has happened since McDaniels jilted the Colts at the last minute?
At the time, the rumors I heard was that he had been given a timeline and a promise to take over the Patriots when Belicheck retired
My guess is Bellichick isnt retiring anytime soon.

I've heard this a few times over the weekend.
All's quiet on the Giant front with their coaching search.
It really adds up.
What does Jones know? What's he waiting for?
It's all so intriguing. I'm fine with an exodus of Patriot talent from the AFC East.Gettleman would have to get the boot.

That would be 14-1

I think Brady leaves.
The Chargers seem like the most logical destination. They desperately need to sell tickets, the team already has some pieces including an elite slot guy and excellent tight end in Keenan Allen and Hunter Henry, they have a very good running game and some pieces on defense. It seems like a much better situation than New England.
Other destinations could include Miami or Tampa. Both seem like good situations for him to walk into.
Miami I could see. Only a few hours flight to nyc. His new home is in Conn. the only thing with that is gailey's offense doesnt fit with his current skill set.
