They got midlevel/cheap contracts from CGJ, Zach Baun, and James Bradberry. They traded fpr Darius Slay in 2020 and have paid him under 15M APY.
The Bills aren't very good at drafting though and obviously won't have many high end picks as long as Josh Allen stays healthy

Wouldn't mind the draft pick cost at all but that contract is too steep IMO.

They are never going to. The defense will always be a disaster that stacks the game against Josh. He has to take that opportunity to win the game at the end only down 3. It will never be any better than that opportunity with this team

I'd be happy with this outcome but I'm skeptical. The Chiefs defense is so good and Josh has to be about perfect with no separation. Meanwhile for the Chiefs it's 10 yards a play pitch and catch. Hard to hang in with that

I was rallying the troops around here persistently and through a lot of doubt to draft him. I'm happy that we ended up with the right Josh instead, but Lamar is a really talented player as well.
