  1. Great interview.  Love his mind set. He is definitely an Alpha Dog.  Hope the Bills can help him develop better separation in his routes.  I have to admit that my initial reaction to the pick was WTF.  After more study on him I realize why I am a fan and not a GM or scout.  I am now cautiously optimistic and am now excited to see how this all shakes out.  GO Bills.

That could all be right, but I wonder if we as a fan base have come to be overly obsessed with WR.  KC has Rashee Rice who had a nice rookie year and just signed Brown.  They still have TE Kelce who was dominant in the playoffs.  You could be right that they will load up at WR, but if I were them, I’d fortify another position.  I think the Bills’ position is a bit different in that Diggs might be on the decline, whereas Rice and Brown are both young and Kelce could be near the end, but did not look like that when it counted last year.

I would think Ladd McConkey would be a great choice for KC, whereas I feel Bills need a WR like Mitchell or Thomas Jr to really take the top off from opposing defenses.  McConkey in slot with Mahomes would be brutal.  Mitchell with Allen would really open the whole field for Bills.

I'll be honest Mitchell and Legette's speed surprised me a little.  I think it cause Mitchell to move up and out of our reach. Yet Legette, hmmm I mean he seems to breakaway on tape but wonder about his short area quickness to get open but if hel fell to #28 I think I'd take him.

I don't think short area quickness is as much a concern as Bills have Kincaid and Shakir for that.  We need a guy that can get open long, can win contested catches and get yards after catch.  I'm liking Legette's game more and more, especially after the combine.

    He's had 122 defensive snaps.

One hurry. One sack, three pressures Five solo tackles and four assists. One tackle for loss. Two QB hits.

That's the basic reason, I think. He hasn't been impressive when he had chances. He's stuck out a few times but not often enough. He looked good in camp, but hasn't shown much since.

Does Settle have better stats through any 122 snaps played?

3 Cook fumbles was also an issue for sure.

Amazing game last week, had hope he would have built on that.

The injury report had Cook with "illness" for most of week.  I wonder if that might have influenced the fumbling.

Also, ever closer to getting DaQuan Jones back.  That will be a boost.

  6. Though I'd rather have Brown practicing, it does give the Bills the opportunity to see if they have an adequate replacement in training camp vs during the season.  Let's hope for the best for Brown, Crowder, and Tre.  I'm glad that other players are getting the opportunity to shine. It pays to have "reliable" depth.

The DL spots.  We have 12 and I think we get it down to 9.  I think Johnson, Zimmer and Butler get the axe.

I can see Johnson and Zimmer but, according to Spotrac,  Butler has a $6,000,000 dead cap that is almost $700,000 more than his cap hit.

  8. If Wallace was not re-signed, I would guess the # 30 pick to be a CB.  Now I'm not so sure.  The DE, DT, TE class does not seem to be that strong at pick 30 so I will not be surprised if the pick is one of top 3 RBs.  CB is still a good value at #30 though.  TE/ CB at 2nd round.  3rd; TE/CB.

  9. I believe the 2 seed will be playing the Ravens.  They have an easy schedule compared to Miami.  The 3 seed might have an easier game in Cleveland or Indy.  Even if Steelers keep the 2 seed, I could see them being eliminated in the first round which would give Bills second home game if they win their first round game.  If I were to make a guess, I'd say Bills will be the 2 seed facing Ravens who scare me somewhat, and Titans also.  Let's just keep winning and see where the chips fall.

  10. I like her.  She appears to at least ask intelligent questions as if she actually did some homework.  It’s a nice change from listening to all the old guys on the show who often times appear to be winging it.  I’m sure she is there to help bring in a younger audience.
I agree that Chris Brown is the best of the lot.

  11. I am probably oversimplifying this, but maybe the real problem is the 60/ 40 split of stadium ticket revenue.  Make it 80/20 and the owners will be more responsible to make their stadiums more profitable, however they see fit to make that happen.  If the Pegulas want to keep prices low, good for them.  If they want to build a new stadium and charge more, fine.  I’m sure they know exactly what each scenario will cost them.

  12. Maybe it's the last "Go for it season" and after the season ends, AB is gone (if he even makes it through the season) and more importantly, Brady retires.  I could see Gronk coming back for the last hurrah.  They could afford to wait til half way through the season to actually sign him (Gronkowski) to the active squad.

Bills just have to do their thing, get better, and shoot for the playoffs, one way or the other.  2020 may finally be the year the AFC east is wide open.  Go Bills.
