How are the Browns not on that list...they just fired their head coach.

Let's just not all pretend this is great news. It's a sad state of affairs when Derek Anderson is your starting QB in 2018.
He's not the starting QB in 2018, he's the backup to the injured starter.

Bills 20
Colts 14

Fix the o-line first...you can have the flashiest WRs and RBs, but it won't mean a thing if you can't block.

Nah, we already had a QB with a similar name once....Bobby Joe Silly Sally Cooter Hobert...or some such nonsense.

Is this rule only callable on the field?
That "ref" in NY City that helped the Pats last year with all those crucial catch/non-catch decisions last season can't call these, can he?
I sure hope not.

Thanks again everyone. I got us tickets in section 136 - Row 8. My son and I are really excited!
GO BILLS!!!
Great spot. We came up from South Carolina last year for the Bucs game in October. Sat at the 35 yard line in row 6. Great time weather wise also...here's a pic I took from my seat, it was a great view...

I came up from South Carolina for the Tampa game and that was easily my favorite for the reasons of sitting in the crowd and actually feeling the game atmosphere. I hadn't been to a game in years after moving away from WNY, so that made it even more special. Not to mention the fact that the game was back and forth and we won in thrilling fashion.

My favorite thing about watching Thurman Thomas run was his patience. One of the best at waiting for his lineman and set up their blocks. I remember one screen pass in particular in a playoff game against the Dolphins in Miami. He caught it and just kind of moved laterally until his lineman had a chance to catch up, then it was off to the races for the TD. The only one I know of today who can mirror this type of patience is Laveon Bell. Really fun to watch Thurman set it all up while the play is in action.

I'm interested to see how the new lineman work out. The center out of Cinci, the Raiders tackle we brought in, the rookie guard and how Groy will be played. Also, looking at the receiver spot. Maybe Reilly gets a decent look this year.

24 hours later, every vid I could find, numerous articles and a sad attempt at a work day, I can say that I am very happy with the Josh Allen pick. Rosen is too outspoken and abrasive at times for our new culture, no way he would've been the pick unless it was out of necessity. Mayfield was a surprise at 1 and we never had a shot at Darnold. Josh Allen has made an insane amount of progress since the senior bowl (which he looked terrific in). He is by far the most physically gifted QB in a draft full of potential starters. This will all come down to continued progress and coaching. He seems very motivated to prove to everyone he is legit, rising above the constant doubt and if this occurs, we may be seeing something incredible. Not just a franchise QB but a leader that can do things on a football field no other QB in the league has the ability to do. That's the type of ceiling Allen possesses AND we kept our other pick in the first.
Then used it for another player with this type of potential on our defense with Tremaine?! ?
I can't wait to see what they do next. This teams turn around will happen quicker than we think.
So happy to be a Bills fan today.
Lets enjoy this for once.. we're not a joke anymore.
TY McBeane ?
Haha, I was fairly useless at work today too....I was super happy last night and I'm surprised (not really I guess) at all this internet negativity. Oh well, not sad things shook out the way they did. Go Bills...let's get some help on the Oline today!

What? Please be more coherent. I'm going to disagree anyway. Beane panicked. Allen was going to be there at 12 without trading. A failure in my mind. He made up for that though with Tremaine Edmunds. Tremaine, if he can remain durable, might be a Hall of Famer.
I love that pick. Kid's only 19...as you said, if he stays healthy through his career, he can be a good one for us for a long time. He's definitely got the "Buffalo DNA", I just see it in his eyes.

It's not an accusation when he actually tweeted it for everyone to see; clear as day here. It's ok to take him, but my problem is that Beane gave up a lot to get him. He didn't have to. He panicked. Could have drafted him without trading anything. Best arm in the draft? No. That belongs to Baker Mayfield. Strong arm doesn't mean much when he's inaccurate.
Again, the kid was 14 when that happened, he's apologized and that's good enough for me, people make mistakes, especially when they're not grown. But you hold onto it if you want, free country.
I liked Mayfield, I'm glad he didn't get to the Jets, actually. But I like the Allen pick. I actually thought the opposite of you. I thought Beane did a great job of keeping our other first so we can get our stud linebacker. Oh well, I guess we have different lenses, enjoy the rest of the draft and go Bills.

Stop crying. Allen can defend himself, He's in the big boys league now. Sheesh.
Crying? You made an accusation. I disagree with your accusation. Sorry if you see that as "crying".
You're right, he is a big boy with a rocket arm. I love the pick. Best arm in the draft. Let's hope he becomes a great one for us.

I hated this pick, but it's cool with me now. I'm a Lamar Jackson, Josh Rosen, and Baker Mayfield guy even though we had absolutely no shot at Mayfield. Josh Allen is a Buffalo Bill now. His white racist butt better be able to play QB in this league.
No he's not a white racist. He made some stupid comments back when he was 14 years old. He owned up to it and apologized a bunch of times already. Sheesh, let it go already.
-
I loved the pick. Allen is who I wanted us to draft all along, lots of potential, here's hoping we have the next Jim Kelly. The fact that Beane was able to keep our other first round pick to grab our linebacker was just amazing. I love it! Go Bills!!!
