Another thing I want to comment on is that Beane has really done something very unlike him...which is to paint himself into a corner in the draft. Now the Bills have made it blatantly obvious that we need to draft wideouts, and early at that. What I'd like to see is for him to stand pat and draft a Legette, Mitchell, or Keon Coleman if he feels they are worthy of the spot they would be selected.

If Beane does decide to move up, then he better be absolutely positive he's getting a star because it's going to cost us alot this year and probably next as well

Beane also better hope the Texans don't beat us and advance further in the playoffs. That will make things even more embarrassing for a franchise that doesn't need anymore of that

    ALL OF THE ABOVE!

This was a rube move made by a Rookie GM.

    Gap Diggs?

    okay?

But don’t give him away for a few used GOAT deflated balls, cost your team a fortune, get nada in return and most importantly- do it BEFORE the Draft, rather than disguising it during!

Thereby getting the entire NFL to laugh at you when you come calling to move down for Odunze! And you better be getting an Odunze type after this situational FUBAR!

They didn’t lose because they kicked it deep. They went 44 yards in 2 plays. If you include the play before 13 seconds the Chiefs gained 108 yards in 3 plays scoring 10 points in like 20 seconds.

We are agreed that McD was catastrophically inept and ill prepared to defend 2 plays, even having his own TOs! He contributed nada!

But, you’re missing THE point. Squibb KO kicking reduces the balance of mathematical possibilities by 4-5 seconds to TWO plays! Defending ONE 40-45 yard Pass from Mahomes to be able to kick that FG!

The big issue was likely the deep kick. They would only have time for 2 plays not 3. But the Chiefs would’ve won on a Hail Mary touchdown pass anyways.

‘13 Seconds’ is totally on McDermott.

As I have posted before, the ONLY responsibility McD had was to impart what he wanted done on that ***** kickoff!

TO THE KICKER, FROM 3 INCHES AWAY, DURING THE TV TIME OUT, POST DAVIS TD!

    The ONLY thing!

And why? Because TIME was the only critical factor and burning 4-5 seconds to allow for only 2 remaining plays was everything!

McD was lost in the moment of supposed victory.

It was a HO Fame Failure… one of the two worst ever in NFL history; the other being Pete Carroll not giving to the Beast!

Where is all this negative talk about Josh?   I haven't heard it, but I don't watch or listen to many of the sports shows.

I've said over and over here that Josh needs to get better.  For all his extraordinary talents, what wins in the NFL is consistent execution of the play that is called, with the right choices and with accurate throws.   Mahomes and Burrows both are better than Josh in that category.  Where Josh excels is on the six to ten plays where things break down and you need someone to make a play.  Josh is outstanding then.  It's the other plays where he needs to be better.

On the first most critical Bills-Chiefs games, I have long ago made my decision about who was responsible for that HO Shame FUBAR- ‘13 seconds’!

    That’s ALL on McD.

But I am interested in your opinion on the second one- last January. The Bills took over with 8:23 to go and dink and dunked down the field over 16 plays and chewing up about 7 minutes. Up to 2:42 to go, they were executing the classic game management to beat Mahomes. Score with seconds or no seconds to go ala the @Ravens rain game a few years back.

And then, they lost their focus and collective minds. Because giving the ball back to Mahomes with 2TOs and 1:30 would have been asinine. oNLY Allen should have been running on First Down torun that clock down. And at the 2MW, the ONLY intention, should have been to make that final First Down and have the Chiefs burn their TOs.

Leaving the Bills, at almost worst- a short FG to tie or the killer TD with seconds to go.

My question. Was that Allen who deviated from that plan or if not, whom?

Why did they try and score on 2nd Down?

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dunno about you, but “in game excitement” wasn’t what I was shouting to my buddies when Gabe/Knox… insert your fav… clanged another one!

I think Josh Reynolds probably is the most likely acquisition. It's probably not going to be someone who's at a big time price tag like Hollywood or Ridley, effectively locking them in at WR2 for the price point we'd be paying.

Think this is correct. He’s 6-3. Love that.

And then Draft your guy in Round 1.

Worthy should be no where near our board for a trade up, or even at 28.  Do people realize he is 6'1 but only weighs 164 pounds?  What is going to happen to him when its snowing in Buffalo in the post season?  He cant block, he isn't physical, and his frame is going to have a hard time holding up to 17 game seasons.

There are literally guys who are big, with WR1 traits all running low 4.4 or sub 4.4 forty times...we need one of them, not a skinny guy who might get blown off his routes by the wind in Buffalo lol.

Nothing against Worhty, he makes a lot of sense for a team like Dallas.  But if we trade up for someone, it better be a top end WR1 type prospect.  Worthy doesn't have the frame for that kind of volume and work on all 3 levels of the defense.  He is better suited for a dome team like Dallas opposite a legit WR1 IMHO.

I make this point identical point EVERY year!

It’s Buffalo and you HAVE to play in the cold, in the wind, in the snow, in the sleet, from November through January!

    NEVER, EVER GET UNDERSIZED SMURFS!

  8. When I was about 12, I got very ill with pneumonia and a typical very high fever- a thing I finally grew out of. Except this time I hallucinated (because it was so high) and ran out into the 0F cold in mid February.

For about 20 minutes. Lay down in the snow, but someone was looking out for me. Ran back home, crunching through the snow. Spent 3 weeks in intensive care in Hospital, but to the amazement of everyone, all my toes… with gangrene.. were resurrected.

As a result, when I went to the AFC Divisional Game on January 15, 1994, I was VERY careful. I was dressed very well in the -30 temps and stamped my feet the entire game, including going into a warm tunnel beside the food stand.

They likely wanted answers for why we didnt squib kick with 13 seconds left, and why we played so far off Kelce, allowing him to go 20+ yards to get into field range in a matter of seconds.

    WHAT Bills fan didn’t?

in the most critical of moments, he failed… TOTALLY… at imparting the ONLY piece of required info! It was a space-time situation and he either didn’t have a clue that the only thing was to burn 4 seconds or he obviously failed to ensure that was accomplished!

    And then Kelce the failure!

ALL on him… never to be forgotten or forgiven.

To go on this year, to defend that impossibly foolish Hamlin fake Punt… just confirms his total inability to admit his own critical failures. If he thinks he can b.s. Bills fans after all these decades that many of us have witnessed, that’s just embarrassing… for him.

Had the Bills given up points after that fake punt and the Chiefs had gone up 2 scores, putting the ball in Hamlin's hands in that situation would have been right up there with one of the absolute dumbest calls in NFL history.

Don't get me wrong. Still a dumb call but it didn't really play into the outcome. Putting the ball in a guys hands that spent most of the year inactive and isn't even a returner who is used to having the ball in his hands and making moves in space is NOT doing all he can to help the team win.

How McClapper could even bring up that impossible idiocy- to even think about defending himself, shows how unfit he really is!

If you’re gonna try bizarro play, it : a) needs to be another 20 yards further down the field and b) never, ever in anyone’s hands not named Josh!

    THAT was Pop Warner coaching.
