  1. Fans hate it.  Players hate it.  Coaches hate it.

But the NFL makes money out of it.  So there, take that fans, players, and coaches. Put that in your pipe and smoke it while we fill our pockets with money.

It is plainly obvious that jetlag is a major issue to the game, and that it even puts players' wellness at risk.

When will this madness stop?  Never if we don't do anything about it.

I grew up in Amherst, life long Bills fan.  But now I live in Europe. (Ireland).  I gotta tell  you guys,  "American Football" as it's known here is seen as a silly little sport.  They make fun of the padding (compared to Rugby which has no padding).   Also people here see it as having WAY too many commercials.  It's actually ridicouls the amount of commercials there are, when you compare it with a Premiere League  Soccer match - and soccer is by far the biggest sport in Europe.   Games have NO commercials, except at halftime.  Imagine that.  The clock runs continuously.  So - as much as we love it, grew up with it and love the Bills, for people here it's  nothing more than a passing fancing; a silly game, with silly helmets.  Despite my trying to convince them otherwise!

I now live in Ireland too Dave.  But Ireland is not Europe, it's... Ireland!  😂   GAA (Gaelic football) and hurling, then rugby and soccer, will always be first and I agree it's unlikely "American Football" will ever catch up big time here.  And you're dead right, the overwhelming amount and length of commercials is a total turnoff here. However, Germany and England can be very very into it.  It will pick up there, and maybe some surprising countries like Spain.  That being said, I find the NFL expanding into Europe a pretty horrifying prospect.

PS: PM me Dave, wouldn't that be cool to watch a Bills game in Ireland!!!

draft a running back 2nd overall in a draft that featured 2-4 franchise QB candidates

Have you not seen what Barkley can do... even when every defense that plays the GIANTS plays basically against the run?!?!  The guy is an absolute monster and certainly someone to build a team around for many years to come.  The Giants were absolutely right in targeting him in the draft: he was a sure shot and is proving to even exceed their expectations.  They'll get a QB next year.

Well... Better than last week. I can see Allen just needs some more experience seeing where pressures coming especially. I'm encouraged by what I saw I think he's going to get a lot better as he gains more experience analyzing defenses pre snap.

I think McDermott took over the play calling in that 2nd half so it'll be interesting to see if there's serious heat on Frazier. The defense was better in the 2nd half.

Tremaine Edmunds was being picked on. He'll get better as he builds up his experience. Rivers really abused the rookie. As he sees more and more that misdirection stuff like that, he won't fall for it at some point and that'll be nice when the lights finally turn on there.

Special teams whewwww that punt that turned into a touchback was ugly... Idk why they didn't dead that ball asap it was inside the 5... Too greedy cost a nice field position switch.

The o line looked better... Still nothing stellar but better than last week. I think Allen also needs more experience setting up his protection hopefully the line gets better as they play more games together. That's really important in the trenches that chemistry and that's going to take time and live games.

I wasn't expecting a win here and I wasn't even really expecting this game to be close. I just wanted to see some improvement and I did to an extent. McDermott still had a long ways to go.

I kinda feel the same way.  Certainly happy by what I see in Allen.  But, goodness, this team has A LOT to work on...in EVERY facets of the game.  Long season ahead

    indeed!
