I'm sure that Daboll told his guys to target Brown, Oliver and Dawkins - guys who are hotheads and would likely take the bait.
No punches were thrown, and none of the actions rose to the level of being an intent to injure, so I was okay with the offsetting PFs.
Brown did leave the game after the cheap shots with some sort of injury, so it actually was more than pushing & shoving. 3 penalties to our 1 = offsetting? Might as well take a couple of cheap shots of our own if it’s all offsetting. The kicking incident definitely should have been a disqualification. It was numerous kicks, not just one. Funny, launching yourself at a defenseless player during game play can get you ejected, but not during a scrum. I just find it all interesting.

Francis & Kellen Winslow were two of the greatest reasons I played TE. Great player & great man. RIP

So how many Super Bowls did Brady win without Gronk? How many with Moss? Don’t act like poor little tommy didn’t have talent. He’s always had some above average offensive coordinators too. He also always had a top defense that definitely helps the offense. Remember Matt Casell winning a bunch of games the year Brady went down.
Point is, we don’t know the work Josh puts in, just like we don’t know how much work Brady put in. -
RIP Shawn. So sorry for your loss & the Mafia’s loss

Nice post. Made me go back & rewatch most of the game. Brown definitely wasn’t as bad as I first thought but Dawkins really struggled in my opinion. Both starting guards played well, but as much as I like Morse, he’s average at best. Tackle depth worries me but some of our younger guys had good moments against their 2nd & 3rd string. It’s early, so I’m going to be optimistic about our line. I personally have no problem kicking the tires on Jason Peters. Sure he’s old but if we don’t trust our depth, add him.
I may overreact at first but I live in central pa surrounded by arrogant steeler fans. Even though it’s preseason, losing like that to them sucks. Anyway, I know we’re sooo much better than we showed last night! Go Bills!!!- 1

1. Penalties. No excuses about schemes or game plans there. Just a total lack of discipline. Coaches need to hold players accountable along with themselves
2. MLB & OT are still a major concerns. Didn’t see anything that makes me feel comfortable about those positions moving forward

Seriously, what would it hurt to bring him in for a look? Don’t particularly care how old he is. If Brown can’t keep a 40 something year old from seeing the field, I think you have your answer about Brown.

Jim Brown & Walter Payton, the 2 best to ever play the position! RIP brother

White & Brown.
White has to regain his confidence & trust his knee. Maybe get some input from Von as to how to go about it .
Brown can’t use a missed off season as an excuse this year. I hope he becomes the player we need him to be. We definitely need to get lucky & have players on cheap contracts over perform.- 1

Same here. They would not budge. Also said nothing can be done until season starts.I called on Tuesday and they said they have nothing until the season starts. I can't cancel, can't negotiate a price like last year ($179)until they know the season is "on". Now I"m ticked.

My short list:
QB: Tyler Thigpen or Tarvaris Jackson - both mobile QBs with experience that can win a few games if needed
TE: Matt Spaeth - solid blocking TE with good hands; comes from a winning culture in Pittsburgh
OT: Tyson Clabo - nasty RT that is a bona fide starter
DE: Trevor Pryce - veteran 5-tech that can teach Dareus and lead in the locker room, plus he'll come cheap
LB: Kirk Morrison - solid-but-unspectacular inside LB, could be a perfect fit in a 3-4
Thigpen, Spaeth and Clabo would represent an absolutely successful offseason. Maybe not as flashy as some would like but definitely an improvement.

I believe based on his comments Chan does not run or believe future offenses should be traditional NFL-ish offense. In fact, if he had the players (like Kaepernick) his offense would be even less NFL - ish and more like the Pistol offense he prefers and Kaep ran for 4 years. Give me Kaep in the 2nd or 3rd round over Newton in the first any day. Newton is a newby, a hyped up neophyte who has played a dozen competitive games since high school. Ridiculous the hype the guy gets.

Now it's soccer?? He's been hit much harder than this. Seymour slaps the side of his helmet-he goes down like Monica Lewinsky.
Check out the "Ben slapped in face by Dick" comment.
the way i understand it, ben told seymour that he would be meeting his wife & momma in the bathroom after the game. that is why he B word slapped the rapist

Here's how I see things shaking out during Week 1:
Buffalo/Miami: In a hard fought battle where both teams play well, Buffalo escapes with a 24-23 win. An interception on Miami's final drive seals the victory.
New England/Cincy: A high scoring game with both offenses seemingly moving at will; however, the Bengals are able to win on a late TD Drive, mainly through the passing game. New England's young secondary showed that it has room to improve.
NY Jets/Baltimore: An ugly, defensive battle. The Jets lead 9-7 late in the 4th quarter, but a controversial pass interference call on Darrelle Revis sets the Ravens up for a chip shot field goal to win it.
So, after Week 1 concludes, the undefeated, 1-0 Buffalo Bills hold a one game lead over their three division rivals. Hey - this sounds plausible to me!
love it, sounds like a great way to start the season
