Preseason Tailgate for 8/20 Game against Giants

I'm looking into bringing my father-in-law up to the NYG@BUF game on 8/20 and wanted to know if you tailgate during preseason? Want to give him the full experience so let me know if tailgating is only done during the season. - Thanks
