My pick at 30 would be Michigan DT Kenneth Grant

Am I the only one who thinks this way?
I’m a sucker for any franchise that has dedicated fans and hasen’t won a championship. Detroit looks great, if we played them in a Super Bowl (and lost) it would be the first time I’ve watched a Bills Super Bowl in a losing effort and I wouldn’t be crushed, because I would be happy to see another fan base like Detroit’s to get theirs.
What’s not to like? They have good players, a likeable coach and a fanbase that deserves it.
All that being said…Bills by 10. Those sweet uni’s…and James Cook goes off. Also, McDermott takes pride in his defensive performances and you know that’s not happening twice.
Josh’s best performance of his career was last Sunday on the ROAD, against a quality opponent with no help whatsoever.
I think this is a “come back to earth” game for both teams but we see these guys again.
I'm with you on this about our defense but for me I will never say never the defense is going to have it prove it for me

Idk what it is but there's truly something special with this group.
I guess cutting all the dead weight, especially at WR has proven to pay massive dividends, not only in play but in the locker room.
17 just looks and feels like he's rejuvenated, guys are having fun, we suddenly have an influx of youth.
This will be the first of many SBs.
Here is Coop, who is a quiet, reserved guy , think he truly talks from the heart on playing with this group.
Something special is brewing, enjoy the ride, can't wait to go to my 2nd bills game ever 12/27. Still hyped over the big dub
the best thing we ever did was getting rid of our locker room cancer know josh can do his thing

On that last series?
I was really stunned. I don't think I've ever seen a coach do that. You run it 3x, make the Texans use their TO's and punt if you don't get the first, right? Am I missing something?
the only thing you're missing was the phone call to Brady to not do that

Yeah that’s correct. Honestly, I’m not sure Pegula can fire him. He’d have to ask McD if it’s ok to fire him. We all know Terry has no sack and the Dragon Lady is no longer around to kick Terry in the dick and get this thing turned around
smooth glasses wearing Terry is to busy watching tennis

The good:
Coleman, drop aside, was very good. Good body control on those sideline throws.
Shakir ruled
The meh:
Defensive line
The bad:
Cam Lewis is not worth a roster spot
Torrence is becoming a real concern out there
I’m at the end of the line with Bass-O-Matic, the misses are so egregious that it’s not defensible anymore.
I have said that all year and last year Cam Lewis should not have a roster spot if you see he misses a lot of tackles the guy has his head down when trying to make tackles

I have the same concern at WR as you do and was hoping it wouldn’t come to this. But as pressures as Josh was today there were also times when no one was open downfield and this is a major concern to me.
Shakir is a good receiver but outside of him, you have a bunch of JAGs at WR. Coleman is a rookie so I’ll give him a pass. But the Bills are getting nothing from Samuel, MVS or Hollins at WR.
The lack of overall talent at WR bit them in the ass today and I worry it becomes a trend this year
the bills have given the rest of the nfl the playbook on attacking us

Bright Spots:
1) DeWayne Carter made some great plays on the goal line stand.
2) I think we will see our offensive scheme morph some now. It has to expand beyond the short stuff, and I think it will now.
we haven't gotten anything from Smoot and Austin Johnson

The only good thing the defense did last night was stoping Henry from getting two hundred yards of rushing, they wanted badly for him to have something else to rub in our face.

Milano isn’t in a brace, for what it’s worth.
I think we still don’t see him until Dec.
Bernard, who knows.
I am concerned about Bernard he seems to get injured a lot before this year injury his production was low

yeah that's the trade off

we do not need to panic, let Beane do his job and we will see where we are when the season ends. I say the more the merrier lets make these mid level guys have to step up their game and if that happens he will be executive of the year.

Dude is injury prone and looked completely washed last year. If you want to challenge Mahomes, sign a veteran CB for depth and sign/start Simmons opposite Bishop.

Shame. While athletically maybe he's not what he used to be...he's super smart out there. Pre-snap he can foresee some plays based on how opponents line up...and helps direct where our defenders should be.
And still can't get there in time or stop the play

Really? After last nights 6 catches 105 yards and a TD performance?
Yes because he'll go missing for at least 4 games which is essentially the rest of the season

In fairness to Josh, this is the type of thing that only becomes an issue, or even a thought, when we are losing and things aren't going well.
If we are undefeated right now and Josh looks like the MVP, no one is talking about his summer time golf.
It does seem like he isn't as committed as he could be. Most guys at this level are not.
What you said makes absolutely no sense

McDermott is not good enough to be head coach and DC he has terrible game management Beane was just looking at bottom line when he allowed this so they both should be fired along with the rest of Carolina east coaches

Why must the same mistakes be made over and over and over again? Is there any accountability for the players and coaches?
Examples:
1. Gabe Davis fumbles against NYG 2 weeks ago, because he failed to shift the ball from his inside hand to outside hand. He did the same thing today, in the second quarter. This is basic, fundamental football.
2. Taron Johnson: how many weeks in a row has he committed a crucial penalty on 3rd or 4th down?
3. How many times does McDermott need to see Taron Johnson get beat on the same play in the end zone?
4. Dorsey, and his affinity for the shotgun on 3rd and short plays, deep in enemy territory. Second time in 3 weeks.
5. The horrible job on the Hail Mary - again. Got burned on Hail Murray, and almost inexplicably, the very next week (maybe the Chargers?)
6. Dumb penalties, poor tackling and lack of discipline.
Why did McDermott have the offense take its foot off of the gas after the score became 24-10? With this defense - its lack of playmakers and anemic pass rush - the margin of error will be thin, so it's imperative that the offense score early AND often. This game shouldn't have been close.
You couldn't have written this anymore eloquently

Prior to today, I thought maybe a big acquisition before the deadline could save this season. But now I don't think 1 guy isn't going to do it. And the core group of this roster is toast. A lot of aging starters with big contracts that will need to be replaced in the next two years. The Bills need to be acquiring picks because the drop-off is coming fast.
Hey listen let's not be afraid of transparency name names Davis is not getting it done Knox and von Miller aren't either

More often than not that's how people think.
Nobody's talking about this but McDermott is not that good of a coach to coach defense and head coach one got to go

I knew chargers were bad when JC Jackson pushed on a hail Mary at end of first half then the knuckle head brings it out and gets tackled at 3 after interception

Saffold had a great career and was one of the top Guards in the NFL, but injuries took their toll. Am I allowed to bring that up here or is only hate allowed?
No you're not allowed to bring that up who cares what he was or did before he came to us.
What is your draft doomsday scenario?

I just think we have to shore up that defense, no matter what even if the first three picks are defensive. We have to admit and this has nothing to do with what eagles did to KC because this is such a copycat league we only have to look at the last three or four playoffs performances what killed our chances, THE DEFENSE we owe it to Josh to put the best we can put out there on defense.
