Sounds like Foster came into camp expecting to start and maybe got down/frustrated/upset to see he had to earn it and McD is working to teach the young player the all important mental side of the game and commitment.

The fact McD is publicly talking about it to me sends a signal they believe in the kid and working to teach him how to be a pro more than anything.  People forget Foster worked hard this offseason too as he was wherever Josh was working out with him this offseason.

I think Foster is going to be a big part of this offense still and McD is focused on getting this kid in position to teach his potential.  John brown and Cole are the perfect Vets to be around for him too in that WR room

Exactly... that’s even a better reason than the one I came up with as to why his body language is the way it is... I swear u can’t win with Bills fans sometimes... Almost to the point where they WANT to be depressed cuz they’re so used to it... Some are so quick to get rid of the best running back we’ve had since Freddy and now they’re losing their mind over Fosters body language and dropped passes in “practice”...

Like we said, the same people are forgetting that this is the SAME person who stayed with Allen in the offseason to get better smh...

Agree it is too early to worry, but as I recall, Foster made the initial 53 based on his camp performance and then was cut based on poor performance and lack of focused effort.  It is disappointing to see him take a step back.

Yeah somebody else brought it to my attention that he got cut after making the 53...that was my mistake as far as that information goes...

You'll give me a verifiable fact?  Big of ya! ?

Everybody is out there in the same freakin' heat, including John Brown who has a bona fide genetic condition that makes him more susceptible to heat, exertion, and dehydration.

It's NFL football, Man.  Yes, he did everything right this off-season, but when the coach calls you out in a presser and says you need to "evolve", you better make a change, especially if you're later seen making a concentration drop from the second string QB.

Meanwhile if you don't, there are guys behind you who would love to have your spot.

U just being slick... where I was raised when we say “I’ll give u that” it just means I admit my mistake n I give u the credit for bringing fact to the table on the topic... I don’t waste time chit chatting with arrogant mofos... peace

Um incorrect.  Foster made the team last year and got cut after the 6th game "that counted", because he was making route running mistakes and on his deep routes, not contesting for and even not catching balls that went right through his hands.  After about a month on the Taxi Squad and an attitude adjustment, he came back refocused and contributed.

This year, we've seen Foster fail to adjust/contest for a couple deep balls (his bread and butter) and make at least one mistake lining up that Allen called him on.  People who are there have also commented on body language.  I don't think McDermott is calling him out in a presser because it's "way out of proportion" - that doesn't seem like McClappity's style.  He's concerning the coaching staff.

I’ll give u that... Either way, we’re talking about the same person who stayed in Buffalo after the season to get his game stronger are we not? He did everything right in the offseason and now after 3 “practices” people think he’s called it quits or something...

It can be a hundred different reasons his body language is the way it is... maybe he got girl issues, maybe he’s going through emotional stress, depression, heat, who the Hell knows? Knowing coach, he’s very close to his players and I’m sure we’ll find out if it’s a cause for concern sooner rather than later... but nothing McClapClap said makes me think it’s over for Foster... My own personal opinion is the heat more than likely has him exhausted. But as I said, we don’t know for sure...

  5. Everybody really needs to chill out with the Foster thing... he got cut last year because he didn’t produce during camp... but when the games counted the boy showed up... we’ve been fans of players long enough to know that not every player balls during practice...

Is it an interesting topic? Sure... Being blown way out of proportion? Absolutely... Relax y’all...

  6. Reddit is the place to watch those preseason games live if it’s not shown Live on TV...

I live in Queens N.Y. so I understand why I don’t get Bills games live every Sunday. But I never understood how people who live in Buffalo sometimes can’t view the game cuz it was “blacked out”... What kind of foolery is this?

Yup, I just bought my ticket for the Bills game in Nashville and got the exact same thing. I hate mobile only ticket but I used to do a screenshot so I didn't have to worry about internet connection or App not working when it's time to get into the stadium. They're making this more complicated every year. Soon we're going to get in the stadium by voice recognition or digital print.....

    Cool thanks

Is the delivery driver driving like 5 mph from Mexico or something?

Supposedly it was held up for inspection and the dealer said that if somebody tried to order the same model that I did, that there’s a 6 month wait... Idk how much truth there is to that but I can tell you that I’m on the road everyday. I drive for a living and I’m yet to see a 2019 Toyota RAV4 xse hybrid anywhere... I see a lot of XLE models but not the XSE...

  9. Super excited to watch this defense... Ed Oliver with Hughes (will be super fun to watch as long as McDermott keeps Oliver on the right side of the line), Shaq Lawson playing for a new contract, media saying Trent Murphy looks disruptive (I will have to see it to believe it), the linebackers continuing to build connection (with new LBers drafted also), our cornerbacks continuing to shut down receivers and Hyde and Poyer (best safety duo in the league imo). Sheesh... Can’t wait...

  10. I can feel the pain of a long offseason some of you guys have been feeling cuz I used to feel that way... Me personally though, just been enjoying this summer... It would be better if my damn Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid would arrive already smh... Been waiting over a month n a half... If your offseason wait is as impatient as I am with this new car, then I feel your pain...

    People still play Madden?

I played all of madden 19... I am NOT playing 20 because I don’t have time... I play Madden Ultimate Team so there are way too many objectives to do and cards to collect and I just don’t have the time...

But from 1st hand experience I can tell you that Madden ratings are based on popularity plain and simple... They change ratings and drop better cards throughout the year based on “performance” but to me that isn’t true because Milano was playing lights out yet never got recognized by Madden, Tre White May get beat every now and then but overall is a shutdown corner yet his card always sucked, Tremaine Edmunds never got an upgrade. That’s why it’s all about who people are talking about on social media and other outlets instead of performance...

Last time I went, I was jumped on a sidewalk by 3 dudes and knocked out cold at 2AM Saturday night for wearing a Bills hat (Fire Department woke me up with smelling salt). Concussed, I still went to the game the next day.... The Music City Miracle. Worst weekend of my life. PASS!

Damn... That’s a pretty rough weekend...

I can't believe all of the stupid in this thread.  All y'all probably agonize when it's time to buy a new pack of underwear. What if my favorite color isn't available? What if the cotton crop wasn't as soft?  Do these make me look fat?

Things freaking change.  This is an interesting idea and I, for one, am fully on board for an additional 2 meaningful games.

All this bitching and moaning is likely coming from fantasy geeks.

Damn dog I think I agree with u but u gotta calm down brother... This just a forum homie...

  14. 18 games is cool... Player restrictions? Not so much... it’s interesting though I’ll give it that... It would lead to more young men getting an opportunity to play in the NFL...

They definitely would have to increase the roster size and practice squad for it to work that’s for sure which goes back to what I said about more players having an opportunity to play...

My initial thoughts on it is, I don’t like the pitch... With more thought put into it and a different pitch, it can be intriguing...

    You obviously do not golf.

Do I need to be a hamburger to know what it takes to make one?

The word is athlete... How is a golfer an athlete?

    3 hours ago, Boatdrinks said:

Try to stick an 8 iron shot within 5 feet of the cup from 150 yards, then ask yourself if you’ve just made an athletic move or not.

I’d consider that “skill” like a card trick or a magic trick... Is there a workout you NEED to do in the gym to be a better golfer? I’ll answer that for you don’t worry... The answer is no... You can eat pizza every day and gain all the weight in the world but as long as you have the “skill”, you can golf...

How about table tennis players?  Are they athletes?

That could be debatable... The pros move around quite a bit and if you’re out of shape you definitely can’t be “the best” so I guess I would consider the pros athletes, yes.

    LOL at this.

    I laugh at golf also...

  16. I’m only 41 years old (today actually)... O.J. was before my time... I only know him for The Naked Gun series and The Glove Don’t Fit episodes... His thoughts on the Bills has no value for me...

That whole he’s super charismatic thing is what makes me love the fact that I grew up in NYC... The 1st time I ever took a road trip towards Buffalo, I thought everybody there was plotting to kill me... Everybody was just too damn nice...

  17. I don’t drink alcohol but I used to.

I grew up without much money as a minor but as an adult I made an ok living...

If I wanted to hit a bar every week and spend 200 bucks it wouldn’t of hurt my pockets at all but yet every time I drank, I chose to go to the liquor store or just beer from a store n drink at home either alone or with company...

I never understood why someone would pay 8 dollars for a shot of cognac or vodka in a bar when it would’ve costed them pennies or a few nickels at best if they just bought a bottle from the liquor store...

In famous people’s situation, I understand that they have to show face in certain places but if you’re just looking to have a fun time, why not just throw a party at your house or rent someplace? You have the money for it... Why do famous people get into situations in places where any lunatic can be just doesn’t make sense to me...
