Bills should've never hired Rex when Kyle Orton made his defense look like a disaster... TWICE.
and made Fitz this year look like Montana!

Criticism will go on incessantly until changes are made. And changes need to be made But for the media morons to rage on about punting from their own 41 are idiotic. In our fan brains we want the glorious "go for it" , make it and drive down to score. In the real world we get stopped on fourth, Miami gains ten yards and kicks a field goal to win. Rex is then fired for his stupid decision to go for it. Just pointing out the two faced stupidity of the media. They are so ballsy on their keyboards
How many timeouts did the Bills have? If they had full time outs, then punting is the better option. However, if they had no timeouts, then they had to go for it. No way the bills get the ball back with enough time on the clock. Especially when we have seen the 2 minute offense this year.

Three fireable offenses:
1- Rex Painting his Jets truck Bills Blue.
2- Rex eating dog biscuits in pre-season and convinicing Pegula to do so
3- Rex wearing a Clemson helmet at a press conference
Three signs Bills should have never hired Rex:
1- He has a Sanchez tattoo
2- He has a Jets Truck
3- He loves sucking toes
Three signs Bills need to fire Rex:
1- He guaranteed the playoffs
2- His defense sucks
3- He hired his big fat brother to this mess

Not defending Rexy's punt because obviously the outcome shows he should not have. But this board cracks me up. Had Rex gone for it and they failed Miami needed about one first down to kick the winner. You do understand that right? The greatest Monday morning qb's in the world - sully- TBN- this boards posters - Would be ROASTING Rex for not punting instead. Roast away armchair experts!!!
I disagree. I dont know how timeouts work in OT, but when I saw 4rth down with 4 minutes, I was thinking punt in order to get Miami deep in their zone. I was also thinking about going for it. Either way, it didnt bother me. What killed me was the 39 yard punt to the 20. JESUS! This team is disfunctional at all levels. They had to pin them on the 5-10 yard line.

But you can't change the entire Defense, so they have to decide on SG due to his contract status. The price tag greatly exceeds the value, and the guy brings almost no intangibles to the table. The Bills should pass on SG and spend those $ elsewhere.
Good post. Not sure what some on here see what he brings. Good for him that he will make his money and have a good life. I just don't his passion for the game. The will to win. And yes, once again he got injured again.

Under different circumstances signing Gilmore to a big deal would make sense but given how poor this defense is the money might be wisely spent elsewhere. This defense is just too slow all over but noticeably at OLB. And the safety position needs a significant upgrade.
Preston Brown is not a good football player!

Lot of players not feared on this team but some get protected I guess and others tossed under the bus
No one on this team other than McCoy deserve to get protected.
-
Good luck replacing a corner like Gilmore. It won't be easy, but let's run him out of town because he wants to get paid.
I wonder which games you watch on Sundays.
No one fears the Great Gilmore.
-
Yeah cause it worked with Marrone ans ooo so well with Giants last 5 years
It did work for Marrone.
Best coach the Bills have had since Phillips.
BTW, I couldnt care less for Coughlin.

Its a general topic. Your not even remotely important enough for this to be directed at you!
It's a general topic. You're not even remotely important enough for this to be directed at you!
Fixed!
BTW....Rex the blowhard, SG24 the softie, MD99 the dope smoker, Carp the hippie, Schmidt the shi.t all need to go.
-
Well, thank God for small favors.
Nothing "small" about Rex Ryan!
-
Great story! Coughlin is the ahole that the Bills need to steer the ship!
-
who was at home?
-
Nevermind top 10-15. Gilmore is around 20-30 in the league.
Some teams stay away from him because Darby is not as good....However, this doesnt mean Gilmore is good!
-
Cut both Carp and Schmidt.

Whatever you think about Byrd...his business sense is incredible. He managed to take his luck of developing plantar fasciitis and use it to take a good part of a season and turn it into a crapload of money.
Just read the whole thread to see if anyone mentions the last year with the bills where he hardly played because of his plantar issue. sure enough, the last post mentions it.
I dont care about him. Enjoy the money!

Sometimes I wonder if it had been better if the team moved to another city.

BB knew what he had in Brady was special because in year one they kept FOUR QB's so Brady could develop as he was a raw talent back then. Year 2 he went from 4th string QB to the primary Backup and in week 2 he took over. The first 2 years as a starter the Pats had him as a game manager and by year 4 on the team he blossomed. So yes he was patient with Brady and allowed him to develop while having the D and RB carry the team.
As for why not draft him in the 1st round, they had a franchise QB who had started a SB and numerous playoff games.
Seriously...should we expect anything less from a Pats Fan? Give me a break. I just vomited.
They ran so much in his second year that his 601 pass attempts are his 5th highest in 16 years. As a matter of fact, his stats blossomed once the NFL became a passing league. His 2nd year stats are the same as year 4. JUST SAYING! Well, I'm not saying...The stats are saying:

Difference between Catholics and PatsFan? Nothing, they preach what they think is true!
Just for the numb to understand...BB is a joke and Brady is the man. In his second year he passed 601 times and had 28 TDs vs 14 Ints. That is phenomenal.

BLEDSOE GOT HURT!
And the BIlls thing to do...go get Bledsoe!
A coach is only as good as his QB. IF BB was such a great coach, why didnt he play Brady from the start? Why didnt they draft him in the first round?
Good for him,,,but at the same time...EFF HIM!
-
Lets do the math:
BIlls have number #9 and Cleveland #4. Bills swap picks and draft Sammy. They also give first round draft pick the next year.
So, lets take it slowly. Had they not made the trade, they would have drafted in the first round and would have had their first round pick the next year. Howevery, they swapped First round picks and traded first round the next year.
LETS DO THE MATH: They gave up 1 FIRST ROUND PICK! NOT 2. Not sure why its so hard to understand this.

what a fabulour interview he gave. This guy is gonna be rewarded by winning as a coach down the line. hes too intelligent not to.
On the other hand, here is mr. Brownie himself with a terrible locker room interview. Night and Day versus KW

when I drink and drive, I drive slower. Maybe he was doing the same. So much so, he fell asleep!
-
that's a weird way to do it in general. maybe i've been doing it wrong?
in all my years of practicing...I've never found a wrong way of doing it!

No Nucci. Excuses run rampant in Bills land!

Hard to believe isnt it?
Yet, the FIRE REX POLL had posters wanting him to Stay another year!
