Ha! Yeah I've heard that before. The wingnut thing got me though
Wingnutz is a very popular wing spot in Buffalo. They're about to open a third location at the old Santora's Restaurant.

A source told NYUP and Syracuse.com that Buffalo will be hosting Tennessee Volunteers offensive tackle Darnell Wright on a top-30 visit.
Wright is considered one of the best tackle prospects in this year’s draft... Wright recently had his pro day at Tennessee and the Bills were in attendance to get an up close look at the prospect. In terms of his athletic traits, Wright has been compared to future Hall of Fame tackle and former Bills tackle Jason Peters.
In his career at Tennessee, Wright played in 47 games and recorded 42 starts while recording over 2,700 total offensive snaps. He made 27 starts at right tackle, two starts at right guard and 13 starts at left tackle. In his final 19 games with the Volunteers, Wright went without allowing a sack.
Wright earned unanimous first-team All-SEC honors as selected by the Associated Press and coaches this season and continued to raise his stock at the Reese’s Senior Bowl where he was named the American team’s OL Practice Player-of-Week. The award was voted on by his peers on the American defensive line and linebacker groups.
“Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson, a likely top-five pick, says that Tennessee’s Darnell Wright is the best OT he faced in college.”
Is he out of reach? It seems with these credentials the Bills would have to trade up to get him.
Appreciate you sharing out my work, but please remember to add a link to the article in the future. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2023/04/source-buffalo-bills-to-host-tennessee-ot-darnell-wright-on-top-30-visit.html

I'm not sure Ryan Talbot is that reliable as a source. Who are his sources?
The Bills DL is looking kind of crowded -
DE - Miller, Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham
DT - Lotulelei, Jones, Oliver, Settle
We have some developmental guys and we should consider picking up another 1TDT if we want to move on from Lotulelei - but Jordan Phillips is NOT a 1TDT
I think he's pretty reliable.

Fusion on Main in Allegany. Great food there too.
GREAT recommendation. The food at that restaurant is great as are the owners.
I appreciated John Nord's suggestion of my place as well.

@RyanTalbotBills Great article that I thought would create some good dialogue here. In all actuality though, do you think it’s realistic for Bennett to go on the Wall in 2019?
I think there would be some major backlash given the off the field stuff that happened in Buffalo year ago.
I think it's fair to assume Bennett has a while to wait. He almost joined the Wall a few years back when Van Miller was selected, but I believe that was before the Pegula regime. The article was based solely on on-field performance which is why I had him at No. 1.
-
Appreciate the article being shared. I agree that it is confusing as to why Butch Byrd has not been added to the Wall. He was the recipient of the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Distinguished Service Award back in 1994, but many of the other winners have also been named to the Wall of Fame.

UAB DL Quindarius Thagard is another player joining the Bills' 90-man roster. His signing should be made official tomorrow.

Dawson Knox wants 88 which is available to my knowledge.
Ed Oliver wants 91. Kyle Peko currently has the number, but Oliver could buy it off of him.

They didn’t have Fant in on a visit that I have seen. They went to Iowa to work him out.
Where did you see the Fant visit reported?
Fant didn't come to Buffalo for a pre-draft visit. We (NYUP) reported Buffalo held a private workout with him. He confirmed it yesterday.

Where is he protected to go? I’ve heard good things but wasnt sure
Dane Brugler of The Athletic has projected Howard as a third round pick, but I could see him going earlier than that.

Tytus Howard (Alabama State OT) tells NYUP he'll be making a pre-draft visit with Buffalo.

I wouldn't be surprised if Talbot invented the "exec" to state his own opinion.
I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't read the article (because you clearly didn't).
These quotes from executives, general managers, etc. were given to ESPN+'s Mike Sando. At least Gugny got to the byline.

All three quotes from the ESPN+ article are presented in full.

Anything written by a Talbot is junk. Once I saw the By line, I instantly stopped reading.
The quotes came from an ESPN+ article. That said, thanks for reading (to the byline)!

I won't link it as I don't want to promote my own work, but NYUP's draft tracker is up to date and will be updated whenever news is reported. In addition to pre-draft visits and private workouts, we also have information on prospects that the Bills have reportedly reached out to/shown interest in.

not an OBD visit - must be at the college
Correct. It's one day after his pro day.

Didn’t he just sign a big deal like last year?
Yes, but it wasn't with the Rams (as Forbes said).
Also said the Giants were prepared to make Andrew Norwell the highest paid guard in football.
The latter part was expected, but once again he had the team wrong. Perhaps Forbes just has bad sources when it comes to the Giants.
There was also this post when he claimed Matt Paradis wasn't well liked in the Broncos locker room...
Which was ripped apart by Paradis' former teammates.
Like I said, he throws a lot out there hoping something sticks. An earlier post by Forbes said the Bills were interested in Saffold, Glowinski (before he re-signed), Mitch Morse and Daryl Williams. Considering Buffalo's need for OL, he's taking a shot at the Bills landing one of them so he can claim to be first with the news.

I'd take anything Forbes says with a grain of salt. He throws a lot at the wall hoping for something to stick. Last year he said the Rams were trading for Odell Beckham Jr. and paying him $100 million. That said, Saffold would be a nice get for the Bills.

ok, i'm gonna respond now even before i read the whole thing. point no.1.....
barkley is likely to find a good paying spot that may give him a chance to even start. he ain't getting that here and i doubt the bills get him back. that being said,
if there were any brains in the brain trust, they'd bring in chad kelly now or the day after the season ends. if they lose barkley, they will be forced to draft a qb with one of their picks or dumpster dive. get kelly in buffalo and get him concentrating on turning his life around and do it before it's too late.
i can absolutely see this team going into april with only allen on the roster and there's no need for that. get kelly asap and it won't cost a dime to have him around and see if he can put things together. there's no qb in the draft ( where we would probably take one) that's even close. the pats will take him if we don't. this is the time for this fo to get ahead of the game.
edit: thanks 26! a great read and thread. i will read every post but i think i could do a much better job than talbot. his take seems like an off the top of your head luke warm fan effort...for lack of a better description. i want his job.
edit 2: i think we'll see more things shape up by week 17...like...levi wallace and we don't have to go corner high. i actually thought lewis played very well.
mike love may ease our minds at edge. i'm excited to see him play.
i have full confidence in mcbeane as far as the draft and fa go. ...so long as they learned something about qbs....see above
With ideas like these, it's only a matter of time before you take my job. Thanks for checking out the article.

32 minutes ago, thenorthremembers said:Hey thanks for responding. I think you'll be surprised how much Tyrell Williams ends up getting. Wide outs are getting paid a ton and he may be the top wideout in this year's class. I can see him getting 14 million a year easy, especially with the cap going up to 190.
Paradis is an 11 million to 12 million dollar a year player and Daryl Williams should command 8 to 9.
They are each, the top or at the top at their position for available free agents.
Tyrell Williams could get more money than I expect. I'll respectfully disagree with you on Paradis. He is coming off of a one-year, $2.9 million contract in Denver. Throw in the fact that he's coming off of a serious injury and I think he'll come at a more reasonable price. Daryl Williams could be in demand depending on how comfortable teams feel with his knee.
