  1. I lost Garoppolo and I have Keenum. My team is a beast and Im 3-0. I think The qb position will be my Achilles heel and ruin everything if i dont make the right decision. Should i go week to week and hope for match ups or stick with one of the guys below? I was kinda feeling Tannnehill but its a divisional match up against the pats and Brady is pissed and will probably take it out on Miami. Im kinda down on flacco, bortles and manning can ruin a fantasy day in one quarter. Was thinking of putting stock in one of the youngsters. Any way I appreciate and info you give. Thanks

    Tannehill

    Flacco

    Bortles

    Allen

    Manning

    Trubisky

    Mariota

    Mayfield

  2. So I have a choice between Kareem Hunt in the 3rd, Christian McCaffrey in the 4th or Stefon Diggs in the 14th which I think would be a real steal but not my top guy.  I don't know how other keeper leagues work but we are only allowed to keep one and you lose your pick for previous year drafted round of the guy you keep. So its who gets you the most bang for your buck rather than who is your top guy.

I'll be the only one in a Jason Witten home jersey.

Screw you man, you cant go. Don't you think you did enough damage back in 2007 on a Monday night!!! I was there and screaming this ones in the books and my family and friends have never let me forget it.

Someone on here pointed out to me last year that the Bills(or maybe it was Ralph)did not prefer to have home prime time games due to logistics, our fans across the border, and some other things that I guess did make sense, logically speaking.

But damn that.  I want a home Sunday night game AND I want a home Monday night game.  I will take any opportunity to see the Bills play on primetime TV, but I'm freaking tired of our only primetime game being on Thursday night, and either at the Jets or at the Patriots(somehow always after their bye).

I've only had the privilege to attend one Monday night game, and that was back in 2007, vs the Cowboys.  We all know how the game ended, but I kid you not when I say that Ralph Wilson Stadium was absolutely BANANAS....the white towels waving, 70,000 + screaming fans...the stadium literally shook...I have never been a part of something so electric, so infectious...the crowd alone almost willed us to victory.

I want some more of that.  And I feel like we will be rewarded this year with a home Monday nighter, but I'm expecting a home Sunday nighter as well..

I was there also and your right, it was the most electrifying game I had ever been too. The crowd was ridiculously loud and even though we lost it was one of the most memorable games I have ever been too. I lost my voice that night screaming Romo Homo.

I agree with you. I still think Ducasse and Mills are terrible.

The reason why the Patriots can throw together 5 undrafted or mid round pick guys and no one gets a sack is becuas Brady.

Tyrod often scrambled into sacks and was generally really terrible in the pocket.

If he would have throw the ball he wouldn't have been sacked. Problem being is he sat in the pocket to long staring down receivers that were open. Don't get me wrong the guy got us to the playoffs but he would often look off receivers that were open or would have been open.

  6. Ok so I read your post that they didn't delete and all I have to say is wow. Anyone reading that would think TIMMY!!!! or you had a little to much. Maybe next time just gather your thoughts before posting. Be honest with yourself and read your post and ask your self..... does this even make sense. This is the internet buddy get over it.

The best thing about the history of QBs selected in previous drafts is that none of it is relevant. Every draft, every prospect, every situation he is drafted into is its own unique set of dynamics.

The only commonality that matters is the level of conviction a particular team has towards a particular prospect and whether that conviction is enough to warrant the investment in the pick.

    Good post, that makes sense.

Why are we better off spending 15m on a qb and drafting two second tier guys instead of signing two vets and trading up for a cheap rookie qb?

at least the rookie stands a chance of being the guy. Keenum or McCarron? Meh.

Because the odds are against you. When I get the time I'll go and see how many qb over the years that panned out when a team moved up to get them. I guessing it's a extremely short list. Could the impossible happen, yes it could but do you really want to waste all those picks if it doesn't. We are too high on the board to reach that far down.

All I hear is that we shouldn’t hire the OP to scout

Your not quite getting what I'm saying hear. If you look back in history a lot of these guys were suppose to be sure things. Great arms, athletic, good foot work, accurate, are a few of the words used by the media, scouts and analysis over the last 17 years and most of these guys haven't panned out. There is no real good way to find out which guy is going to breakout or bust if you look back the last 17 years. It's really is a crap shoot.
