  1. Why are folks acting like pub financing is new or unique?

2004: In April, the Cowboys announced plans to build a $650 million stadium at Fair Park in Dallas. The deal required $425 million in public financing from a 3% hotel-occupancy tax and a 6% car-rental tax.

  2. Mahomes, give yer balls a tug. Yeah, it was a nice play that Kelce made. Unfortunately, your guy was offside - end of story - deal with it. I could go on ad nauseam in this forum about nice plays the Bills have made only to be called back for some ticky tack reason. Usually it’s not something egregious like standing a foot and a half off side when all you have to do is ask the referee if you’re OK.

  3. Defense could NOT have been any more fired up! Awesome spectacle to see in person.

Josh was better and not quite all the way back. But definitely improved. He needs someone to yell at him; Daboll did that. JA is not Tom Brady, an absolute student of the game. But, JA has talent aplenty. Just needs an ass kicking now and then.

Did anyone else catch JAs quote on the WGR postgame about not needing a change? And then I saw the replay when Josh was at a time out on the sideline, someone put a coat on him and he never looked at McDermott, who was two guys away. They never made eye contact, and after the time out Josh just dropped the coat and went back on the field. I really think it upset Josh to have Dorsey fired. As, I don’t think Josh feels Dorsey was the problem at all. .

Diggs’ damned brother got in his head methinks.

Brady gave the ball to so many different players, looked like what we need; keeping the opposing D on their toes and off kilter.

Is this what its about...having fun?

For JA it is. every QB is different with a distinct style. When JA is having fun  -- look I know he's a grown ass man paid to do a job, but by "fun", I mean getting out of hid head and ENJOYING the game and just letting things roll with his immense talent; he gets the team on a roll.

You can feel it. Mock if you want, but when JA is free to just PLAY the GAME he loves, there is a palpable difference in the product.

one of your superstars is having off-field drama that culminates in someone scorned dropping a certain bomb to the family the night before a playoff game and a late night three ring circus at home afterwards.

I'll just ask it out loud. Did JA actually get some girl pregnant and his GF found out? Is THAT why that playoff game sucked so BADLY?! I know it was a hot rumor, but has it actually been substantiated?

He pushed for Dorsey but he did not change his game so he could be successful.

Actually, IMHO, it was Dorsey who has SO clearly changed JOSH's game this year. It has been a thing of misery to watch week after week. Josh had fun ONCE last night; when he was allowed to RUN into the end zone. He was happy, and the team was happy...Soooo short lived though...

We made far more mistakes than the refs did.  We lost, they didn't take it from us.

I agree that the TD toe tap was a TD, and the PI was PI even from me watching their backs from the opposite end zone as it happened in real time; Taron didn't turn his darn head.

But sitting in the stadium and watching the video of the butt catch, we all saw that ball come out after the tussle, and we just went, "well, incomplete pass." Then, this little zebra runs out and says, "something, forward progress, first down." (The ref's mics were horrible all night.) If you tv watchers are saying it was a catch then so be it, but to us it looked like a hot mess of a call. Then, an attempted play into a false start. So, my question now is two fold, if there is a challenge flag allowed before the next play, can you throw one if the next play is a false start? And two, why the eff didn't McD throw the challenge on that? It was so quick in the Stadium, no one could have radioed to him not to throw it in the little time between the call and false start...

On another note, I wrote the post at 3:30am after getting home and was too wired to sleep. God, the vibe was just weird. Like the vibe of watching these guys all year...We win the toss and opt to receive??! First play from scrimmage results in a turnover fumble. The next drive is almost an INT using the EXACT same play and route that was run into an INT either the last week or the week before -- right into the defender's hands, but this time the defender (luckily) stepped out of bounds as he caught the pick.

I have not heard the Ralph so depleted and quiet since the day our guy was almost paralyzed. I could actually hear individual voices yelling from the opposite end zone. Just. Weird. All season. Except for Miami. That was genuine fun!

But, the drought feeling is back in my gut game after game; what will happen next, who will get called, who will intercept us and on and on...

  8. Honestly, that game is going to be a mess of drunken people. Depending where your seats are, get inside early. You get to chill, watch warm-ups, sometimes Diggs plays catch with kids, etc. The tailgates and the stadium as a whole are sadly no place for kids. My sons’ memories of that age (my fault) are remembering the beard full of puke, the boobies on display, etc.

If you don’t yet have seats, scalp in the 225 section (s) these are “family friendly” and the cursing is really low and no booze allowed at seats. You can get beers in the pub directly behind this section of you want . Good luck. Hope he has fun.

So ticket representative will be contacting you about PSLs soon?

They sent around a survey of what I’d pay for PSLs in different parts of a stadium about two months ago. And let’s not forget a kid died. God granted a miracle, and I could care less where the AFCCG is held. OP would have been ideal, but this ALL goes with being a Bills’ fan.

  10. Thanks for a fun season. For JA having another great year. For almost beating Brady in OT. For playing like a warrior; they WILL get you surrounded with power players! For ending the curse of the Patriots with a perfect game! For bringing good football back to Buffalo.
I know we will win a Super Bowl in a coming season. Thanks to all of the Bills! See you

    in August!
