This was a beautiful game. We passed the ball to build a big lead while wearing down Denver, then we ran the ball to close the game out. Beautiful.
We did what we want when we wanted to

Was it hot in Raleigh, or around Blowing Rock/GFM? Raleigh is a much lower elevation and I can imagine that being sticky in the summer. We had fabulous weather in Blowing Rock/Boone, especially after having spent the previous week in Florida.
I’m guessing we will buy a lot somewhere in the mountains and wait to build something modest down the road. I have a good idea of what we’d want, and I doubt we find that already built.
Raleigh is hell

Moved to Hilton Head right after college. Managed bank branches there and in Beaufort. My boss was in Charleston. Love that area, but it sure does get HOT! Met my wife in HHI, our kids were born there. They would tell people they were born in SC, I’d tell them to say Hilton Head! Wife is from Rock Hill, SC. P
Why? Where are you?

We settled in Summerville SC about 3 years ago. Figured if you used term lowcountry you had to be close

The Gremlin was a special car, and lime green was the cherry on top!
When I met the wife (while living in the low country of SC), she was driving a powder blue Pinto. Stick shift (new to me at the time), no A/C but she did have the sunroof for those 120 heat index days! Let the built up 200 degree air out thru the roof! YAY! Cloth seats so the sweat drenched driver didn’t stick to the soaked seats.
Her father had told her if she could wait just a couple weeks he could get her a better car. The impatience of youth can be astonishing! Most of us were guilty, I’m sure. Glad the thing never blew up on us!
Where in the lowcountry?

Never had wings as good as WNY wings out of town (unless I kmade them. The best in other places was a bar in Charleston,SC and ones that were made by our Bills Backers group at a Bills tailgate in Oakland.
What bar?

Last time I got insurance on a new vehicle they wanted to know if I was doing any ride sharing. I don’t know what happens if you tell them you are or what happens if you get into an accident and haven’t told them but it is something to think about. I know a few guys that do it and they average about 18 an hour. One guy has a regular route from Charleston to I think Charlotte because it is easier for the client than driving or taking a plane.

Common practice amongst contractors is to low bid and change order people to death. As a contractor something major would have to happen for me to charge extra and even then it needs to be discussed. And never sign off on liability. My business has a 5 star google rating. That is very important to the growth of my company. I would look into any place they look to get work. Ie angies list , home advisor or google. I also usually ask for a downpayment. People forget that there is as many flighty people as there is contractors.

Anybody got a replay of the play? I have been looking for it and can’t find it anywhere. I didn’t watch until the 4th quarter.

I’m getting sick and tired of hearing Allen is inaccurate , even from a casual Giants fan ,
i don’t remember watching Allen standing in the pocket and missing throws, now there’s times that he needs to just throw the ball away , instead of trying to force a throw while he’s on the run his feet are not set and the ball being almost intercepted ,
I think Allen is actually pretty ACCURATE he just needs to make better DECISIONS ,
It feels like a overused narrative. He needs to get better but there is a reason why he is still here and we have got new receivers.

If Waddle is lower in the depth chart could it be better for him to be hurt until after cuts?
-
The bills and the jets got that matter can play good enough to make him want to quit. He can then say he wants to spend more time with his kids or whatever. He needs to be beaten.

Do you use Scotts 4-step? I do, but I'm late putting the Summer Guard down. I'd do it tomorrow, but it's gonna be too hot. Do you bag when you mow? I don't.
That’s pretty funny. I have some issues with fire ants so any advice you have there would be helpful. As far as the rest of it goes I have my own business so by the time I mow I am just trying to get it done. Appreciate your passion. Horticulture is a under appreciated science.

You care about winning and losing in preseason games? You’re serious? I can’t begin to fathom that but if you are serious then yes I think this year will be better based on the number of quality signings the team has made.
But really what you should care about, the only thing, is getting the starters and significant role players through these farces healthy and whole for the regular season.
I am serious. I like football. I know it doesn’t matter and that the games are glorified practice. I find it odd that guys will be on here all offseason talking about who they think will be the 6th receiver on the team or TE or RB depth and then want to tune out when they get to showcase their skills and try to make a life
for themselves. I also have a lot of friends from all over the country and it is fun to rib them when we beat them even in the preseason. It is even funnier to tease them over preseason games because they don’t count. I also like to see the Bills win. I think the overall depth of the team has improved and we will have a competitive training camp. I think guys will be thinking they have a shot to make the team. Obviously you don’t want anyone hurt and obviously the teams starters need cohesion. People here spend hours writing up topics on the team and then talk about going and mowing their lawns and not watching it all play out... that’s very strange to me.

If your point is the second half of preseason games is an indication of which team has better depth, I agree to an extent. Looking at the scores from last year, though, doesn’t seem to support your belief. There’s no clear trend.
Hey man that’s fair. Just seems like for years now we have been making the 3rd string Lions Qb Look like Joe Montana.

The Bills preseason record in the Superbowl years 1990 to 1993 was 6 and 12. The Bills were outscored in those preseason games 273 to 417. Draw your own conclusions.
What were their records in said superbowls ? Am I alone in the fact that if my team suits up I want them to win? I guess so.....

The past 2 years it always seemed like we were getting blown out later on in preseason games. I think this is a direct result of the lack of depth the team has had due to the cap situation. I never like to watch my team lose. I know it doesn’t matter and there is other factors at play that may for the team be more important. Do you expect this year for the Bills to be more competitive in the preseason matchups?
