Hopefully, in time, we won’t find out firsthand just how effective those proactive measures really were… but there’s little doubt we’ll regret every cent of these "savings."
If I understand your meaning, you're saying that trying to prevent the spreading of disease in other parts of the world is an effort to keep it from coming into America?

Yawn.
You believe DOGE is going to water the plants! Boy, you’re stupider than thought possible.
The psychopaths in DOGE will eventually get what they deserve once more people realize the immeasurable harm they are doing to the poor and sick in the U.S. and the world.
You can circlejerk about cutting plant contracts, but that will never weigh evenly against children dying of HIV and cancer.
I don't believe most Americans want thier tax dollars paying for medications for people who live on other continent's. Surely you can understand that, even if you disagree with it?

Amazing. We have nuclear scientists, molecular biologists and anesthesiologists on the maga team here yet they're unconcerned with the effects of tariffs on the markets. Meanwhile a couple lawyers, a couple engineers and a physician on the progressive side are concerned. All while the higher educated and more highly reimbursed nationally are becoming progressives in droves. Weird.
and 70% seems pretty random. Also stupid…And for the first time in decades there's more registered Republicans than Democrats. Curious.

Lmao. My point still stands.
The lady with the incomplete work visa??
No, the lady who had her work visa revoked, according to a Vancouver newspaper, was turned around at the northern border and flew to Mexico to try to enter through the southern border. This may turn out to be a misunderstanding, but crying about having to wear cuffs and shackles while being transported between facilities like every other detainee? Poor ***** baby!

Israel is a country with a recent history of war crimes and genocide. Judaism is a religion comprised of a group of people that share religious beliefs, not necessarily political ones. I was at an event this weekend with 2 Jews who don’t support many of Israels recent actions, for example.
Thank you for answering.

yes, they confuse anti Israel with anti Semitic. It almost seems purposeful but I don't believe most maga's are that smart.
Please excuse my ignorance. This is a genuine question, would you mind educating me on the difference?

SpaceX's biggest competitors include Blue Origin, United Launch Alliance (ULA), Rocket Lab, and Arianespace.
Blue Origin
Founded by Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon
Developing a rocket with similar capabilities to SpaceX's fleet, but with cleaner-burning engines
United Launch Alliance (ULA)
A joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin
Developed the Vulcan rocket, which has similar capabilities and costs to SpaceX's Falcon Heavy
Rocket Lab
One of the world's most prominent space companies, behind only SpaceX in the number of commercial rocket launches
Developing the Neutron rocket, which is expected to be launched in mid-2025
Arianespace
A company with strong ties to its government and established history in the industry
Other competitors
Virgin Galactic, which focuses on the suborbital tourism industry
Nyx, a competitor to SpaceX Dragon
Thank you, I had no idea.

We'll see who has the last laugh, but there are laws in place for government contractors and conflicts of interest. I'm all for free markets, but Musk isn't the only game in town, and he's benefited from Lady Liberty long enough. Musk shouldn't be anywhere near our digital infrastructure. Given that Trump relied heavily on Musk, and that Musk was endorsed by Medvedev and Putin, it's reasonable to assert that Musk is a Russian proxy based on this logic alone.
Just out of curiosity because of my own ignorance, who is Musk competing with regarding starlink and space travel?

Are the tariffs Trump is imposing on Canadian goods higher than the tariffs Canada imposes on American goods? Or are the new tariffs reciprocal to what Canada is charging?

Wrong, Ukraine would attack Moscow at will, and have not because the world would see nuclear weapons. They took land from Rusdia, they destroyed their major military airport. They are fighting with one hand tied behind their backs, being control by Nato with its strategy.
You really think borders will be restored to pre-invasion boundaries? I guess we can respectfully disagree on that. We'll have to see how how it plays out. Us having different views on how the future plays out sure as hell don't make the other "wrong".

So the expansion of commies was important in a hellhole of Vietnam but in Europe it is ok?
How about Cuba? When Putin moves in next door, or China into Taiwan.
And the endless fight in Afghanistan was about?
A quick end to Ukraine, Russia is certainly best for all, but the lesson must be to Putin, not to the extremely brave people of Ukraine who escaped communist Russia thanks to Reagan and have stood for freedom. They are the example for the rest. They sacrificed, they did not get others to die for their country, they died, and killed and will be stained for generations.
I do not suggest the US should be financing this war alone or should send forces. But teaching Zelensky a lesson is not the goal.
Putin started this war.
Getting peace is certainly the "Art of the Possible" here but there can be no idea Putin wins.
Puttin has already won, it's just a matter to what degree.

I saw how it works during my grad studies in molecular bio (in the 80s, it hasn't changed). We had a NIH or NSF grant (can't remember which- it was ~40 years ago). About 5 months before the end of the grant, our advisor told us to go on a buying spree and get anything we wanted for the lab. We would not have spent the entire grant by the end and would lose that money, Instead of rolling it over that to the next grant and ask for less next year, the next grant would get less $ (by a lot). Across the whole govt., that is mega moola.
That was also my experience in the Army, if we didn't spend our money in a fiscal year we were allotted less money in following years.

I'm actually learning the easy way.
I actively trade energy markets and I am aware of what is available.
The point being, again, the US does not need outside sources for it's energy needs.
Period.
Please excuse my ignorance on this subject, bur if there is a finite amount of oil on the planet would it not make sense to deplete the middle east and Russia first and hold onto ours?

Can someone please explain to me what "buffalo head" means?

Listen to the Rubio comments on foreign aid from a couple years ago. Much cheaper to buy some loyalty with aid than to fight wars or lose access to rare natural resources. The Russians and Chinese are already swooping in a filling the void while laughing at the US morons.
It's the prior morons fault that the current morons are in place.
