A GM talking to a player on another team is considering tampering. Now there's nothing in the rules that players can't reach out to other players but some Jets players supposedly felt Hardman was giving competitors info about the Jets playbook which is another error but of course that's on him not his team.

I wonder how rule would be applied if a relative worked in front office of a NFL.  I.e. If Ed McCaffrey has a position in Broncos front office and he was seen talking to his son Christian McCaffrey after a game.  There are a LOT of families in NFL.

The legal tampering period starts the 11th and FA the 13th so he has a little time. And I know he said he plans on being under the cap by the end of next week.

But I have Football ADHD dang it!  Make some moves so we know what's what!! 🤣

I'd rather him be meticulous and find good deals rather than get a show cow with mad cow disease and Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) but I can see some as part of the mob wanting him to be in a hurry so they can start bashing him for not listening to their great plan from Madden NFL GM.

  3. Former NFL Head Coach Concerned The New Orleans Saints 'Are Already Over' The NFL Salary Cap For The 2025 Season

    Quote

NEW ORLEANS - During "Airing It Out" on Monday morning, Charlie Weis criticized the New Orleans Saints for being the only team over the NFL salary cap for the 2025 season despite currently tackling their 2024 salary cap issues.

"I read one thing this morning, Bob, which really shows you how some teams are in some serious, serious trouble," former NFL head coach Charlie Weis told Papa. "They're the only team in the league that right now is already over the 2025 [salary cap]...when are you ever going to get out from underneath the salary cap problems if you keep on pushing everything down the road?"

He coached for the Cheats so he knows cheating when he sees it.

The last time the Chiefs got punished for tampering in 2016, the NFL made KC forfiet their 3rd round pick right before the 2016 NFL draft.  This single event propelled KC into a dynasty by protecting KC from itself.  KC wanted Paxton Lynch and couldn't beat Denvers offer to trade up from 31 to 26 becasue KC didn't have a 3rd round pick to trade.  If they had it, KC would have been able to offer 28 and 91 for 26 and draft Lynch.  Instead Seattle took Denvers offer of 31 and 94.  KC was missing pick 91.  KC traded back to 36 after it couldn't trade up for Lynch and instead they drafted Chris Jones.  The following season, they were still looking to draft a young future QB and traded up to 10 for Pat Mahomes.  If KC didn't tamper with Jeremy Maclin, none of that happens.  KC takes Lynch, doesn't draft Jones, and only 1 year into Lynch, isn't about to draft another QB in round 1.

So you are saying they cheat to protect themselves.  So that is why the Kings (Toney) were offense offside against Bills.

Now we now why Beli-CHEAT retired (yea he had token interview) because he knew his 4D chess was useless against KC 5D chess!

It also gave them a reason to keep Toney, who is known for screwing up, out of the Superbowl.

Good enough to lose to good teams that don't go for misdirection constantly and play undisciplined on defense.  Their entire offensive success is predicated on smoke and mirrors.  When that stops working against good defenses, what happens? Their offense comes to a near standstill. They have no answers because Tua is limited in what he can do...and once you force him to play to his limitations instead of his strengths, he crumbles.

Sounds like Lamar in playoffs other than he can run as well.

If the Dolphins can get the #1 seed, then they would have a shot at going to the Super Bowl. They struggle to play when the weather is nasty. The Chiefs game was proof of that. There are quite a few teams in the AFC where the weather can and probably will be a factor late in the year especially playoff time.

So reason for no d0me?  I hope new design has cold water pipes under opposition bench as equivalent to design of Mijami shading of home bench.

NFL should have new rule - opposing team chooses side of field it is on.  It will remove this disincentive.

P*ts would still have microphones on both side of field however.

DNA test of 90,000-year-old bone reveals human hybrid

Researchers in Germany say they have proof that a pre-historic teenager had parents who were members of two different species of pre-humans. Scientists used DNA from a 90,000-year-old bone fragment found in Siberia. The tests found that while the girl's mother was Neanderthal, her father came from a newly discovered species. Charlie D'Agata reports.

A year or two of fringe NFL rostering can net several decades worth of median US earnings. I'm sure this blend of privilege, risk, and relentless competition can easily lead to negatively reported employee perceptions of their even richer, whiter employers. It's the nature of the NFL machine. To see positive ratings for much of anything on these surveys is no small feat.

Not all of the fringe NFL rostering players are "lighter" or even all of the employers are white (Jacksonville).

This has me thinking I should bring up fewer anecdotes at work. My life did not exist before my current company.

Is it just me or does anyone else here get annoyed everytime either Beane or Mcd have a press conference they always bring up either players they had in Carolina or something else about how they ran there team. Correct if I'm wrong but Dave Gentleman was the GM and Ole River Boat Ron was the HC there right? It just drives me crazy that after 7yrs they still bring up the Panthers days like they won something.

Remember back in Bandcamp when we won 34,000 Superbowls and we scored 26000 pts in 14 season! 😂

I never attended band camp but let me guess instrument you used ..... Tuba!  Am I right?

It is not you but there are groups of people with Crohn disease, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, etc and these kind of conditions can be very annoying.

Perhaps you belong to a group with similar issue which has not been classified.  We used to have fans with Donahoe bag head syndrome but fortunately it was cured before it caused oxygen deprivation of the brain (Cerebral hypoxia).

Beane was acting general manager for a period for Panthers by the way.  Panthers made mistake not promoting him.

They were part of teams which won division and conference champions but those are not "anything".

With this economy, Everyone’s salary is exploding. We have reached a new plateau where making 200k / year is considered lower middle class.  Middle class now is 500k a year and people are still struggling to afford living comfortably.

Everyone’s salary is NOT exploding. Maybe you meant in NFL.  Many are not getting raises as companies are passing on profits to officers of companies.

I'd offer a pair of used boxer shorts and $5 dollar off voucher for Wendy's.

This no longer Dave's Wendy's and coupons are not worth that much.

I had a coupon for free frosty buying another and store said I had to buy a sandwich to use coupon.

I stated it does not state so on coupon and person at register said "Manager's decision and he is not here to discuss it."
