  1. Greg Olsen calls out Vontaze Burfict for dirty play and wants NFL to suspend him.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11696764/greg-olsen-carolina-panthers-says-vontaze-burfict-cincinnati-bengals-needs-disciplined-post-tackle-tactics

NFL players are complaining all the time for suspensions determined by NFL so why not complain to your labor union, the NFLPA, and get THEM to punish players? It is supposed to represent you and NFLPA declares the NFL can not be fair in rulings. Lets see them be fair and impartial on needs of two of their members rather than just sabre ratting to try to get bigger cut of revenue.

  2. Aside from making it shelter snow a bit (not a full dome) I see no need for new stadium.

There are fans who will pay significantly more for seats in a new stadium and fans when forced to pay more will choose not to get season tickets rather than move to seats which are more expensive and poorer view. I think no matter where stadium is moved to it will destroy tailgating as we know it and that is what sustains fans during bad runs. I do not think there is a lot of corporations who will pay for higher priced signage and suites in a new stadium. The Sabres might get signage in new stadium if owner was interesting in paying for it. :w00t:

If Jerry and his cohorts WANT a new stadium for more revenue they can pay for it and ask for percentage of cut - it is not economical and would not spur economic benefits other than short term benefits of construction of new stadium.

  3. Just some food for thought here. In 2012 Andy Levitre graded a (+17.3), and graded as the best pass blocking player on that line. So, the Bills let one of their best O lineman leave, and continue to try and replace him with utter garbage.

    I don't get it.

They are trying to make those who love to complain more than love to win happy. You seem very happy.

  4. Since Marone took over I said his biggest mistake was not keeping the good coaches we had here. Joe D was a great OL coach who made many OL look better (including those with went to SD and Tennessee) and made better holes for backs. He should have looked at game film and talked to players BEFORE cutting entire staff.

  5. I don't think you understood my question though. Can El Pegual own BOTH the Bills AND Sabres at the same time in accordance with NFL bylaws?? Thats what I'm hoping to find out.

Yes. He can even combine some operations for efficiency (i.e. ticket sales). What he can not due is bind them in any way which takes value from other venue like as example selling Sabre Ticket - Bills Ticket with discount on package. There has been a number of posts on this already.

  6. Kahn is a arrogant donkey but he speaks the truth. The Ralph is old. No matter how much money you put in face lifts, it is still old. It is a good stadium and design but the one thing wrong with it and has been a problem since day one is its location. NFL wants stadiums like Lucas Oil in Indy. Close to hotels, restaurants and entertainment. The Pegulas will have a chance to build a signature stadium that will be part of the downtown Renaissance. Until then the fans will have to listen to guys like Kahn.

Really we can not just ignore him or make jokes of guys like Kahn? This is like the Emperor's New Clothes, no one really has gumption to call out the Emperor as clothes-less. Too bad no one like Ralph is around who would say like he did with NFL-NFLPA contract - I do not understand, we can not fill current boxes, have very few corporate advertisers and need to keep prices low to sell out so how is a new stadium with PSLs and higher prices going to be filled unless goal is to fill the seats with visiting team fans?

.99% of Nfl stadiums are new or extensively renovated.

Did you fail math class? How can you get 99% when you divide by 32?

  7. Even better they punished season ticket holder who sold him a ticket.

In addition, the Lions decided to punish the season ticket holder who provided the spectator with the ticket by revoking the remainder of his 2014 season tickets

Wonder if was a friend/family member or just someone trying to cut their costs for season tickets.

  8. I would respect him so much more if he did but he won't. He called Mario a loser on WGR last offseason and never stated he was wrong. It's the great part of being a sports "journalist." Zero accountability. Guys like Sullivan, Skip Bayless, Cowherd are never wrong.

Sullivan is NOT a journalist - he is a columnist. There is a difference between the two and Sullivan illustrates it completely.

  9. If its a personal foul on the first play of the game that knocks Brady out, I'll take it!

It would be ironic in that he was put on injured reserve for playoffs when he said he was healthy.

It would be more ironic if he hit his ex-coach knocking him out of game pounding a RB on edge of field.

  10. http://www.torontosun.com/2014/10/07/terry-and-kim-pegula-to-have-50-ownership-stakes-in-bills-source?

At least one other mystery bidder placed a bid substantially higher than Toronto’s, QMI Agency has learned.

    [/Quote]

Not that I consider QMI Agency always reliable since they seem to slant some news as much as Fox but who is mysterious 4th bidder? Tom Golisano stated he did not bid. This bid was between $1.05 billion and Pegulas's bid.

  11. Yes I was thinking about that. You can see Hogan sped up to try to find slot between two defenders which is why they call him 7-11.

Some of the Bills WRs did not seem happy when QB change was made according to statements they made to media but I am sure Gragg, Hogan and Goodwin were happy they were given balls they could catch and contribute to win.
