  1. Yeah, but if they had kicked and assumed made, then kicked off Denver would likely not have been pinned in quite so deep, who know what would have happened??

Is this Wade's first Super Bowl? I'm pretty certain he only came to Buffalo after their four SB run had ended, can't recall if he went with some other team, as he's been with so many over the years

  2. How many coaches have never played the game? According to Cleaeland (*^*&%^$^#the players will not respect her because she never played football but doesn't that apply to coaches who never played football? Do they have to have played professional football and at what level?

Why should players care what media people say who have never played for that matter?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Kiley_%28sportscaster%29

Kiley claims he played college football at the University of Wyoming, and professionally with the NFL's New York Jets, and then with the World Football League's Chicago Fire. According to Pro-Football-Reference.com this is no record of him ever appearing for the Jets and his one contribution to the Chicago Fire is a single kick return for 13 yards. The University of Wyoming's football media guide does not list him among their all-time lettermen.

Is a kicker a football player? :wallbash:

  3. ..is the Don Esmonde lede

I agree with most of what he says at http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/donn-esmonde/nfl-abandonment-of-st-louis-ups-the-ante-in-buffalo-20160123

Including the open ended statement: "Buffalo will thankfully be spared St. Louis’ fate. But in the game of stadium checkers, the pressure is on to keep up with the Kroenkes."

I think the current pressure to move is "low" ... but if the Bills lose the next two seasons, the pressure is a red hot blowout to move.

    Opinion.

Opinion - you already expect the Bills to leave so get on the boat out of town now!

Fans are not dumb you take any Cowboys fan or fan in one of these multi billion dollar play pens and bring them to a Buffalo Game day experience and they will tell you hands down what happens here and places like Greenbay and K.C. is special.

Most feel that what happens here is fun and what a real game day experience should be about. So stand up and be proud. I for one am thankful for a awesome game day experience and how

close the stands are to the field and the whole atmosphere out

at the Ralph. There is no place on game day I would rather be then right there. When it's too small and doesn't make enough money for Jerry Jones it's Just right for us. Boy Marv Levi would be proud. GO BILLS

I agree about the game day experience vs commercial but they are far too many drunks and anti-social people at the games. There are people so drunk they can barely walk in stadium. It is a good game day experience which could be great.

This is similar to another story The Buffalo News has run in the past few weeks by a female. I think it's their typical hate on the Pegula agenda because they don't kiss their ass.

When they remodel the stadium they should put the press box above the sewage tank.

    http://www.theofficialreview.com/nfl-cross-ownership-rules/

Check this out. Pegula would have to sell, transfer, or move the Sabres will the Bills to relocate. Both Terry and Kim own the Bills so he couldnt do the old transfer ownership to his wife in order to move. Pegula will keep the Bills in western NY and most likely try to go downtown IMO. He would be smart to build a dome stadium near the Falls which could be used for multiple events over the year. Maybe even connect a casino to it.

They could do the divorce with each taking an asset.

  4. Last big winter storm I tore the muscles/connective tissue in both of shoulders and needed to have surgery on them in different years including shaving of the bones. At 5:30 AM this morning I cleaned off the front porch, steps and sidewalk to the car. This time over 2 feet of snow with snow going over hood of car and it still snowing there is no way I can get to work; even if I shovelled it out by the time I got back there would be no where to park. Usually I am the person at work who is told I have to go home so this bothers me but nothing I can do is sit it out until it is not snowing so much that my parking spot is filled by the time I'd get back from work.

And no there are no neighborhood kids coming to offer to shovel snow like I was when I grew up; we have never had any offer living here 20+ years.

  5. The game wasn't over and the local talking heads were already discussing how they'd be w/o Lynch next year. My comment to Hawk fans is that their coaching staff was a group of morons for not using Fred more. I wonder why they bothered to even sign him.

He was used a LOT as blocker on third downs and he picked up a lot of blitzes. He filled the role they wanted.

  6. what if we do not move on and keep him but do not depend on him?

what cost would he really be? $1mm? $2mm? For a 4th WR, which he would be for us hopefully, at the right price he'd be a helluva lot move valuable than another joe blow.

He is already getting $2M from Billls in pro-rated signing bonus for 2016-17; in order to tear up that contract and get another he will want another signing bonus and that is a very bad risk.

  7. I wonder what coach/player this refers to; I think there are a lot of players who have learning issues in NFL and not just faking it to try to get medication legally.

Here’s how one candidate answered the adversity question: He cited a time when his team traded for a player whom he soon realized had trouble learning, to the point where it had affected his playing time with his previous team. The coach spent $600 an hour to meet with a sports and performance psychologist, learning how to become a better teacher to a slow learner. The player went on to have a career-best season under his new coach. Days later, his answer stuck out in the minds of the people he’d met with, even after they’d done several more interviews.
  8. Whoever wins the NFC title game, the NFC will send a first time QB to the big dance

AFC on the other hand will send a seasoned veteran of the Super Bowl. Brady (4-2), Rothlesberger (2-1), and Manning (1-2) have combined to represent the AFC in 12 of 15 Super Bowls this millennium, including 9 consecutive seasons 2004-2012

You are assuming Manning will remain healthy enough to start; all three potential AFC starting experienced QBs have been banged up a lot but NFC QBs are healthy.
