  1. The names of iconic hotels and other landmarks in the world-famous Yosemite National Park will soon change in an ongoing battle over who owns the intellectual property, park officials said Thursday.

The luxurious Ahwahnee Hotel will become the Majestic Yosemite Hotel, and Curry Village will become Half Dome Village, said park spokesman Scott Gediman.

The move comes in an ongoing dispute with Delaware North, the company that recently lost a $2 billion bid — the National Park Services largest single contract — to run Yosemite’s hotels, restaurants and outdoor activities.

Delaware North demands to be paid $51 million for the names and other intellectual property, and the New York-based firm filed a lawsuit last year, saying that when it won the contract in 1993, the park service required the company to buy the former concessionaire’s assets.

The company is really trying to milk all the money they can now they lost the contract:

Yosemite National Park — another name which is also claimed by Delaware North and remains in dispute — will stay put, Gediman said.

National Park Service says the names and other intellectual property are worth about $3.5 million, according to the government’s response to a lawsuit that Delaware North filed with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

There are several NFL player agents they could give lessons to in negotiations; too bad Yosemite National Park can't just sit out like players when under contract.

  2.

The Chargers still have first dibs on LA with the Rams if they can't find a viable stadium solution in San Diego.

Still does not work, probably one of the sites which requires some specific software, uses tracking and you need to access from front door, etc.

  3. I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. You put together random lines like a ransom note and then present them as me saying TT would get $19MM as a backup? Hilarious but sadly not surprising coming from WEO. The Sarah Palin of trolls.

Here you are making false statements ... where is proof "he" is a mother of a female abuser?

Simpliest solution is to sign an agreement which adds a short term extension at bye week if he hits certain milestones negotiated during this offseason so he can get his money but it impacts 2017 cap if he performs. If the Bills in offseason draft the next Willson who makes starting QB ride the bench, that is the way the NFL works.

  4. We've completely disrespected him from the beginning. Signed him in free agency as a backup or third string, actually made him compete for the job in camp, named him the starter but lined him up at WR for the first snap of the season, played EJ instead of him when he was hurt, and then publicly stated that although he enters 2016 as the starter but they still want him to continue to improve. I'm surprised he hasn't burnt OBD to the ground or gone all Kromer and murdered a whole family. There's only so much a man can take.

Maybe he is not as irrational, implusive or sarcastic as you?

  5.

A lot of it probably comes down to individual variation. Sash probably had some sort of genetic or biochemical makeup that we don't know about that made him susceptible to CTE. Maybe the subarachnoid space in his skull was just slightly smaller than normal, leading to greater susceptibility to sub-concussive trauma. Hell, for all we know, he just read one too many Bucky Gleason editorials.

I think they need to compare the brains of those who read his and Sully's articles and determine if they cause CTE; throw in Bucky's and Sully's brains too, they can take them now since they do not need them to write what they write.

  6. New York officials are considering temporarily turning some of Niagara Falls into a trickle.

One construction scenario would leave the American and Bridal Veil Falls dry for five months, from August through December. The second plan being considered would require a nine-month dry spell, from April through December.
