  1. EDIT: My point about Khan was because, realistically, he's the only owner looking to move/secure his NFL franchise in London.

If London expansion franchise is okayed I suspect Khan would sell his Jacksonville franchise to get London one assuming they would allow cross-town ownership of two teams like the Bills/Sabres. Then the new owner of Jacksonville would probably move team to make it more profitable.

I think NFL Europe showed that. The Germans get football, and the Dutch to a degree.

Yes I think NFLE proved that.

  2. All the same, would you bring in Levitre if it just meant eating the salary? I'd entertain the idea in hopes that a change-of-scenery / return-to-familiarity would help. I imagine Wood would feel a lot better with Levitre by his side than with Richardson or Kuandijo right now.

Unfortunately the familiarity would not be there; Marrone's biggest mistake was firing entire coaching staff. Joe D'Alessandris, the OL coach, was a great one and able to get a lot more out of late round rookies and OL taken out of other teams' scrap heaps.

  3. Remember haters to vote for someone else. Lots for haters to hate - Buffalo "embarrassingly" won, Bills cost betters $$$ since they did not beat spread, Orton is not EJ and Chris Hogan is not Mike Williams.

Bills win on last-second Orton-to-Watkins score: Veteran quarterback Kyle Orton connected with rookie receiver Sammy Watkins for a 2-yard touchdown with a second remaining to lift the Buffalo Bills to a 17-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings. That play capped a 15-play, 80-yard drive, during which Orton converted a fourth-and-20 play, a third-and-12 situation and set up the decisive score on a 28-yard pass to Chris Hogan on a second-and-20 play.

  4. Is it coincidence that Boobie takes over as our starting back during Breast Cancer Awareness month?

It is not a coincidence Boobie is signed same year Bills dismiss Jills. They know they needed more Boobies but only could find one.

  5. What in gods name can we do to pick up a decent guard? There has to be someone on the bench of these other 31 teams that is better than what we have right now. Get it done Marrone, don't be stubborn and say it can be fixed. Now that CJ is wrecked for the year there goes that bargaining chip so what do we have to trade, certainly not draft picks... maybe Mike Williams goes? Please tell me we are going to do something about this pathetic line play.

October 28 is the deadline at 4pm.

Coaches do not trade for players, GMs do. Why do posters act clueless and cite Marrone? Direct such comments to GM. Yes Marrone and Whaley have same first name but they are different people doing different jobs.

  6. What are people going to do when Boobie and Tanner are active this week -- and Brown is still inactive? :w00t:

Getting into bathtub and dropping an electrical appliance in the bathtub. That way they do not need to worry who is inactive other weeks,

Interesting that they would put Spiller on the recovery IR. His first chance of playing would be game 15. I guess we might as well use the designation because if we don't use it this week or next, it's getting to be worthless. But it still says that there is a slight chance he could return, which is good news. For the record, I think it's a 95+% chance he is gone for the year.

Three or four breaks in collarbone? He is chopped liver for rest of season. At least his agent can claim a great yards per carry in last game.

  7. @RQUINN619: What can we expect from #Bills RB Bryce Brown? I broke down his game w/ vids @TheBillsMafia

    http://t.co/IcjRHYucbP http://t.co/gRmA8Wab8Y

Bryce Brown has prototypical size and speed for an every-down running back as he’s got a compact frame that can handle punishment when running between the tackles. He’s got great speed, but his best asset is his ability to see a hole, cut, and burst through it for a big gain. Brown is incredibly elusive and shifty for his size and can make defenders miss, or run through them.

To me, Brown’s biggest issue is that he tends to bounce stretch runs too far outside and too often.

Sounds a lot like Spiller except for better ability to see hole; even has Spiller tendency to bounce outside.

Now we KNOW Fred will be going to game and help his running back coach any way he can. Maybe this will be week when Jackson decides coaching is the nxt step in his career after he is ready to hang up his cleats.

  8. I think that says it all-- the Bills are the functional equivalent of a 1-6 team according to oddsmakers.

or more betters in NYCNJ want to spend money on betting for JetsJest. Talked with buddy in NJ and he said in his office 80% of the guys who follow football have been for them to win each week despite all of the losses.

  9. MW and EJ seems to have developed a good relationship! I wonder if part of the reason MW is in bad with coach is because he spoke up on Manuel's benching? It's ironic that MW hasn't seen the field since EJ!

He was on field Sunday, he just did not catch a ball. He was blocking very well however.

Like i mentioned , they both looked into the game and cheering. Had some friends who were at the game and said as much. I only saw a shot or two from the TV . I never thought of that Skycap . seemed to me the

Receivers had given up on EJ if anything , but thats just from the TV

CJ seemed biggest supporter of EJ and most disappointed when he was demoted from comments in press and twitter.

  10. Why they don't place chips in the balls, map the field and take all the judgement and guess work out is beyond me. At some point the integrity of the game and consistency of officiating has to be recognized as a drain on market share. Although I might have it wrong, maybe the pr from officiating controversy fulfills the mantra "no such thing as bad publicity"

Because then some like the Patriots* would hack into it and we would have a new Chipgate controversy. It is the league protecting the Patriots* again.

  11. We dont get mad. We just keep on grinding

But i want me some Mke Williams love on the field.

Chris is doing fine and we should rally around him since it seems he will be getting the reps

Mike Willams has dropped enough balls. He has not done anything at , all the time!

But if isn't given more chances he cant get his groove on. Seriously

    pffft

Thats weird language dude. You got issues ?

Menstrual rags is just having a bad day. Of course he has a bad day for years.

the real issue and question is why the hell Marrone drafts kids, and trades for kids and puts them in the dog house within the same season? Hell, he traded Stevie away because we had Woods and Mike Williams.

Marrone does not draft kids - he is a coach. Front office drafts players although they may seek advice from coaches as they do with scouts.

IMO what we are seeing is his lacrosse skill being translated into football now that he has been in a system long enough to process it. We have seen basketball players translated into TE skills and not we are seeing a lacrosse player translated into WR skills. Freddie had (and still has on board) opponents because he did not come into league from a Div I powerhouse so had to fight harder to get half the recognition. I am not saying Chris Hogan has same upper skill level as Freddie but he will need the same drive to get half as far as highly touted Div I players.
