The names of iconic hotels and other landmarks in the world-famous Yosemite National Park will soon change in an ongoing battle over who owns the intellectual property, park officials said Thursday.
The luxurious Ahwahnee Hotel will become the Majestic Yosemite Hotel, and Curry Village will become Half Dome Village, said park spokesman Scott Gediman.
The move comes in an ongoing dispute with Delaware North, the company that recently lost a $2 billion bid — the National Park Services largest single contract — to run Yosemite’s hotels, restaurants and outdoor activities.
Delaware North demands to be paid $51 million for the names and other intellectual property, and the New York-based firm filed a lawsuit last year, saying that when it won the contract in 1993, the park service required the company to buy the former concessionaire’s assets.
The company is really trying to milk all the money they can now they lost the contract:
Yosemite National Park — another name which is also claimed by Delaware North and remains in dispute — will stay put, Gediman said.
National Park Service says the names and other intellectual property are worth about $3.5 million, according to the government’s response to a lawsuit that Delaware North filed with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
There are several NFL player agents they could give lessons to in negotiations; too bad Yosemite National Park can't just sit out like players when under contract.

Authorities say a thrill-seeker who parachuted off a bridge overlooking the Pacific likely drowned, as did the man who jumped in to try to save her.

Looks like the field crew took communications lessons from Zebras.

Carson Wentz's QB coach said the #Bills visited campus to see him as much as any team in the league. There's been interest for a while.
Not only does the guy have upside, he spent four years in North DeFreakingkota.
Playing in a dome in North DeFreakingkota.

The Chargers still have first dibs on LA with the Rams if they can't find a viable stadium solution in San Diego.
Still does not work, probably one of the sites which requires some specific software, uses tracking and you need to access from front door, etc.

I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. You put together random lines like a ransom note and then present them as me saying TT would get $19MM as a backup?
Hilarious but sadly not surprising coming from WEO. The Sarah Palin of trolls.
Here you are making false statements ... where is proof "he" is a mother of a female abuser?
Simpliest solution is to sign an agreement which adds a short term extension at bye week if he hits certain milestones negotiated during this offseason so he can get his money but it impacts 2017 cap if he performs. If the Bills in offseason draft the next Willson who makes starting QB ride the bench, that is the way the NFL works.

If she was a cat the owner would be sued for abuse.

Plan everything out before cashing including name change, new place to live and legal protections. Let the press have the name since required but then disappear but since I have never bought a lottery ticket will never happen.

Yes, pay him 20mm a year. It really worked good for us when we did that with F$tzmoney.
Expect the Bills DIDN'T pay him that much, it was a middle of starting pack contract.

We've completely disrespected him from the beginning. Signed him in free agency as a backup or third string, actually made him compete for the job in camp, named him the starter but lined him up at WR for the first snap of the season, played EJ instead of him when he was hurt, and then publicly stated that although he enters 2016 as the starter but they still want him to continue to improve. I'm surprised he hasn't burnt OBD to the ground or gone all Kromer and murdered a whole family. There's only so much a man can take.
Maybe he is not as irrational, implusive or sarcastic as you?

For Colorado is it illegal to ride a horse while under influence - is that the rider or the horse and has it been updated for the legal weed?

Bills need PR/KR upgraded; the Bills used to have some dynamic kick returners who needed to be defended against going the distance and I do not see that on current roster even if starters start on special teams.

No reporter is under contract. If he's good, desired and wants to leave b-lo, he will flee.
Not necessarily; sometimes writers negotiate things like paid moving expenses which will have to be repaid if he leaves within a certain period of time. Sort of like breaking a cell phone contract.

Our previous owner was only concerned about the profit margin, not winning.
Complete and utter BS - he could have moved team and gotten a lot higher profit margin.

A lot of it probably comes down to individual variation. Sash probably had some sort of genetic or biochemical makeup that we don't know about that made him susceptible to CTE. Maybe the subarachnoid space in his skull was just slightly smaller than normal, leading to greater susceptibility to sub-concussive trauma. Hell, for all we know, he just read one too many Bucky Gleason editorials.
I think they need to compare the brains of those who read his and Sully's articles and determine if they cause CTE; throw in Bucky's and Sully's brains too, they can take them now since they do not need them to write what they write.

I would not be the least bit surprised if the patriots* end up getting caught for some sort of salary cap cheating in the future. Just a hunch.
Well like SF it is worth it.

Congrats to Eric Wood on his first trip!! I thought that this was his best year.
Also, how in the world did someone decide that Brent Grimes belongs? He is TERRIBLE!!
Maybe they need a spectacle outside stadium so hoping he brings his wife?

"Incognito started all 16 games in 2015 for the Bills at center"
Who knew?
Well it was stated our center improved enough to make the pro bowl so I guess we know why; now all of that snapping a ball by Wood was just an illusion.

Broncos should hire him as a consultant for Superbowl.

Age depends on month you were born. I remember seeing on TV living in Blasdell in 1969. Chef Jim and I are same age +/- 9 months.

New York officials are considering temporarily turning some of Niagara Falls into a trickle.
One construction scenario would leave the American and Bridal Veil Falls dry for five months, from August through December. The second plan being considered would require a nine-month dry spell, from April through December.

I am embracing my inner patriot ... I am full of bruises and sore muscles and feel like I was hit 20 times by a fast moving snow plow.

Wait....so.......do posters bashing Tyrod Taylor and Eric Wood still suck?
Could have sworn I read that around here somewhere!
Corrected.
