I honestly don’t care (it doesn’t bother me), but i’m curious why they would pick Kleinhans to model from.

Its a staple, but definitely not in the top 5 of things I think of when “Buffalo New York” pops in my head.

Personally, since the day the rendering was released, all I can see is a stadium that resembles an upscale mall entrance.

I appreciate the design more now that they pointed that out.

Kleinhans was designed by famous father and son architects.

Buffalo is lucky to have such a rich architectural heritage for a city of its size. However Kleinhans certainly wasn’t the first thing I had in mind when I heard they wanted to represent Buffalo’s historic architecture.

I get the sense that it's the latter. I do believe (perhaps moreso than others) that Dorsey knows what he's doing with play design. The execution is what seems to be getting in the way. Perhaps that's a reflection of how complicated the offensive design is, I don't know. But there are times when some of the newer guys don't seem to know where they're supposed to be.

It may also be a reflection of why it took Harty so long to get on the field as anything other than a gadget player.

I'm not so sure, as this was a criticism with the offense last year as well from what I remember.

  3. Looks nice and modern and will be an upgrade, but kind of generic. I'm curious where the "team's desire for a visual identity that reflects some of the historical architecture of Buffalo" is in the renderings. Or is that the three giant bison?

I'm having the same problem. Mobile site only on my phone. Desktop version working fine. On phone when I click next or page 2, 3 etc. It just gives me an all blue page, never loads.

It still doesn't work on desktop for me. When you are not logged in and you attempt to use the pagination you get a bunch of errors showing. See the attached screen shot from chrome dev tools. The warnings at the top seem to be there for both logged in and not logged in but anything below the "This is a browser feature intended for developers..." only happens when you are not logged in.

  5. Haven't seen it mentioned yet but I've really only been skimming threads but the most troubling play was Taylor throwing just throwing the ball down incomplete with a little less then 5 minutes to go. I don't know if that was his decision or if a coach told him to do that if he couldn't find anyone open but that showed a disturbing lack of time management. It was a 3rd down so taking a sack would have been better in order to run clock. I would really like to know why they thought that was a good idea.

Yeah I was wondering what this was too. McDermott did not look happy either.

  6. List the "plenty" you saw.

Sorry I wasn't taking detailed notes. I specifically mentioned it three or four times alone in the first half, but here it goes off the top of my head. There was a diving catch by Goodwin, there was a pass (over the middle!) to I think Bush where he had to go down and grab it and if hit in stride he could have picked up more yardage. There was that nice gain (again over the middle) to Clay that was behind him. The pass to the goal line at the end was high. But you know that is just off the top of my head, I'll leave it up to the all-22 folk to fill in the rest.

  7. Here are 2 headlines from PFF breakdown .. solid analysis

    https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-nfl-buf-mia-grades-outstanding-ajayi-leads-dolphins-to-win/

    Quarterback grade: Tyrod Taylor, 84.5

Taylor is his usual self in nearly flawless performance

    ---

Surrounding cast unable to help Taylor

Buffalos offensive line had its worst game this season as they struggled both in pass protection and in opening lanes for the running backs. Right tackle Jordan Mills struggled the most in pass protection as he surrendered two sacks and four quarterback hurries. In addition, the unit failed to help Buffalos running game as 66 of the Bills 67 rushing yards came after contact. Furthermore, the wide receivers were unable to make big plays. Excluding, Goodwins long touchdown reception, Buffalo pass catchers gained only 12 of the Bills 154 receiving yards after the catch.

Can't pin this all on the receivers. Saw plenty of opportunities of YAC if the ball placement would have been better.

  8. Last year in the preseason Taylor had a lot of zip on his passes, so much so that I remember commentators saying he needs to ease up a bit at times, everything was coming out a fastball. Then the season started and that zip wasn't quite the same, and this year it is non existent. Almost like they have coached him out of just going out there and sling it around the field. Him and EJ now seem to have the same ugly mechanics, that short step, all arm kind of thing. Just my uneducated observation.
