We have been saying this a lot over the last 13 years.
The reality is that this is a veteran team.
Dareus is the baby of the DL in his third season......otherwise these guys in the middle to the backside of their careers.
Erik Pears, Urbik, Wood, Legursky.......these are veterans. I will be surprised if at least two of those guys...Pears and Legursky...don't need to be replaced with starting quality players by next season.
Your top receivers are Stevie Johnson and Scott Chandler......also veterans.....and guys with injury issues.
Lawson and Leodis are older guys on that defense as well. Byrd is a vet and a free agent-to-be.
Fred Jackson is the oldest back in the league and CJ is already 26. Not young for their positions by any means.
Point is.......this is not a "young team". They have some young players, but most teams do. There are younger teams in this league winning right now.
They are just a regular NFL team that would be winning now if the franchise was committed to winning rather than simply wanting to win so long as it falls within their operating parameters.
the bills are the 3rd youngest team in the league!!!!!

we lead the afc east in points scored and i think are 4th or 5th in the afc our offense has been good enough punt return and big plays on defense are the problem

You could have jerry rice and andre reed with Gronkowski at tight end. If the qb isn't protected with enough time to throw its irrelevant. Someday we will discover that the key to a good offense is a quality offensive line.
look at denver come on it comes down to play calling and qb cant blame it all on the oline

its a tough line to walk for him all we talk about is giving cj the ball then we do and now we are not doing it right...............teams are stacking the but keying cj up the middle outside zone read period he is our threat hes a game breaker i say stick with him with it (the game plan) hes our best chance he will get loose soon ......and that will help out ej i think we are in a win now mode but realize we have one more year before we are in that top tier discussion

what kills me is how everyone calls for cj to get the ball we force feed him the ball then theres a problem with the oc the fact is that we really need a true number 1 wr a true threat i love stevie and i love our team but we lack a wr who makes the defense worry about game breaking plays............. our wr core is very good and has alot to build on but we need that one guy who makes the other team nervous
If the Bills had their true starting secondary, the Bills would have won the game.
As bad as the Jets D made the Bills O look, they still scored 20 points, and if Gilmore, McK, and Brooks were at corner, with Byrd and A-Will at strong safety where he belongs, the Jets would have been lucky to score 9 points at best.
I think the pass rush and the blitzing went out the window because the coverage was so bad, it wouldn't have been effective anyway.
i agree losing leo killed us justin rogers has got to go i will take my chances with who ever is behind him but he obviously cant cut it and handicaps us ........... we need our secondary back asap to have any hope
