I would think his next step would be a DC outside of Rex's shadow, like Pettine

Sammy is soft. Time to suck it up,
The kid played with broken ribs last year, please stop this madness
-
Love it! I was hoping he had a little of this in him, a lot of the great ones do
-
Gotta root for chargers here, steelers are the better team when Ben comes back. Get them their losses now.
-
A-train... Haven't thought of that guy in a while
-
Brutal call... We did catch a break on the two horse collar calls though
-
What are we going to do when we lose Roman?
-
Wr that ain't on the field is useless
Yep, he needs to be on the field like Benjamin..
-
Can we keep losing these "non important" games?Meh, I think they can still win w/o him. Might as well get them all as healthy as possible for the important games.
Yep. Let's get everybody healthy for post season golfing... This sucks...That's the right move IMO.
Get him healthy.
Let's go boobie I guess

Thought Houston had a big time D...

Right now the Jets and Chargers have an advantage over us in the tie breakers because of their losses to Philly and Minny. A loss this week to the Giants would even things out and could help in the long run, especially against the Chargers. The Jets we will play head to head.
Brings me back to one of your best threads crayonz!

Karlos behind Richie makes me happy
-
seems like common sense to us but then why can't anyone stop it? it makes me sad
Agreed.

pretty sure i could play OL for the Pats and I weigh 180 lbs. Tom gets the ball out in 1 second, what's there to do but just get in the DL's way for a split second
Gotta squat on the short stuff and try to make him hold it
-
I really don't see any reason in that article that would explain why our DL didn't get pressure on Brady. You should be able to rotate OL all day long and that should have little to no effect on the bills DL. Brady's ability to get rid of the ball quickly and be deadly accurate is the only reason I still see.
Also they are obviously bringing in OL for certain schemes and situation, IMO that could turn into a tell once teams catch up on the tape. But Billy probably has a way to counter that
Poor game plan on our part, we'll adjust

you are conflating two disassociated entities. this doesn't mean there is an problem with football analytics as a field (and thereby, "the analytics lovers over at WGR") - it just mean's there's an issue with PFF's analytics.
There isn't a problem with football analytics as a field. There is a problem with some people, WGR included IMO, that think they are the be all end all. Like they said in their response, there are things (many in my opinion) that are nearly impossible to quantify. Analytics are a piece of the puzzle, not the whole thing
-
I'd love to hear the analytics lovers over at WGR discussing this today

Going to need leodis against NE.
Yep, maybe when we can keep the pats*** from dropping 40 on us we can start thinking of trading off pieces...
-
I love Leodis and his passion. Depth is a good thing
-
I just one of many feathers in his cap.

In my dreams Tom Brady turns into Pete Rose. Excommunicated from the game and begging to get back in year after year until he's old and pathetic
-
I found out last minute that I have to help my sister in law move today... Very fortunate for the unusual 4:30 kick off

Forgive me, but I don't understand this outlook. You say it is garbage time however the purpose of doing that is to try to score points and get back in the game, which is exactly what Buffalo did. How can that be considered garbage time?
Yep, this thread is hilarious. Apparently you can come in and out of garbage time all within the same game.
-
every comeback starts with garbage time but if you pull off the win then they don't talk about it. The offense put up 32 points could have been at 37 had then converted the extra points. Its a stat for weak morning show people who can't throw a pillow across the room.
To me garbage time doesn't start until you can't possibly come back, that's the point. Let's say your down 45-10 with 2 minutes left and drive down for a touchdown- that's garbage time. How can it be garbage time if you can win?
London game will be streamed on Yahoo
