  1. As time passes the more I believe the offense will struggle due to lack of talented WRs.

I like Coleman, but I don't see him being very productive his rookie season.

Simply too much to learn in this offense for a rookie 2nd rounder to step in right away and contribute.

That said, Kincaid could have a monster year as he will likely be the #1 target for the majority of the season.

However, if teams decide to take away Kincaid I'm afrraid the offense will struggle mightily.     They just don't have the weapons.

  2. I don't believe they're done adding at WR.

The only true vet with extended experience is Curtis Samuel.

They'll likely add an older vet sometime later in the summer, closer to training camp.

Tyler Boyd, OBJ, Michael Thomas, Julio Jones... guys long in the tooth, but miight come in for a year on the cheap to play with Josh and tutor the youngsters.

So how will the media play this?  Is it more about what the Cowboys didnt do, or did they just have an emotional let down game.  We all know the Bills will get no credit for this beatdown.

It'll just be "what's wrong with Dallas" all week.... and that's fine.

If he turns his head around sooner he'll be able to play the ball, and potentially intercept it.

But he needs eyes in the back of his head to know that a) the ball has been thrown and b) that its underthrown.

If he turns too soon he risks losing the reciever.

I never played the game, not sure what the proper technique is.. maybe watch his eyes to anticipate the ball arriving?

You have to turn your head around if you are on under coverage and they give you a lot of leeway with contact at that point.  This play doesn't really work in a hail mary situation as you have probably 3 players down field who are watching the WRs and the QB.  They aren't going to get PI on an underthrown ball because they can see the ball as soon as its thrown.

I never understood why that makes a difference... I mean, if you make egregious physical contact with the receiver prior to the ball arriving, that's a penalty... regardless of where your head us facing.

That call on Taron Johnson against Denver.... the ball was underthrown, Johnson was turning a round when he ran into the reciever, i don't understand what Johnson is supposed to do there... if he turns around sooner he allows the receiver to separate.

Get guys one-on-one run a go route and then underthrow by 5 yards... PI every time.

It still takes time for the ball to travel 50+ yards and there's a limited area that the defender has to be able to cover because of sidelines and endlines.  Defenders would have more than enough time to cover and turn and face the ball - this gives them the same right to the ball as the WR, which largely takes PI out of the equation.

It would have to be a timing play, the ball is thrown at the exact moment the WR starts his sprint... he'd have at least a step.. mostly likely 2 or 3 on tthe DB.
