    I have been saying this for months. If Barkley is there at 8 Bills take him, but I think he will be gone. He is the only true starter at qb in the draft, I also think that if he is gone Bills dont draft at qb at all this draft and the take best corner or best lb, Marrone will not hang his coaching start on any other qb in this draft.

    Robert woods would be a excellent pick at #41 ...on the gotta go with defense with the first pick situation I totaly disagree..... Its a QB driven league ......you can draft a linebacker have him become the next von miller and his impact will be minor compared to a Qb that we draft and he turns out to be a pro bowl type Qb....

Finally someone who thinks like I do on barkley.....barkley will be a Perfect fit in buffalo...barkley in a west coast offense is a match made in heaven...has all the tools and smarts you need to excell in this league...as much as I would love barkley being a bill...sadly if the bills dont trade up over cleveland especially arizona we dont have any shot at barkley.....reportedly Arizona is extremely impressed with barkley....:cry:

    I don't see the Bills going after Bowe But Henderson makes a lot of sense... Not enough cap space to go after Bowe...

    ...well if the bills make a few cuts and fitz takes a pay cut also use the roll over money they should be around or even over 30mill under the cap

    Yeah, it has nothing to do with that being combined with his pocket passing skills. As a matter of fact, I've changed my mind. Whoever runs the fastest 40 in the draft, I want us to take him with our first pick, regardless of position and skill level. Then we should sign him to a long term contract, immediatley start him at QB, and give him franchise QB money.

    So, a team with needs that include multiple LBs, multiple WRs, multiple DBs not to mention a possible o-line starter and needed depth, d-line depth, a true NT and a DE capable of playing outside in a 3-4 alignment can be filled in one offseason with starting NFL caliber personnel?

     

    Now let's talk starting QB.

    with my guess I came out with in total 4 Lb,2 Wrs, and a Qb...thats a lot of holes filled..almost all really

    I dont think at all that the bills will be big spenders in FA... I read somewhere that buddy nix will look for players in free agency maybe on the third day or so....by that time all the ""Big name WRs"" should be gone...

    He has been a pocket passer. That's not a knock. If anything its a compliment.

     

    Saying he was a scrambler just isn't accurate. Luck ran a 4.59 too.

     

    It's a nice perk still.

    I tell you this if geno smith is still there by lets say the 5th pick and the bills dont atleast try to trade up I will be extremely upset...no way the browns skip on Geno if he is there.....especially when weeden is on the ""trading block""

    With the draft and Fa coming up soon.. If the bills make a few more cuts they should have around 30+mil under the cap...it is possible to fill these holes it wont be easy but it can be done....we can pick up a few veterans at LB in fa..( Calvin pace and bartt Scott) and in the draft maybe go with WR C patterson from Tennesee at #8 QB Tyler wilson from arkansa at #41..LB khaseem greene from Rutgers...4th rd Chase thomas LB stanford...5th rd WR Cobi hamilton Arkansa......a draft like this could fill in the holes...ehhh I dont know but thats my best guess

    I'm nearly 100% sure that AT THIS POINT, Cordarrelle Patterson would be the pick. So much evidence. He's cementing his stock at the combine.

     

    Nix said he wants to build like the Bengals (WR and QB in the same draft early). We didn't tender two of our WRs.

    hmmmn nix did say that...very interesting two Wrs are gone..My best guess is WR C patterson at #8 and QB Tyler wilson at #41 seeing that it was all smiles on wilsons interview with the bills staff...B-)

    you got the QB/WR combo correct... just not the right QB/WR... here is what we end up doing...

     

    #1) Matt Barkley - QB USC

    #2) Robert Woods - WR USC

     

    OR... if the ball finally bounces in our favor come draft day...

     

    #1) Geno Smith - QB WV

    #2) Tavon Austin - WR WV

     

    either way I am banking we go QB/WR combo and let them mold with CJ and Stevie... get those four on the same page, revamp our defense and we have a playoff team fellas!

    I cant really see geno not going #1 overall but if we had a choice I would go with #8 Geno Smith and #41 Robert woods

     

     

     

    Why not? I feel like we have done the same while chasing RBs and of course defensive backs. :oops::rolleyes:

    Reading retweet from sal cappacio. Matt miller @nfldraftscout. States Barkley will not get past Arizona at 7

    of course he wont get pass by arizona and he shouldnt...i believe barkley will be drafted either 6th or 7th overall no way he makes it to #8....with all this weeden trade talk..and arizona having pro bowl QBs in skelton and lindley its almost guarranteed barkley wont be there at #8....ugggh :cry:

    Lets say bills do indeed draft lane johnson at #8 move cordy to guard to replace andy if he does walk...and then draft Qb tyler wilson at #41 and Wr Darick Rogers at #71..also with the 4th and 5th round picks add two LB maybe Nico johnson from alabama and chase thomas from stanford? would seem like a nice draft day I believe would file some of the holes in this team
