  1. At the start of the second half there was a delay after Indy kicked off to New England. The refs switched a ball out and then went on with the game. That had to be it. Phil Simms stated he thought there was still a kicking ball on the field and that was the delay, but he was clueless. It makes sense as the heavy precipitation was coming in in the second half and the pats could have deflated the ball at halftime.

I remember that specific delay and to be honest with you only one thought went through my mind. The Pats were being checked for a illegal formation or something fishy. At that point I think it was Jim Nance who mentioned the ball issue. I'm sorry but I'm just not surprised.
  2. Back in the mid 95 I found a vhs on his life and it started off when he was a kid in california. It was a very informative film. I actually met him as a kid. I thought for a superstar of his time he was nice and personable. What a shame he turned out to be but I wish football people would stop with the revisionist history when naming the best rb's of all time because he was if not the best, certainty one of the best of all time.

  3. True. But it gives other teams time to figure him out. And what if he isn't the starter next year.

Agree. It seems like that's what happened to Jake Locker when he was at Washington. It costed him millions. Everyone will be gunning for him next year. Looking for weaknesses and exploiting them and don't bother telling me he won't have any.

  4. I've been watching NFL network the whole time since it was announced and it's clear that most including Terrell Davis do not think it will work. I'm a little surprised that they don't think a 9-7 team with Marrone and Hackett can't get another win or two with Rex Ryan and Greg Roman. In my opinion that's a serious upgrade in coaches, but until we beat the Pats when it counts we'll have to accept the non believers.
