  1. I haven't heard McCoy say he didn't want to be here.... I heard LaCanfora or whatever say that and other people ran with it.

he told Josina Anderson "why me?" he's pissed about it and doesn't want to be here. maybe that's something the Bills should have worked out before agreeing to the trade?

  2. There's more to it than simply who won. There are layers to this. McCoy will hold out and play like crap this year if the reports are true that he doesn't want to be here. He isn't ok with this trade. Plus he's a RB with a lot of mileage on his undersized body and we all know that RB's don't play at a very high level in this league for very long. Meanwhile, Kiko has had some injury problems but he's young and he will heal quickly.

I think if McCoy isnt a baby and actually tries this year then the Bills are better off for the 2015 season. But all signs point to McCoy not wanting to be here and holding out so I don't like this deal. Not to mention that he only has a couple of good years left in him so even if he plays at his best he will just naturally decline and Philly ends up with the better player 2-3 yrs down the line.

So Bills probably win for 2015 season assuming McCoy even wants to play. Eagles probably win beyond that

  3. No offense... But this post has very little to do with reality... McCoy in decline? No... Not yet anyway... He's still one of the top 5 RB's in the NFL... He's a great receiver out of the back field... And he has vision and insticts Spiller can only dream of.... I honestly can't see how anyone would have a problem with this deal... And I fully admit Shady pretty much single-handedly won my Fantasy league for me in 2013... So I'm a bit biased... But only a bit... I only want what is best for the Bills... And I think this is very very good...

How did he do in 2014? Oh he declined? At about the time RB's (especially undersized RB's) typically decline? Hmm
  4. McCoy has too many miles on him to carry the rock 30+ times a game. We gave up an every down player in Kiko for 15 carries a game basically. We are still going to need another guy to carry the load. They better get someone in the draft. This is literally the best RB draft of the past decade so I just cant believe how much we gave up for a 7th year RB when the RB of the future will probably still be available with our 2nd or 3rd pick

  5. This would be a good deal if it was fantasy football. But this is real life and Kiko is a better football player at this point than McCoy. This is his 7th year and he's in decline. Not to mention the guy is 200 pounds soaking wet. How is he a ground and pound back? This makes no sense. I'm having flash backs of Spiller up the middle for 1 yard over ans over. I'd be curious to know if this is Whaley just going after a big name or if Roman had any input on this. I would feel better if Roman said this was all part of his plan otherwise I'm going to assume Whaley got taken trading our best young player for an undersized back that is declining

  6. Hoops stole a lot of talent from baseball over the years, you're dead on with that. Especially in the second half of the 20th century, which is part of the reason why there was such a massive influx of latin players in the professional ranks. The game was growing abroad while it has bee dying a slow death at home, going from the national past time to what it is now: a sport that skews to an older demo.

yep I agree. And if anyone in the US gave a crap about soccer we would win all of those FIFA championships too
  7.

Starting to? You're as misinformed about this subject as you are pretty much everything else you post. You know why there hasn't been a heavy weight boxing champion of note in the US for decades? Because all the kids who would have started boxing when they were 10, 11, or 12 became left tackles / defensive ends. American football has been stealing other sports superior athletes since the 80s.

Of course, now with all the concussion information, that is going to change as fewer and fewer parents are allowing their kids to play the sport.

Basketball has been stealing them. A lot of guys are in the NFL because they weren't tall enough for the NBA. If all of the guys that tried to make in basketball and failed played baseball or soccer I bet they would go pro
