And if I took two sips from a $0.39 cup of coffee and threw it away, I wouldn't count it as a loss. I'm not sure you're understanding what I'm saying here.
Also, Mike Williams has been free to sign with any of the 31 other teams for two and a half months now. How's that going?
a miss is a miss. i bet they are wishing they had that 6th round pick instead of Mike Williams on the bench last year.
Why is Bryce Brown a fail? They kept him out of games as we didn't need him and it kept his compensation pick lower. We'll see what he's got this year.
i'll agree that perhaps the jury is still out on him. but nobody can say they were impressed by what they saw from him last year.
-
man. you and i agree on precisely zero.
missed on mike williams? anything that costs later than a third round pick can't be categorized as a "miss," IMO.
and it's WAAAAAAAAAAY too early to close the book on BB.
Mike Williams didn't even sniff the field last year. I would count that as a miss

*RIIIIIIIIING*
"who dis is? I'm just answering so I don't get fined boss"
"yo dis Shady. Da Bills trying to trade for me. I got my agent here to block da deal."
-
all pretty decent. he missed on the Mike Williams and Bryce Brown deals. but how well he did on the others makes up for that
-
So where's your entry to fix all that
I was thinking about starting a thread about which QB we should try and get
-
Didn't the Bills sign a Canisius BB player ?
yea and their first mistake was that he played for Canisius.
think of all of the guys from legit basketball programs that don't make it to the NBA but are super athletic and huge. i bet somet of them might even have some high school football backgrounds but in the end chose basketball. we should be going after them

For some reason, I just have a good feeling about Hughes. If ever there was a player who should be thanking an organization for his stock being so high, it is Hughes. Who knows if players will look past the money but I will remain optimistic until hearing otherwise.
i hope so but he's already said there is no "hometown discount." he wants to make $. if he's smart though, he will stick with this D. he can put up some big numbers over the next few years with these other guys on the line
-
Im thinking today or tomorrow they announce an extension with Hughes
would love that but i think he's going to want to see what else is out there first
-
Saw this on yahoo today. Not sure if it has been posted yet:
Does anyone in the media think we won this trade? Everything I've read says otherwise
-
i'll admit I was pretty taken aback when we shipped off Kiko, but if I was an Eagles fan I would be furious right now. McCoy was their whole offense for the past 5 yrs. this is a pretty ballsy move by both coaches. Rex feels like he will have a great defense even without Kiko and Chip feels like he will have an amazing offense even without McCoy. i'm still waiting on Roman to chime in saying this is exactly the RB he wanted and i'm sure Eagles fans are wondering who the heck is going to be their RB this year
-
Re-sign Hughes then trade him off for Foles
Hughes didn't go to Oregon so Chip won't want him
-
They should just go out and find every athletic 6'8" former basketball player they can and bring them all in for a tryout and sign whoever they think is the best and bring them to training camp. I'm totally serious

The Bills trade EJ for Cutler and the Bears eat 5M of Cutler's contract.
EJ for Cutler's wife...
-
can we please change the title of this thread? this makes my heart ache every time i read it
-
Mario Williams for Aaron Rodgers
-
Harris, Boling, apparently we are getting Vernon Davis, sign Hughes, then we just need a Safety but I think they like Duke apparently
-
-
Change the title please. You are crushing people's dreams
-
Locker has never played more than 11 games in an NFL season
it's bound to happen sooner or later. and if it doesn't then you have Cassel and EJ
-
as he said on the show "he never got off (the bandwagon)"

Jake Locker
I think they sign him and it will be Manuel v. Locker v. Cassel. And between his natural ability, him fitting perfect for Roman's style offense, more weapons than he ever had in Tennessee, and his career being on the line - he wins.
However, if Locker can't be brought in i'd say they should draft Garrett Grayson as the 3rd QB. In that scenario - I give the edge to Matt Cassel.
I think most of the board is in agreement on Locker. We usually don't all agree on things. I think the Bills have to make this happen
Locker is probably a long shot unless EJ does end up getting cut. He is going to want some certainty in regards to the competition and, barring him being told that they are cutting ties with EJ, having Cassel and Manuel on the roster doesn't offer much certainty on his place on the depth chart.
I don't think he needs any certainty. There's not a lot of teams to go to. The Bills are good and will give him a legit shot at being the starting QB. That should be all the incentive he needs
-
McCoy and Fred as it stands. Although I'm hoping they draft a guy in the 3rd. I don't think Boobie should be carrying the ball unless it's short yardage. Brown hasn't shown anything as of yet to even be on the team unfortunately
-
I'm going to say over...as in 20.1 points per game! Although there is too much uncertainty given we haven't even entered free agency yet. We are hopefully adding a Guard, TE, and another QB. But the plan is probably to keep the opposing team offense to under 20 either way
-
Sign Jake Locker. Draft Petty. Let them all fight to the death!

We need that #25 jersey for another guy now
