  1. NO. Most overrated, overhyped player in the history of the NFL draft

I think that's a bit extreme. More so than Jemarcus Russell? How about Denver trading all of their picks to get Tebow? Those are just a couple of examples in the past few years
  2. I don't get the Jets draft at all.

I know they said they got 2 out of their top 4 rated players, but I'm having a hard time believing that.

They replaced Revis with a guy that's been said could be the next Revis for a lot cheaper than 16 mil a year plus they got another free pick. I think they got the right guys. I love that we took Austin away from them. F the Jets

  3. Maybe Te'o doesn't exist at all. Have any of you met him in person? I've only read about him on the Internet and when I told him to meet me he didn't show up. I heard he was a LB for ND but when I watched their game vs Alabama I didn't see him. Their RB's ran right up the middle all night and there was no one there to stop them. I think we are all getting catfished!!!

  4.

In the presser right after Marrone looked visibly annoyed. Not sure if it was the pick or the dumbass questions being asked by the press that caused the annoyance though.

Yep I don't think this is who he wanted and that makes me nervous. I think Nix saw a talent that COULD BE great given his natural size and ability. He has the highest ceiling but he's also a huge risk IMO. I think that's too much of a gamble at 16th overall

  5. I was indifferent on the pick until I heard it was Nix's pick. I would have felt better if Marrone and Hackett wanted him based on the offense they want to run. That would have made sense to me. Now that they came out and said it was Nix who picked him based on his upside alone, I don't like it. They needed to trade down 1 more time before taking a guy based on his potential

  6. I was doing a dance when we traded down. Great move and it also kept Tavon Austin out of Jets uniform. One of my favorite moves in a long time! Then having every QB still on the board, everything was going our way.

But when they said EJ I was like woah. I stood up and just stood there for a second like wtf just happened. That seemed to come out of nowhere. I can certainly see the upside. This guy is very athletic but at the same time very raw. But if that's who they wanted after evaluating everyone then fine. I think it says a lot about the kind of offense they want to run.

So I'm still kind of in shock. But if they got their guy then good. I would be a lot more happy today if they traded down 1 more time and got San Fran's 1st and 2nd rounder for example. Nobody from 17-32 was picking a QB. With Eiffert still out there and a few of the D lineman, I would have thought our pick was valuable but maybe nobody was all that interested in trading down who knows. Would love to hear more on why they didn't trade down one more time. Seemed like a no brainer.

But if they got their guy then good, they have no excuses now. If he doesn't pan out then everyone gets fired. I guess we'll see...

  7. No you don't get it. His RELEVANT experience is playing in a dome. I don't care about pee-wee or sand lot. Yes he grew up in PA and I'm sure that he played in his backyard when there was snow on the ground. That doesn't make him better at it. It also doesn't show or prove that he can do it. You are knocking one person for not playing in the elements while crediting someone else who plays in a dome. It just doesn't make any sense. Unless you think that every kid who grew up in the northeast is good at playing in the snow because they have done it before you haven't brought any proof to your argument.

Like I said, READ. I never said anyone was better than anyone at it. I said he has experience. You got what you wanted out of what I said. They might look at Nassib and say wow he sucks when he plays in snow. That's up to the scouts to decide. They don't have any info on Barkley in those conditions so it's a question mark
  8. I saw 1 picture of him playing in snow in high school. I'm glad that you have pee wee, hs, and sandlot experience. That has NOTHING to do with facing down a pass rush of people bigger, faster, and stronger than you that want to hurt you or how Ryan Nassib will handle the elements.

It has been stated over and over again (but you prob still won't listen) many if not all qbs struggle in cold weather, any game that will effect the qb of the Bills will effect the qb of the other team as well, we play maybe 1 or 2 games a year where weather is even a factor, most football players regardless of position are from warm weather climates, Nassib played the majority of his games in a dome not in the elements, and Nassib struggled in the pinstripe bowl while playing in the elements (11-23 for 130 yards).

HS football ends in late october/early november, SU practices and plays in a dome, geography does not neccesitate elements.

I think you need to re-read this. I've already addressed the "he's a dome qb" argument. Let's move on
  9. Many times? What's many times? And I didn't realize playing in snow in High School, translates to playing in crap conditions in the NFL. High school season's are roughly 8-game seasons... Maybe 2 of those were snow for Nassib... So if he started all 4 years in High School, maybe he played in 8? maybe...

All experience is good. As I just said in that post you quoted, I have played 100's of times in the snow growing up and I'm sure I haven't played as much as these guys have especially with practices and workouts etc. Nassib has plenty of experience in the snow as all QB's growing up in the northeast do
  10. Nassib plays in a dome. Where conditions are more perfect than they are in socal. There is no wind, no shadow games to play, and certainly no cold or rain.

Great, can you read above where we then went into a discussion about how Nassib grew up in PA and has played in the snow many times? I'm not as experienced as any of these guys (clearly) but I've played in the snow probably 100's of times between pee wee, high school, sandlot games, etc. Growing up in the northeast as well, I'm sure Nassib has plenty of experience and game tape out there of him playing in the snow for the scouts to examine
