Buffalo is a hockey first town. Football is second.

Oh back in the day I saw Bryce Paup walk into Champs sports at the mall. Dude was HUGE. I doubt they had any clothes that fit him but he was still looking

I was behind Ryan Miller in line at Wegmans on Amherst St in Buffalo. I didn't realize it was him at first, I was just like this guy in front of me is really tall and skinny. Then people kept coming up to him to get autographs and I was like ohhh It's Ryan Miller. I felt bad for him. He was just a normal dude like myself that just threw a hat on and ran to the store to get some food quick. I would hate it if I had to deal with people coming up to me while I'm trying to buy milk and sandwich meat. What's the point of getting an autograph on a piece of paper anyways? Who cares? People should leave these guys alone when they see them around town. They are just people like you and me.

Bail DENIED! Did you see the idiot Pat fans chanting "INNOCENT" as they drove him away back to jail for the unforeseeable future? Even if they can't get the murder charge to stick, he's definitely not innocent. I hate Pats fans even more after seeing that

i'm kind of bummed they released him. this would have been one heck of a distraction for them during camp. now I guess it will be back to talking about Tebow
-
i'd be down for the Bills doing something extreme with Nike like the Seahawks did last year. it doesn't have to be permanent but just switch it up every now and then. it would help our fan base in areas outside of WNY if we had the "cool" jerseys for once
-
At least Tebow isn't going to end up being a big distraction like some people feared. The Pats have that going for them at least

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Hernandez pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
Classic! Love that movie

if anything he's definitely giving us 100%. they were talking about how hard of a worker he is on the John Murphy show. glad to see a rookie that doesn't think he's entitled now that he's "made it" and is willing to put in the work to get better

Boring. I was hoping for Tampa. They seem to be an interesting up and coming team. I wouldn't have minded the J-E-T-S again. They are a train wreck and that typically makes for the best reality TV

false alarm?

thank god for the new rookie pay scale. remember how much the Rams had to pay to sign Bradford? being the first QB off the board, Manuel could have demanded some serious money if this was a few years ago

Oh how the tables have turned. This time last year I think everyone would have said FRED was the best and Spiller was a bust. Let's see if CJ can duplicate last year's success before we annoint him the savior.
I think the best player on the team is Kyle Williams

Ralph is cheap.
WHAT?!! Since when?

Jim autographed my jersey in 1991 I think and now the marker has faded away so I wear it again haha. That jersey + zubaz pants = winningNice, but it would be nice to have one to wear that wasn't autographed

I ordered my #4 jersey! SUPERBOWL!!!

of all of the bad habits out there, I can't believe people still chew tobacco. that stuff is bad news. best case - your teeth and gums are going to be all jacked up and you are going to look homeless. and I think we all know worst case. if anyone here chews take a second to consider not only how bad it will affect you, but the ones you care about as well. I don't want to sound like an after school special but maybe seeing this happen to a superman like Jim will stop at least one Bills fan from chewing. again, we don't know all of the facts but it's a good lesson learn either way. best wishes to Jim. he was my hero as a kid so get well soon!

Hopefully day 1 the financial advisors showed him how to put a condom on. As for the financial planning, I really hope he can stick with it and shows guys how to be smart with their money. I hate seeing these players sign $40 million contracts and a few years after retiring are completely broke. I get it, they are poor their whole lives and then overnight they get ridiculous money that we could only dream of and they don't know how to handle it. Maybe he can help start a new trend and show these young guys the right way to do things.
Personally, I think the NFLPA should invoke a mandatory retirement plan for all players where 10-20% of your contract gets diverted into a 401k acct that the players can't touch for a certain number of years after retiring and then it pays it out in small portions like a paycheck. That would help solve a lot of these issues and help mend the bad stigma of the broke athletes that the NFL wants to distance itself from

I jump up off the couch and run around the living room while doing this stuff so at least this guy isn't as bad as me. I can't sit still

i'd go to the open house just to see if he has a closet full of flutie flakes

really? you want to have a bad year to get a pass rusher . The only position worth tanking for is QB, All the others can be found elsewhere.
this might come as a shocker but we are going to tank regardless. i don't see any sure thing wins on this schedule. might as well get a future pro bowler out of it. plus, he's not a sure thing #1 pick imo. Teams at the top always want a QB and there are a couple of good ones in this coming draft

Clowney or bust! It will be like when we got Bruce

maybe he's asking him how to be a good backup behind a veteran QB. Rodgers was a backup for 3 yrs before getting his chance and is a good case study on how to bring a QB along rather than throwing someone out there and hoping for the best and possibly killing a kid's confidence (which I hope doesn't happen with Manuel). i'm no kevin kolb fan but I think Manuel can benefit from a year of sitting and learning
