  1. ESPN is reporting that Tom Brady just left the joint practice today with the Bucs with a knee injury. It's the same leg he injured in '08. Not sure how serious it is yet but this could be big news. Stay tuned...

What is your basis for that statement? Provide a link. Or is that just another negative "I hate Kolb for no reason whatsoever" comment?

It has become very obvious to me that you hate Kolb for no reason. You sound like a guy that really doesn't know very much about football.

You'll call him out for 1, 2, maybe even 5 years and once he's gone you'll say..."told ya so".

Let things play out, man ! Kolb may well end up being a very valuable addition to this franchise when its all said and done.

Kevin is that you? C'mon man quit trollin the TBD forums and get back on the field. Jeff Tuel is going to take your roster spot!

  3. Excited to see how the up-tempo offense looks today (and the new defense too for that matter). As stated, it's EJ's job to lose at this point. I think as long as he doesn't have any mark sanchez butt fumble moments and can show that he can move the ball down the field he will be our day 1 starter. What I want to see out of him is footwork (no happy feet) and making good decisions with the football (don't force the ball and checking down if someone is covered). Also hopefully they told him to just throw the ball away if it's not there. I know he can run but that's the last thing you want your franchise qb doing in the pre-season. Can't wait to see how it goes today!

  4. Talking about this movie now on Sports Center. They did a piece on it and it actually looks like its going to be pretty good. The sportscaster even mentioned that it was supposed to be about the Bills but they changed it to the Browns at the last min. Bummer, would have loved to have the Bills get some national attention for once

  5. LOL -- sorry, that made me laugh out loud. Aaron Rodgers coming in to the league behind a future HOFer is nothing at all like the open competition EJ has been drafted into with a journeyman like Kolb.

actually it is because the point I'm trying to make is don't just throw a kid out there and expect him to perform. that's a good way to kill someone's confidence fast. and brett favre was on the decline. the pack was 4-12 Rodgers first year as a backup so it wasn't like favre was doing so amazing that they couldn't turn to their 1st rounder. but that's not the point. the point is I don't think they need to rush things with EJ. if he's not ready then he's not ready

  6. maybe he's asking him how to be a good backup behind a veteran QB. Rodgers was a backup for 3 yrs before getting his chance and is a good case study on how to bring a QB along rather than throwing someone out there and hoping for the best and possibly killing a kid's confidence (which I hope doesn't happen with Manuel). i'm no kevin kolb fan but I think Manuel can benefit from a year of sitting and learning

  7. I was behind Ryan Miller in line at Wegmans on Amherst St in Buffalo. I didn't realize it was him at first, I was just like this guy in front of me is really tall and skinny. Then people kept coming up to him to get autographs and I was like ohhh It's Ryan Miller. I felt bad for him. He was just a normal dude like myself that just threw a hat on and ran to the store to get some food quick. I would hate it if I had to deal with people coming up to me while I'm trying to buy milk and sandwich meat. What's the point of getting an autograph on a piece of paper anyways? Who cares? People should leave these guys alone when they see them around town. They are just people like you and me.
