It will be interesting to see how Coleman, Worthy, Legette, and McConkey compare in a few years. Beane better hope he pans out because Coleman will always be compared to those receivers and AD Mitchell.

I mainly have issue with the trade with the Chiefs more than anything.

I’m okay with this trade Beane made. First pick of round two.

WGR is saying that the Bills might try to trade back again
I was thinking that’s probably what Beane would do in order to pick up more picks. Just means I stayed up for nothing.

You know what, now is a good time to spill the beans on what I was told last year - In the home Patriots game, Diggs chose to sit out the first drive of the 2nd half because he was upset with Allen's play in the 1st half. It wasn't an injury or part of the game plan. He decided to screw over his team and sit out a drive because he couldn't get over himself.
I suspect other stories like this will come out in the coming days. A couple aren't mine to tell. Guy was a total headcase and a major distraction in more ways than one.
If that’s the case then good riddance. There has to be more since Beane and Josh have been giving him votes of confidence in the media. Diggs will have a good year with Houston but then fall off the map. I don’t think he will pull that with Ryan as his coach but who knows because once a diva always a diva.

Gigantic cap hit
Unless Houston decides to eat his whole contract. That’s the only way this makes sense if possible but if not it just says Diggs was a huge problem for the team.

Don’t be surprised if the Bills grab saftey Tykee smith from Georgia in the middle rounds. He was an All American at WVU and when Addae left WVU for the job at Georgia he took Tykee Smith with him.

He would be the one player who played under Addae who I think the Bills would target. He did have a good year for Georgia this past season.

Which makes me wonder…..did he help create 2 NFL DB’s, or did he look good because he had 2 studs to rely on. 🤷♂️
I kid, mostly, because it takes some of both, but that is encouraging news.
I will say Stevenson was getting drafted regardless of who the coach was. He was a talented player.

Was horrendous at Miami, and the recruiting was subpar. Right now I think this might be the worst hire by McDermott
Maybe but that can be an outlier as he was good at WVU before Georgia so I wouldn’t put too much stock in his stint at Miami. We will see as he has been more good than bad at the college level.
-
Overall, he was known to be a good DB Coach at the college level. I didn’t follow him at Miami so I don’t know about his stint there, but prior to that he was known as a good DB Coach and recruiter. When he was at Georgia he was good however, with Kirby as the HC DB’s will be good more times than not. I do know Kirby didn’t try too hard to keep him when he left Georgia and went to Miami. Time will tell how he does at the NFL level.

Praying for strength for you and your family on this day Scott.

Yea Mitchell is good. And he has arguably the best hands in the class. He just leaves me a bit cold. I think he is really solid. But not sure I see the ceiling of some of the other guys.
The one year point on Legette is totally fair.
I get it on AD not being a burner but all he does is get open. I think he is being undervalued by some and believe he will be very successful in the league. He is a football player. The one knock I would have on him is durability. He was hurt 2 out of 3 years in college.
It’s all good and maybe I am just biased as a Georgia fan.

I’m sorry and offer condolences to you and your family. I’m still praying for you and your wife and for a miracle.

Bowers will be gone before the Jets pick and he is also from UGA not Bama. I will be shocked if the Jets don’t go OL.
Falcons won’t draft McConkey because they rarely take players from UGA. what the issue is no one knows.
I am not sold on Legette in the first round due to him having only one year of production. He will probably be drafted in the first I just hope it’s not the Bills drafting him.
Thank you for your mock draft.

We all knew the job was going to Brady especially after the endorsement of Josh and the rest of the offense. I don’t hate it but don’t like the fact a more thorough search wasn’t done. While there could have been a worse hire made in typical Bills fashion this is the safest hire.
-
Shakir staying in his current role and adding a deep threat who will one day become the main threat is what will make the offense more successful. The idea should be to give Josh as many weapons as possible. Moving Shakir to wr2 does not do that imo.
-
I know the need for a receiver but unless they sign a veteran safety they will probably take a safety because that will be a need also. With the depth of receivers in this draft I say go safety at 28 and trade up in the second and draft a receiver.
I think AD Mitchell of Texas may be available in the second but the Bills will probably have to trade up in the second to get him.

At 28, I'd probably prefer WR. The three I'm currently looking at around there are Troy Franklin, Brian Thomas Jr., and Ladd McConkey. They seem to check more of the boxes that I'm looking for than most, though I am a bit concerned about McConkey's lack of reps against man coverage since it feels like we have a lot of zone beaters right now. So might be more of a focus on Franklin and Thomas in the first round for me.
As a Georgia fan I would not take McConkey in the first round. Too many injuries at the college level. I would take him in the second round.

Diggs needs to be gone and wants to be gone but I don’t know how they get it done without the Bills taking the hit. If the Bills can get a 2nd for him without going too far into the whole I say take it. Heck, I will give him up for a 3rd.

Totally forgot about his fumble.
So Diggs contributions today were 3 catches, 2 drops and 1 fumble.
Not great.
Diggs looked like he was just going through the motions.

The play for Shakir was there if Allen doesn’t get hit. Yes, Diggs was open but maybe Allen may have trusted Shakir more than Diggs. He would never admit it but maybe he treated Shakir as WR1. With the exception of one play Diggs had been trash all game.

This is a great pick. I was hoping the Bills would draft him.
