  1. One peculiar fact about this game I never see mentioned is that Brady's four interceptions came on two back-to-back throws.

1st pick: Brady's last pass of the 1st half, which led to Bills' FG to end the half.

2nd pick: Brady's first throw of the 3rd quarter.

3rd pick: Wilson snares it from Gronk and the Bills drive for a TD to make it 24-24.

4th pick: Brady's very next pass, tipped and returned for six by Florence.

I just find this very interesting, and probably pretty rare.

I never noticed that. I know the announcers said Brady got intercepted back-to-back for the first pair but I didn't even notice the second pair until right now.

  2. That is great to here & to all of the Kelsay haters , who was the guy putting the pressure on Teabow ??? That's right , so even with all the new guys we know that Mr. Kelsay is going to be out there putting on the opponent like he has been doing for a long time --- EVERY PLAY !!!

Well according to that one Youtube video posted on here about a month ago, it was their RT's fault for Tebow getting sacked.

  3. So we should not play to our strengths on 3rd and short because "everyone else is doing it"?

The motivation of peer pressure is something, isn't it? :wallbash:

But I don't see why we can't run it just because everyone is passing it. We should stand out from the croud, not join it. Joining the crowd just makes the other team's job easier. If they just practiced playing a passing team the week before, it would be harder for them to make a game plan to beat us if we were a running team.

In closing, lets start a new trend; lets run the ball and make the playoffs, two things that haven't happened in the NFL for a while.

  4. I read on Chris Brown's blog that Potter was doing an excellent job kicking the ball out of the endzone. My question is this, if your kicker has such a powerful leg, why not tell him to kick it a little bit higher?

This allows more hangtime, which means our guys can get farther down the field before the returner can return it. If the ball lands somewhere around the 1-4 yard line, there would be no opporutunity for a touchback and he can't really return it because our guys are all ready on top of him. Tell me what you guys think because this has been a question I always ask to myself since I started watching football.

  5. I think one of the three: Thiggy, Young or Smith are cut after camp. If Smith can't emerge as a #2 WR my guess is he's gone. Way too expensive to keep. Can't throw. His wildcat was pathetic. Thiggy is prob gone also with Richmond QB as "Emergency QB."

How was Smith's wild cat pathetic? Everytime there was a third and short, he got the first down. I believe Chan didn't call it as much because Smith was playing WR and he wanted to give him a break.

  6. If he was discovered five years ago, he would be an aged RB who peaked on a team without a definite quaterback and a solid defense.

If anything, this is a perfect time to peak for an RB because you have the defense being built up and coach that will stick to one QB; whether its the right QB or not, that's for another thread.

  7. When I clicked on this link I immediately looked for 19-0 to put as my vote. :worthy: I figured the next best thing was the super bowl. I'd be pissed at 16-0 it would mean we went undefeated and lost the first playoff game at home!

You could have chosen 16-0 and then put Win Super Bowl.

So I guess Senator's not going to like this but I put 12-4 or 13-3. I did put win super bowl however since I am such a realist!! :nana:

  8. Dennis Dixon, Billy Volek, hell even 41-yr old Mark Brunell. As shocking as it sounds, Tyler Thigpen. You know as bad as Thigpen played last year, at least I can go back and point out one good season he had throwing the football.

Call me a traditionalist, but I like QBs who are able to throw. Vince Young cannot throw a football. He's never thrown for more than 12 TDs in a season. He failed miserably as a backup in Philadelphia last year, and that's the player you're getting. Please don't bring up his record with TEN, as someone else just pointed out, the resurrected corpse of Kerry Collins led them to a 13-3 record when he got hurt.

You tradistionalist, you! Thinking that people want to see QB's that can throw, bah! Todays NFL is all about excitement and getting people to watch!!1

  9. I've watched the video 426 times so I wasn't sure if I should vote...

And as long as we are complaining, under the video of Gilmore, there is the new Bills schedule. In the top left corner of the schedule is a calendar with the date of Sep 7. This frustrates me to no end since that date is neither the first game of the season, which is on the 9th, or today's date so I think some one should change it accordingly. :P
