not worth it to note that Bojorquez held the ball with the laces mostly in?

Also, even if he had made that XP, I had argued in favor of going for 2, based on the fact that when Gruden went for the FG as opposed to going for it on 4th, his mindset was that next possession, if LV scored a TD, they’d go for 2 and tie it (assuming a bills TD). So if we went for 2 on that TD, we would’ve made it a two score

    game.

I mean, Josh is My Guy, but from a cold dispassionate 30,000 feet perspective, I need to see a whole season

We have seen a guy have a hot start with 5 great games, get a contract, and then suck, right?

Yeah. Sure. But we haven’t, in the past 20-25 years, seen a QB take this team to a playoff game and then have a hot start the next season.

heck - Trent was in mvp conversations

but josh has all the tools and as he strings games together I’ll be less likely to doubt. Still just 2 weeks and against bad teams but he is truly playing like “the guy” right now

Trent ever lead us to the postseason? Btw there was never Trent MVP heat. FJ in 2011, sure but not Trentative.

  3. It's the first thing I thought of when it happened.

There was also a game in I believe 1996 where Jim Kelly threw a pick-six to Terrell Buckley against the Dolphins. Buckley returned it 91 yards for a score. Different situation, as this was a 4th and goal from the 11 or something similar, but Kelly actually threw the pick six in this one, and it was in the last few moments of the game with the game on the line. I didn't look too hard for a link, but I did find the Wikipedia:

  4. it's been said before and i am sure it'll be said again...this man has a heart that the grinch would be jealous of. after it grew ten sizes that day. fred jackson has a true warrior's soul. so glad he is on this team.

I put this on my personal Facebook and I will copy it here because it's relevant:

Just watched Fred's td and the aftermath of it for the first time (saw every drive of the game but this one due to "work", which is another story). First, the guy hits the hole (or lack thereof) wonderfully and weaves and darts into the end zone, jumps into the stands and almost gets lost in there while getting pummeled by delirious/drunk fans. Awesome. Then CBS shows the PAT and comes back to show FJ slapping up Frank Summers and yelling something, then he begins to nod his head to and I believe sing the shout song. You tell me this guy doesn't love being a Buffalo Bill, that he isn't a Buffalo Bill through and through! How many Bills players ever can you say that about? I'm sure a few, but not many. I want Fred in my foxhole every week and every day of the week.

  5. It's a typo. And to suggest that Frasier is some moron from the street whose opinion doesn't deserve your attention is ignorant. He's well respected around the league...

No, it's more than likely what Frazier said verbatim. In the industry (news), you transcribe the exact words coming out of the mouth of your interview subject aka the person you're quoting. In this case, that would be Frazier.

  6. Richard? And throw in his pal Hammerstein for good measure!

Who knows, maybe the Bills will put it all together and have a Cinderella season!

Get it done Dougie! Drive it home w/one headlight!

+100 ...easily the best post I have seen on here. That's all.

    P.S.

    Paul?

then they shoulda called it occams bic

    +1

  7. yeah punter is hard. but i remember spike jones and he certainly wasnt a great one. so why not, sounds good to me

i didnt think coy wire was that bad really. struggled in coverage thats for sure, but was a hard hitter and very sure tackler. cant beat out ko millions anyway

so at least we got a full roster now

id say the weakest of the bunch (meaning we should be able to find somebody worse) are M/ILB Degiorio (not terrible, very short career due to injury), and FS Travares Tillman (not very good but not awful)

should be able to come up with somebody worse than FB Booker Moore, too

    Maybe Carwell gardner for FB?

If not him, then what about Daimon Shelton?

  8. And they are still the worst in the league!

That is false, objectively, the worst teams in the league by record are the Browns, Chiefs, and Jaguars. Two of the three were beaten soundly by the Bills. Oh, and I'm from Buffalo, and I love the city, and the Bills, got a good job here after going to Syracuse for college, have lived here my entire 23 years, and will hopefully be fortunate enough as my career continues to never have to move. Because I love Buffalo. So anyone who can't find a good job, or says Buffalo is dying, think again. Buffalo is rising from what it has been as of late, and you'll see in the next few years once we have a new stadium and a burgeoning waterfront, and the same charm we have always had. Even if the Bills do move, the situation will be such in Buffalo that the city would eventually get a different franchise. But the Bills aren't going anywhere. Too many true blue Western New Yorkers and Buffalo-lovers are in positions of power and wealth, and those folks will make sure the team doesn't move. If it did, I wouldn't cheer for them or any team, until the new team came. But like I hypothesized, the team is not moving.
