The Bills will top Miami this year. Dolphins are a mess and Bills at least have a direction this year.

I agree, they are just being cautious. I do have the feeling Merriman will not last the whole season. I will be surprised if he makes it through 6 games.

Maybin will never play against any team. The Jets have enough OLBs. Yet, I wouldnt be suprised if the Jets play him against us just to try and send a message. Let him in on a couple of those crazy blitz packages they run and try to get him to sack Fitz in spite. Watch Spiller pancake him LOL. One year wonder out of Penn State, has something to prove to EVERYONE!

If we ever traded Spiller, knowing the Bills reputation, he would go to another team and rush for 1500 yards his first year.

I agree. Gailey played 5 guys at QB last night. The audacity he displayed by proving that he could try to beat the Bears using 5 different quarterbacks in the same game is laughable. If we have any chance at all the rest of this preseason, we need to just stick with using 3 or fewer quarterbacks and start running the entire playbook, not just all these crazy gadget plays that teams showcase in the preseason to plant seeds in the heads of regular season opponents to make them devote at least a little bit of preparation to them. Open up the playbook, show your bread and butter plays and get ready for next week, let's get back to .500!!!!
I do not agree with this garbage. He played 5 qbs because they have 5 qbs to evaluate. Nothing to do with ego. Its preseason, you want to know what guys can do on the field opposed to practice. I think Levi will be cut or on the practice squad by the start of the season. I wouldn't show my "bread and butter" plays until I know who I'm keeping and who I'm cutting. Just preseason, remember. Last thing I would criticize is how many qbs Gailey used in a preseason game. Its all about evaluation.

Rosevelt, Fred Jackson, Edwards, Spencer Johnson, Merriman, Stevie Johnson, Alex Carrington all played well tonight.

It won't be televised on the NFL ticket, and they are not showing the game on the NFL network tonight (they may show clips). The NFL network will be airing the game in it's entirety at 7pm ET tomorrow.
Time warner will be showing it on one of the locals.

With the additions of Thigpen and Brad Smith I expect the offense will be more exciting this year. Hope to see alot of wildcat and pistol. Gailey loves mobile qbs and trick plays, along with spreading the field with speed. Id say better than lame. I am concerned with our O-line though.
It seems we concentrated more on the defensive side of the ball than offense. But we needed it.

I agree he is threat any time he touches the ball. Very quick and explosive player to watch! I remember when he had his 2,000 yard season he asked for a contract renegotiation then. He kind of ruins it for me with that stupid hair and that GRILL!

Buffalo right now isnt getting the national coverage of media because they arent contending. Goodell may have suggested Philly for PR and media attention. Why put him on a team that wouldnt be a nice story for a come back?
