So I've been wrestling with signing up with Directv to watch the Bills, but I don't want a whole subscription, dish, fees, etc. I heard about their mobile offering, basically you can add NFL Sunday Ticket to go and watch all of the games on iPads, laptops etc. If you wanted, you could use an HDMI cord and transfer it to your TV.
Anyways, I have found a talk track to simply pay for NFL Sunday Ticket JUST to get "NFL Sunday Ticket to go" without signing up for Directv. That cost would be the same as the NFL Sunday ticket mid-$300s, plus the NFL to go 9.99. With no dish, no contract, nothing. The way around it is, as long as you've never had dish before, to say that you are renting and your landlord will not allow for a dish to be placed on the property. But still mention that you want NFL Sunday Ticket. If you have had a dish, a friend of mine used the line that he was, "working on the road for the majority of the season, and wouldn't be home enough." and they gave it to him. It's case by case, but it would save a ton of money.
Is anyone aware of other ways around having to actually get Directv.
