All I know about Beckham is he is more similar to the types of wr we already have on this team and would not give the bills something they don't already have. Mike Evans bring size and speed, we don't have a wr that is anything like Evans.I have been thinking a lot about beckman, and the thought that we don't need another small explosive reciever.
First Beckman is not really small, a tick under 6 feet. Second,Woods williams and stevie are the current top 3 and none would be considered small and explosive. Goodwin is small and fast , an I am a big fan but I don't think he is ever going to be a number one.
Beckham is a potential number 1. He catches everything and runs well after the catch. He would add and element that the club currently doesn't have .
While Beckham would not be my dream scenerio I have to say picking him over Martin works for me. Matin is a fine o lineman but does he offer that much value in comparison to the second round options that should be avialable ? I don't think so

If we draft Odell Beckham with any of our picks I'm gonna lose my sh*t!!! He may be good but we don't need another small explosive receiver.
-
If he's there, the bills will take Carlos Hyde in the second round.

How about we keep cj and utilize him to the best of his abilities. This is crazy that we want to get rid of a guy who has all the talent in the world but we don't want to make the adjustments to maximize his potential. He is by far our best offensive player.

Hey, I'm looking for another "let's get rid of Stevie Johnson thread" is this the right place??
-
I think between ol and wr they are going to take whichever position is deeper in the second or third round unless someone drops like Watkins or mack (not happening). From what I'm hearing it sounds like the ol is especially deep in this draft, so I'm guessing they go wr in the first then best ol in the second.

Are the Bills playing money ball with these average to below average FA's?? Do each of these guys do something specific that the bills were lacking in last year??All of the players in the movie got on base, so I'm wondering if our "analytics dept" keyed in on a specific stat or strength the FA's bring. Just a thought.

Good. I hope the pats pick him up. If he was as good as he was before his injury he wouldn't have been released by the bucs.

6 years 48.5 million, $30 mil guaranteed. Philadelphia eagles.

Ebron looks enticing!! TE in the top ten?? We haven't had a playmaker at TE in years. He would open up the field for some our wrs and even get c.j. some space to run.
This kid Colt Lyerla from Oregon could be a late round pick. Had some off the field problems (sounds like a LB we have) .

Byrd stated he wanted to play on a "winning" team which Cleveland has been about as much as our Bills. Money is definitely a factor and I think we should pay him, but we also don't want someone on our team the is a constant distraction in which I would gladly accept Cleveland's 1st rounder.

I feel like if schwartz does well this year he will be around for a while as long as Marrone is here. I don't see him getting a lot of attention for a head coaching job anytime soon, definitely not after one year. So the positive is some consistency on the coaching staff. Still sad to see Pettine go though.

If that we our offseason I would be thrilled. I'm on record as not being a hogan fan and with the additions of Watkins and Britt there is no reason to keep him around. On the flip side I think that Leonard adds to the defense (he's so smart). Flip flop those 2 and that offseason would be unbelievable.
This. All day!! Even if a few of them happen it would be a win.*cracks knuckles*
Okay, here is my very early mock offseason. I reserve the right to change and edit this post every few minutes, dependent on team happenings.

10* Greg Robinson Auburn, sophomore (RS) 6-5, 305 OT Robinson did have one costly holding penalty in the BCS title game. Aside from that, he continued to show why some people believe he could be the first offensive lineman taken come May. His potential is through the roof.
Kiper has us taking this kid out of Auburn. I wouldn't be too upset with this considering we do need help on the O line, but we need a big WR to help EJ. Mike Evans all day!

Absolutely, We don't owe E.J. anything and the NFL is a tough business so I'm not worried about hurting his feelings if the Bills did decide to draft another QB. As far as I'm concerned the Bills should draft a QB every year until we have "our guy". I think you make a great point about A.J. I just don't see him making it to round 3 or 4 honestly. Some desperate team will take a chance on him early, especially if the other top rated QB's stay in school.

I was also at the Tampa game right behind the bills bench! Thank God for the great weather otherwise I would have left that game even more disapointed than I already was. Brooks was Getting real fired up at that fan!! That just showed me the overall frustration from both fans and players. That was the worst game I have ever attended as far as the play on the field goes.I was at the Bucs game as well.. 8 rows behind the Bills bench and these were the highlights
1. Freddy showing legit heart trying to fire people up during most of the first half.
2. Pettine turned around to face crowd for a good 15 seconds during a stoppage in play, looking completely beaten
3. Marrone and my friend was adamant about this.. did not talk to a single player for almost an quarter in the 2nd half.. just pacing around staring at his shoes.
4. A bills fan, who had enough beer and enough of the losing.. really got into it with Brooks... Brooks had to be calmed down by teammates and we were a section over so I couldn't hear what it was about
5. Met some great fans in the section and around the tampa area for the weekend
Go Bills

I'm going to the Bucs game. Sitting front row right behind the Bills Sideline. I'll be wearing the Defensive rookie of the year jersey. I just wish the game was a little more meaningful.

From Twitter
The frustration's mutual. However, the longer we hold on to negative emotions - the longer we'll have to deal with them. • Forever Love

It's a barter system. Goods for ServicesSomebody got a hummer for a Kiko jersey....that is the kind of respect that matters.

In 2009 if you put Brian Orakpo at the top of that list instead of Maybin like they should have done, that would have been and amazing draft.

Available at http://siriusxm.com/ondemand RT @AdamSchein: Incredibly entertaining spot with Marrone. Great stories on Brees, Thad Lewis, and Mario. You need to have an accont with sirius radio to access it unfortunately.

Does anyone know what that call was at the beginning of the game on Kiko?? Even the announcers had no idea what it was.

If you went into this season with the mentality that it was playoffs or failure, then yes, you could be disappointed with this season. If you had a realistic outlook based on the progression of our rookies developing and our coaching staff getting the most out of a group of young talented players, then this season is nowhere near over. I personally was excited for this season because of all of the "Newness" in the franchise. As far as I am concerned, if game 16 rolls around and we have a healthy team and our rookies are better than they were for game 1 it was a successful season. Go Bills!!!
Who will make you freak out if taken?
