We made the playoffs with mike Tolbert as our #2. Chris ivory is a better RB, period. Who cares what they pay him.

Don’t have to over think this.
1. Is he better than Tyrod? I would say yes.
2. Does he fit the mold the bills are looking for? I would say yes.
3. Can he make the throws that are needed to be successful? Yes
4. Has he won a Super Bowl? Check!
In all honesty I really want one of the top guys in the draft but the fact is we are not in a good position this year to get one of them regardless of the draft picks we have. We can only trade up if another team is willing to do so and I don’t see it happening. If Barkley goes first overall like they are speculating, we are beyond screwed.

I really like our GM and our HC. They both seem to be in control of what they are in charge of and have good communication with each other. That’s something we didn’t have in years past . After this year I have faith in their personnel decisions and feel like they will make the right decisions come draft day.

I don't understand the Ivory interest at all. We need a young kid in the pipeline due to McCoy's age. I have zero interest in another 29 year old RB.
I think Beane is trying to fill as many spots in FA as he can so he knows come draft time if he will pull the trigger on a trade up for a QB or if there are still too many spots to fill and stay put.

I might be in the minority but I bet they like baker Mayfield! I don’t think they can get into the top 2 and I strongly believe Denver ends up with Cousins. Denver may end up as our trade partner.

Extend shady to lower his cap hit and make sure he retires a Bill. Shady will be effective until he is 33-34.

He also tweeted that Beane went to LA to meet with Jimmy G.

Oh please...you make it sound like the Pats will break into the 49ers stadium and light a bag of poop on fire at mid field...nonsense.
Wouldn’t put it past them. This is all nonsense because it’s not going to happen. If it was reported that they were at tempo I would believe it!
-
If the 49ers trade Jimmy here, the pats will never make another trade with them and they will end up like the colts. The pats will find some way to screw them over. The pats are known to be vindictive at times.

Throw the damn ball!!!

I have friends who are close with him and his family. I know most of his family wants him to retire because of the back problems he’s had. Now that he has had a head injury I’m assuming that could make him reevaluate what he wants.
-
Eventually they are gonna have to pull the trigger on a rookie QB and most likely it will Be via trade. Cause we all know we’re not good enough to win the super bowl and not bad enough to get the 1st overall pick. We had a chance at 2 good QB prospects last year in Watson and Mahomes and passed, now we are back to QB purgatory unless we give up our whole draft and some next year to move up. I’m starting to believe that beane might be out smarting himself thinking we can put a band aid on this problem and not take a chance on a guy unless he is drafted in the 5th round or later. That’s not gonna work!

So Alex smith it is!

The situation will play itself out in FA. Cousins could stay in Washington, or sign with Denver or the Jets, maybe even the Cardinals...
And where do those two Minn QB's end up? (Bradford and Bridgewater) assuming that they sign and keep Keenum...
And then there is the Cinci backup QB McCarron whose status is unclear at the moment...
This will help clear the air as to who may be drafting a QB highly besides the Browns and Giants presumably,,,,
Don’t forget about Alex Smith.

Wouldn't you choose the weather in SD over Buffalo plus a QB named Phillip Rivers definitely sexier job at the time.
Well the tables have turned and he is looking for work. I’m sure he will find something if he doesn’t come here.

His wife wanted nothing to do with Buffalo

McCoy chose SD over the Bills, I don’t think McDermott will forget that. I bet it’s Chud.

this is a great summary
Just in... with the shady news expect to see a new series of Webb carrying the ball. We have to run the ball and we all know Tolbert is not the answer, please expect Webb to get some carries, just saying.
Glenn being traded to seattle
I thought we already went down that road with no luck. Seattle trades for the Houston LT, why would they want Glenn?

How does everyone feel about the new NFL offseason?

Kind of wish the draft was before FA. You could fill your roster with young cheap draft picks then go get your Free Agents
