  1. I don't think the Bills were bad last year. I know they went 6-10, but when they were healthy they were great, they were one of the best teams in the AFC. I'm not saying the only reason the Bills collapsed last season was injuries, but I think it was the main reason. Also, last year we got to see how important it is to have a great quarterback, I mean firsthand, see how a good quarterback meakes a team great, and a mediocre quarterback makes a team bad. Lastly, I was watching the Bills v Patriots replay a couple weeks ago, and saw even in the beginnning of the season our defense was terrible. I think all those problems are fixed now. We have okay depth so if we get into injury trouble, we shouldn't collapse. Fitzpatrick is back to 100 percent so he should be better(hoping it was injuries that made him bad suddenly). And through the draft and FA we possibly have a top five defense in the NFL.

  2. I honestly don't know whats going to happen on Sunday. The question is which Bills show up, the Bills who showed up against New Englannd or the Bills who showed against Cincy. Also, which Giants team shows up they are an on and off team. I'm just hopeful that Fitz and the Bills will come out strong and play well all four quarters.

  3. I don't think he'll have a breakout season this year, but soon I think Kamar Aiken is going to have a breakout season soon. A couple years ago I saw potential in a young reciever by the name of Stevie Johnson and think Kamar is on the same path as Stevie. Kamar had good hands and was a strong ball carrier. If he isn't plucked off our practice squad I wouldn't be suprised if (due to injuries) he got so playing time this year.

  4. Last year our O-Line was strong except for Right Tackle. Bell, Levitre, Hangartner, and Wood was a good line. IMO all the Bills had to do was keep the line as is and then in free agency sign a good RT (Which for the Bills is a difficult task)Now instead of a respectable line, we have a good line on the left side and a below average line on the right side. But for all we know Urbik and Pears could be solid. I don't know maybe the changes made were in fact good changes, I would think Chan knows more than fans.

  5. Although it's seems to be another rebuilding year at least we are actually making progress. I believe we have a good enough QB for the time being. Our O-Line is still up in the air, the left side is solid, however we don't know how strong the right side is or even if its a problem. And for a change I think we have a respectable TE in Scott Chandler. Our defense seems somewhat improved with the addition of Barnett and Dareus. Also, it looks like Chan and our coaching staff look like they kniw what they are doing. So, if you put that all together I would predicte that the bills are 6-10 or 7-9.

  6. Yeah, I work there. In fact, I own it. Of course, that's the only reason I'm not in lockstep with the rest of you......The poster said he used to listen to Howard on GR, when he got home. Fact is, he never worked afternoons at GR. Yes, he did on Empire.

Wow. Sorry I made a small mistake, I use to love to come home and listen to Howard on Empire.

  7. I was watching Scott Chandler in highlights from training camp and he is looking really good. He's got the size, and he definatley has the hands. I can't wait to see him in preseason, I think he can be the real deal. It looks as though he is better than David Martin and Shawn Nelson, which isn't saying much. He is also very athletic for a man his size, to me he looks like another weapon Fitz can use.

  8. I used to love when I would come home I could turn on WGR and listen to Howard Simon. Howard Simon actually used to talk about the Bills, Sabres, ect. Now, if I turn on WGR I hear Shlep and the Bulldog. Shlep thinks he is absolutley brilliant, when he talks to a caller he talks down to the person as if he is superior. I don't mind Bulldog as much as Shlep, but none the less they are both annoying. I started to listen to WECK 1230, and I like them alot more than WGR 550.

  9. I think the Bills will be average this year, however I'm pretty excited to see if Fitz can have an even better year, and I'm looking forward to see Dareus and all our draft picks. I think the Bills offensive line will be ok, but I do think they are still pretty underrated. The left side of the line is solid, I like Bell, Levirte, and Wood. Pears will be an upgrade compared to Cornell Green. And when Urbik played last year I thought he was fine. I don't believe are defense got any weaker, we only lost Poz and Whitner. Now in Poz's place will be Nick Barnett. Also we have a healthy Merrimen. All in all I think the Bills are going to be fine this year and will only improve upon last year.

  10. I always hated Donte, I thought he had potential. But when you are first round pick you are held to a higher standard because of high expectations, and he didn't reach any of them. The only thing that Donte was good for was destroying recievers. Other than that he was bad in coverage and didn't help out at all on run defense.

  11. I don't understand why QB controversy is being brought up because Tyler looks good in PRACTICE. Practice means nothing, you can't say one QB looks better then an other until they play in a game. Until they are actually under pressure and what they do actually matters, you can't say one looks better than the other. Right now, this is Fitz's team, he deserves a fair shot at being the leader of the Bills. Unless, Fitz is terrible for more than half the season I wouldn't even think of putting in Tyler. We finally have a respectable starter in Fitz, why don't we all get behind him and support the guy.

  12. I don't know why people are so nervous about our LB's. We only lost Poz, and to be honest I never liked Poz. He could never stay healthy anyways. I personally can't wait to see Kelvin Sheppard, they make him sound like a Ray Lewis because of the emotion he plays with. Also I'm curious to see Arthur Moats at ILB. I also heard that the Bills moved Torbor to ILB.

  13. Every year we see another Bills young talent have a breakout year, for example last year Steve Johnson had a breakout year. So, this year I'm hoping C.J. Spiller, David Nelson, or Maracus Easley have a breakout season. Last year on many occasions we saw flashes of how good C.J. Spiller could be. David Nelson was very good, anything that was thrown his way was a sure reception. He, too showed how good he could be towards the end of the season. Lastly, I can't wait to see Marcus Easley, every report I have seen on him have talked about his great potential and improvment. We didn't get to see him play last year due to injury, but he sounds like he could be a real passing threat. So, those are the three players I am most looking forward to watch in this up and coming Bills season.

  14. Thank God, I was really starting to get nervous that there was going to be no football. That sounds pretty scary, NO FOOTBALL. But it dosen't matter now, the lock-out is over and we can finally put a start to another glorious Buffalo Bills season.

  15. Although the Bills have a pretty tough schedule, I saw a lot of improvement under Chan and I would think the Bills could only get better. So I would have to agree with the Bills going 7-9. I think the AFC champion will be the New York Jets and the NFC champion will be the Philadelphia Eagles. The Superbowl champion will be the Philadelphia Eagles.
