  1. Welcome to the last 18 months. This isn't new, people just refused to acknowledge it until now for some reason. They proved this when they hired Whaley, got rid of Fitz, drafted Kiko in the 2nd (who had off field issues) then Duke in the 4th (also off field issues)...etc etc.

This hasn't been the same team since Brandon took over for Ralph. We have greatly increased the talent on this team, staff, and FO since Brandon took over. If EJ, or some other player, can stabilize the QB position, we are certainly a playoff team and will contend for the division title.

    You are Correct SIR!
  2. You guys are way over reacting. Manual had one horrible play when he fumbled but the other mistakes were not his. If Chandler isn't tripping over his own feet and the RB fumbling the ball after the catch and the oline getting called for a penalty on half the good plays he would have looked much better. Give the guy a chance. I'm not saying he'll be great but I know I'd hate to be learning the QB position in the NFL in front of everyone being so negative. What do you expect? Everyone knew he was a bit of a project coming out of college. I see improvement, granted, it is painfully slow but the rest of the team needs to get it together and lend a hand.

    I+1
  3. Captain, how soon can you land?

    I can't tell.

You can tell me. I'm a doctor.

No. I mean I'm just not sure.

Well, can't you take a guess?

Well, not for another two hours.

You can't take a guess for another two hours?

Holy cr*p you managed to make a horrible day end with a laugh, thank you!

  4. Easley did take one kickoff return to the house I believe. And yes he is WAY faster than tasker its not even close.

His knack for being unblockable on kick coverage reminds me of Tasker as well, and it has really helped this team. Marcus could make the pro bowl if he keeps this up.

Nice to see him making an impact after all the patience we've had for the kid and all the work he's put in. Im proud of him.

Even though its probably not what he imagined when he was drafted, it's still a huge help to our team.

    +1

  5. Hi devoted Bills fan from the Bahamas. My girlfriend decided to give me the ultimate birthday gift with tickets to a Bills game. We will be arriving in Buffalo on Friday to watch us take on the Ravens. Seeing that it is both of our first time we are looking for the ultimate Buffalo experience. We want to take in the sights and sounds of the town and we will be going to Grover's to take on the burgers. Maybe we can hook up with some natives. Any suggestions

Expect to wait in line at Grovers, hell, the line usually stretches out the door so dress accordingly.

  6. who knows. expectations are so low I am somehow morbidly looking forward to Ralphs passing just to see the drama about the new owner/team direction changes. that seems to be the most interesting thing these days.. maybe they can change coaches every year and draft a QB no 1 every year for a awhile so at least our imaginations can run a little (as the reality is all too negative.)

I have tricked myself into thinking the Bills would be good for 13 years. But I knew I was not seeing a team develop as I did back in the mid and late '80s. Now I think I'm finally seeing what I saw way back then. One of the most frustrating things as a fan can be the inability to distinguish between blind hope and reasonable expectation, those lines blurred for me over the years. It"s my opinion a jump from 6 and 10 to 10 and 6 is not unreasonable for this season. Better QB play and an improved defense is what I expect from this team, to be ascending at last, to feel that feeling that were getting better and that we have the staff and front office who's competency we believe in to keep us getting better, finally, at last... After 13 years of frustration.

  7. There not keeping Fitz.

    correction: They're not keeping Fitz.

So, if we trash the best player (players) the team we root for ever had, it will mean that the current Bills will be better? Win a Super Bowl even?

The further removed we get from those teams of the early 90's, the more attitudes like yours prevail (I swear, it is the ESPN/Cowherd effect) the less joy there is to watching or following sports.

In addition to Cowherd and more disgustingly it's the local idiots on WGR, mainly that piss ant mike schoop. I swear he hates the Bills, hates the NFL, hates Buffalo, hates his callers, and hates his own life.

There may be some truth to that, in the case of the 1992 season...but without Jim Kelly there wouldn't have been a 4 year Super Bowl run either...

  8. I agree we need 2 new QB's in addition to Fitz - and let them battle for the job. I'm thinking the Bills agree and will have Fitz, Tavaris Jackson and a draft pick - unless they see another FA that they can get or if the Eagles release Vick - but I'm wondering if the Chip Kelly/ Eagles want to keep him now.

FA's - slim pickins - TJ looks like the best of the lot. (No way Flacco makes it to FA - otherwise I'd be OK with picking him up! )

Joe Flacco (BAL), Jason Campbell (CHI), Tarvaris Jackson (BUF), Matt Moore (MIA), Drew Stanton (IND), Seneca Wallace (FA)

    There not keeping Fitz.

    There not keeping Fitz.

    correction: They're not keeping Fitz.
