  1. I don't think we're watching the same video then. First, the highlight reel there shows a tight end who requires gang tackling to stop, can catch balls thrown behind him but still maintains enough momentum to get great yards after catch. You may want to go back and watch the rest, especially when he takes over the Steelers game (

    ).

Agreed....and Clay's got great hands...the ball just disappears when it gets near him and he's immediately up field. Also some of the highlights show the versatility of his game as well
  2. I think in this league Kiko was more of an asset than a RB like McCoy. The kid has football instincts that are not coachable. And those instincts allowed him to play beyond his physical qualities. Shady has speed, vision and balance....definitely a boatload of physical tools that bode well for him in any offense. So long term I think Kiko has more value.

But who knows. Maybe the knee will compromise his ability to use his instincts the way he was able to before.

if McCoy is now a Bill, we move past kiko and welcome in our new number 1 RB.

I'll miss Alonso tho....but our D did not skip a beat without him. And at least we have Preston Brown

  3. No red helmets. They are atrocious. What we need to do is revamp our logo and uniforms just like the patriots did when they sucked. From a marketing standpoint we want people outside of buffalo to purchase merchandise because of style. Stop living in the 70s people.

No thanks. Their unis suck more now than they did with patriot Pete. As for trying to jazz up and "modernize", that's exactly what they did when they killed us with those f***ed up pinstripe eyesores. God I'm glad that's over.

  4. I get sick of hearing "bad weather" being such a big factor for players or FA considering playing for Buffalo. It's an exaggeration of the frozen tundra perception of Buffalo. The majority of blizzard-like conditions occur after Jan 1.

Typically there are only about 4 games per year played in WNY after October, and usually there are not more than 1 out of 4 (if that) that could be considered "bad weather". There may be some cold games, but it's hardly any different than it often is in Denver, Foxboro, NY, Cleveland, Green Bay, Chicago, Pittsburgh, etc. Even players with the Bucs or Dolphins have to experience "bad weather" games, since there's a fair chance they'll play a late season game in one of those locations at some point.

Seriously, how many "bad weather" games have the Bills had at home over the past 10 years? I'd be surprised if there were more than a few. For you season ticket holders, what games in recent memory would you categorize has having harsh conditions for a Bills home game?

If fear of bad weather is really that much of an issue for any player, I wouldn't want him anyway.

    Everything this guy said
